This was a good visit. It was a quick stop to get a bite after a long day of work and before the movies. When we arrived, it was surprising to see the owner at the register taking orders. We had not seen him in at least 8-9 years, and at the University Avenue location back then. We ordered: 1 Small Gyro Salad (comes with warm pita bread, 1 4oz Cheeseburger Combo with fries and a drink, and 1 Bodega Sub (Chopped hamburger meat and cheese with fries, and 3 fountain drinks. Total was $57 + tip. Our food was prepared well. There was one issue, the owner who took our order forgot to let the cooking staff know that my Husband did not want mustard & ketchup on his chopped bodega sub. So, they had to remake the sub, which delayed us from eating together about 7-9 minutes. It was okay, they apologized to us and the owner took responsibility for messing up the order. Man haven't been here in a while. They have a new menu with pictures. Same hard working staff and family owned. The service was quick and helpful. We ordered a small chicken greek salad and on beef kabob . The flavor and everything is just as I remember. This place is always a great experience. Something for everyone for sure. I ordered online expecting a gyro meal because the photo clearly shows a gyro with fries. What I actually received was just the gyro--no fries. There's also no combo option online, so you're forced to order everything separately, which drives the price way up. I spent about $40 on three items, and the portions were small for what you're paying. For $15, a gyro by itself is already overpriced, and not including fries when the picture shows them feels misleading. The food was average at best, nothing that justifies the cost. Between the pricing, portion sizes, and misleading menu photos, this place is not worth it. Would not recommend if you care about value. read more

They also think out of the box by adding gyros meat to the burger or bacon or pastrami any way you get the picture. Your girl had a busted ass day at work, so I decided to treat myself to a Gyro plate. CSB did not disappoint. My lunch special was delicious. Make sure you get the fries. They're always balanced, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Service was equally the female that took my order, kindly listened to me vent about my day.
