$$$$$$$$ for basic fast food . Go get sushi instead or a steak gd . They give extra fries just make you feel like you got something for the price bro g charged

First time ever at a Five Guys, absolutely shocked that this chain remains in business, the food was good, not great. Nothing even remotely equates to the price.3 burgers, 3 drinks, large fries, First and last time. I fell for the hype

    Awesome outdoor dining

The burgers and fries are wonderful. Service at this location in up and down line the tide...good days and bad days. My regular size burger, medium fries and large drink was $16.78! Expensive!!! We did a burger joint get so expensive? Service was good, food was great but the prices are way too high and are out of alignment with the other fast food burger joints...

    Filling up on peanuts.

YOU PAY A LOT FOR THOSE PEANUTS.... I have no excuse or anyone else to blame for coming here and spending $16.45 for a cheeseburger small fries and a drink. I knew the deal going in. Great food ... MAN, just mouthwateringly delicious food. I'll be honest, I come here sometimes because I know there will be plenty of empty tables unlike certain other places that provide value. I appreciate diverse business models, what I don't appreciate are pricing structures that are just bat (youknowwhat) crazy. When I brought my family here and we paid $40 for three people (sharing drinks) and had so much food and fries left over we never ended up eating it, that was one thing. To pay what I paid and end up filling up on peanuts afterwards is bloody insane. Now that I've said my peace, I like this place as one to bring your family as it's clean and near the beach, and my family loves the fries especially. There are a lot of wonderful touches but I cannot ignore the fact that it's impossible to eat a full meal here on a lunch budget. It's a burger and fries place, ok?!

I've heard amazing things about this place so my bf and I finally checked it out. I heard it was better then in and out. Now I'm not a huge fan of in and out like outta town people are so I wasn't expecting much. Well the burgers were fantastic. Looks just like an in and out when you walk in with the red and white tiles. They serve peanuts which was odd to me but ok since there thing is they use peanut oil. They don't just have burgers they have dogs too!! The burgers you build your own. It is pricey if your just into a plain burger but if you like fancy mushroom and other stuff on your burgers this is the place. You can have one or all the toppings no extra charge. The Cajun fries are delicious and never ending just get the small honesty and one for two people is good!!!! Customer service at this place was hit or miss. Some employees were awesome some hated their lives. But overall positive experience will come again.

After church I decided to stop by five guys in Imperial Beach. I'm giving them a three stars, only because when I ordered the bacon cheeseburger the cheese wasn't melted all the way. The veggie sandwich my fiancé got the cheese was melted all the way. I also ordered the regular Cajun fries they were good. The Oreo milkshake pretty good. Overall it was OK for lunch.

They just threw my fries in the bag not even in the cup...
    Tony T.

First time coming here, first they just throw the fries in the bag with the cup upside down. Not to mention they forgot to add condiments on my burger, not worth 45$ for 3 burgers...

Magic in between two eggy buns!! I love it here.

Went to the website and ordered online. Had some confusion because the website says 1/2 off fries with any burger order on Fridays. No option for the discount online, or it wasn't obvious how to make that happen. Placed order. Went to pick up about 12 mins later. What a strange experience for to walk into a restaurant on a Friday night with a total of 5 diners inside and not a single person to greet you or assist in where to pick up the order. I waited a few minutes until a worker came out from the back. She asked if I was there for a different order and I said no. She said it would be a few minutes the. No big deal, I take a seat at the empty bar and watch her make a milkshake. The place is sparkling clean and the worker is nice, so I'm giving them credit there. I mentioned the confusion about ordering a that there is a special on the website for Fridays. She said that it must've been for another location because "they have so many locations now." I'm posting a pic of the website's home page in photos. About 5 minutes later I get my order and take it home. I feel a little ripped off that this was a $32 burger and fries. The burger is okay, but of the 5 ingredients (bun, burger, cheese, special sauce and pickles) it's missing pickles. The fries ($10!) were soggy and just meh. The pics were taken as soon as I got home and opened the bag. I live 3 minutes away. Maybe the ingredients are high quality, but who cares if the execution is half-assed? I can't believe that if my wife and I would've ordered together, our meal could easily have been almost $70. No thanks. Do better. 2 stars because the burger wasn't awful, the worker was nice (if only uninformed or untrained) and the dining room/bar was super clean. Please do something about those bright fluorescent box lights though, ambience killer. Disappointed with this burger and fries. I live just a few minutes away. I want to say it uses cumin also, but honestly I'm not sure. I guess it's not exactly cheap, but well, it is what it is. The sweet pickles also give it an extra counter that wouldn't be offered by regular pickles. For my personal preference, I might like a little of something else in it. Like a bit of onion maybe, but that's just me. Both the burger and fries use this secret yellow-ish sauce that I suspect contains honey mustard and maybe some other salad dressing. The sidewinder fries are less like fries and more like potato wedges to me in size, texture, and taste. But they're good though (but I think they could be even better) They have a corkscrew shape that I don't usually see, like a spiral staircase.

I came down here because I have a friend from up north who's come down here a few times and suggested this place. He said it's one of his favorite places when he's in town, so that's saying a lot if it's a top place for him and the family. He was right. This was a juicy and incredibly tasty burger. I'd say it's up there with Amboy in Chinatown (Los Angeles) or the newer Amboy spot at Haven City Marketplace in Covina. This place is a gem. Ordering can be a little misleading; hence minus one star. This is a food court setup, and there are menus for each restaurant in these individual stands that are placed on top of a snack wall. If you're going to order from Rey TJ Burgers, it'll be to the left of the main restaurant/register that's directly in front of you when you enter. The main line is Mexican (and seafood I believe?), so I was standing for a while until a lady realized I was holding the Rey TJ burger and called me over. Ordering was easy. Rey TJ's didn't have drinks, so I hard to order from the Mexican food line. The cucumber aqua fresca was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences since I've had since I've moved to the San Diego area. I'm loving it here more and more. I've also had the opportunity to practice a lot of Spanish which I absolutely appreciate. The people here are amazing and much warmer than many of the parts of Los Angeles. Buen dia!

It's a food court with its own shared parking lot. When we went in there was a huge line to the door. As you go up the line, there are multiple menus placed to your left in which they have multiple different food options to choose from. Gave me anxiety as I felt rushed coming here for the first time. A line gathering up behind us, ppl in front of me, didn't want to be rude reaching over ppl to grab the menus. So just waited as we moved up to look at them. There's so many options it's overwhelming. Once we got to the front, we were trying to place our order only to find out we waited in line for nothing. The burger line was the empty line to the left which there's no signage or nothing to explain. We did order 1 adobada taco, a horchata, & a sprite. The girl forgot my sprite, told me to go order in the left line for burgers. So when I was placing our burger order, I asked for the sprite I never received. The cashier for burger spot said I have to go back into the other line to order that. Confusing af. Luckily it had 2 customers & not a line out the door like when we first arrived. I ordered the smoked brisket burger, my son the Russel cheeseburger, & my hubby the "burgers & fries." My son did not touch his burger, literally went to waste. My husband said his was ok. As for my brisket burger, I did not like mine at all. It was super salty. It came with a meat patty & CHUNKS of cubed brisket? When I got smoked brisket I assumed it would've been like a pulled pork texture. Quite the opposite. They were chunks of cubed meat. I didn't finish mine. We took everything to go & didn't eat the leftovers once home. We paid around $50 for some less than mediocre burgers that I could've done better at home. I liked that the food court had a self serve salsa bar with plenty of salsas, ingredients, etc. The presentation of the food was good! But the food just wasn't it for us. Probably would never return tbh. Also, when we were wrapping up - the server was hovering over us to finish so she could take the boards/fry basket back. Not like we're gonna steal them. Lol. But I get it, maybe previous patrons have put them near the trash or thrown them away. As the burger place may be its own individual business aside from the food court.
