Freaking delicious, order the bonehead burger and you will be in heaven. I'm going to ask for peppers next time need more heat but absolutely delicious and the fries those angle fries had all the fixings. Inside is clean and welcoming but had my food to go. The food was good not great. The best thing they have going is the tater tot's. There is no alcohol at this location and if you're thirsty, too bad. No soda machine or anything to get water. You have to buy a bottle of water. I ordered the chicken wings and didn't get any ranch or blue cheese which is a cardinal sin! I went in and asked for some and they charged me for it. We like to go for bike rides around IB and decided to stop here for lunch. We liked that there was a patio that we could keep an eye on our bikes. There were plenty of umbrellas for shade which was nice because it's summer and it's hot and I don't like eating in the sun. We went inside to order and loved that there was a simple menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and tots and fries. Small, simple menus to me means they get to perfect the food in my opinion. We each got the bonehead burger and tater tots to share and then went outside to sit under an umbrella. We got there right when it opened and soon after we sat down, someone from inside came out to apologize and wipe off our table just in case it was dusty. We didn't think it was dusty but it was good that they care so much about keeping the tables so clean. There was an awesome parrot in a cage closer to the building in the shade and it was pleasant to listen to him talk. A couple of other people showed up and one of them had a dog so it was cool that the patio was dog friendly. We got to chat with a nice couple for a bit who told us the burgers were great so we had high hopes. Our food came out in a timely manner and the burgers were huge! We got one order of tots to share and I'm glad we did because it was a very large amount of tots for only $6. Great value in my opinion. There was a super yummy seasoning on the tots too. And they were crispy not soggy. I hate soggy, bland tots but bonehead's tots were perfect. The hamburger was AMAZING! A smashed cheeseburger with this amazing chopped up bacon. I usually don't like bacon on my burger because it's never cooked the way I like it, it usually has fatty/chewy pieces. Not here. The bacon was super good. There were also fried scallions on it that were awesome!! The burger also had lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and "bonehead" sauce. But what set it apart was the bacon and the fried scallions. Super tasty! We were happy with the price point especially for such a great burger and the amount of tots we got. We will be back and Boneheads will probably turn into one of our regular stops for lunch. read more

I looove this place. I usually get the dirty angel head tots and they neverrr misss. The tots are extra crispy too, but not to the point where they're hard to bite. Savory with a hint of sweet, and the flavors come out immensely. I don't normally stray from the tots, but if I do, it's usually the bonehead burger. Another banger. Does NOT miss. My friend got the eazy breazy and said they liked it better than the bonehead burger. Came in 15 minutes after they opened & you can tell this place just opened up not to long ago. They have indoor & outdoor seating with nice music playing outdoors creating a vibe. Was my first and probably last time here. Came here with such high hopes and excitement but was left with disappointment. I ordered a bonehead burger which tastes good it was missing the crispy onions ... I probably would've been better just ordering the basic Kenny B burger. they also didn't have any fries which was disappointing.. I came for a whole meal and a craving that was not satisfied. Right when you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome. They've got sports on and the vibe is just solid. They're super community-oriented too--someone even had me try a local soda for feedback, and now it's my new favorite (shoutout to Swell). As for the food--the burger hit the spot. Perfect size, crispy, and light enough to help with the aftermath of last night. The cheesy fries are my usual order, but even plain fries here are on point. As much as I wanted to like the place because it was local I was a bit disappointed by the burger. I was ready for a flavorful greasy smash burger but what I got was almost like a fried patty and it was crispy rather than juicy. Having the patty crunch like a cracker in my mouth was pretty aversive and it was also a bit dry and needed ketchup to fix it. The loaded fries also did not hit. The food here is great--especially the sauce--and the tots are seriously awesome. That said, the hours can be a bit unpredictable, and a few times they've said they were open when they actually weren't. It also seems like they might be dealing with some staffing challenges.
