She diagnosed the driver's side window issue over the phone, and told me what part to go buy, so that there wouldn't have to be a separate diagnostic visit (and separate fee). Requested a quote through Yelp and within less than 30 minutes I was contacted. After a few messages, I agreed to the price and was given an appointment for the next day. Was told a 4 hour window, that the technician would call 20 minutes out and would call again when he'd arrive. Yes, yes and yes! He called 20 minutes before arriving and arrived before the 20 minutes. Antonio got to work on the chipped window and within less than 30 minutes he was done. Very courteous, punctual, answered all my inane questions about the process, and now I have a windshield that won't have any further issues. A weeks ago I came to my car Oakland and the bad news quickly hit me. Someone has broken the right side quarter glass of my Golf. Requested a quote through yelp and they responded very quickly, and they were even able to accommodate a last minute appointment! They usually give you a 3 hour window of when a technician will come out, and call when they are on the way. The technician came out and took about an hour to replace my windshield and recommended I wait about 2-3 hrs before driving on the freeway. There was an issue with my wiper blades after my windshield replacement but they were able to have a technician come out to take a look and fix the issue. If you need your windshield replaced, or a chip fixed, don't hesitate on contacting them, they come to you, are flexible, and honor the quote that is given! I'm in Richmond, and not sure which office came out to help me - I used their website to get a quote, and don't know who they routed me to, so I'm reviewing the nearest Velocity Auto glass to me. Velocity was great. I discovered my car had been broken into at 7:40 at night. I used their website to get a quote around 9pm, and by 10:30pm I'd had a back and forth email exchange with John with the quote (which was cheaper than a big name competitor) and scheduled a technician to come out for today. The technician that came out was top notch and fast. He vaccuumed the glass out of my car (it was everywhere). He also helped jump my car when it wouldn't start, which was a pain because the starter battery is in the back, but the hatch wouldn't open with a dead battery, of course. (Sidenote, the only thing stolen from my car when they broke my window was my portable jumper pack. The universe has a clear sense of humor). The technician never made it seem like I was being a pain with this, and just handled everything. Even helped me a bit with tightening screws on my starter battery. Great business from start to finish. I would definitely go back to them again if I need another window replaced. read more

Unfortunately for me my car was broken into last night and needed a window fix ASAP. I called 3 different places; 2 of them were large scale businesses and the 3rd was Velocity, a local company. The 1st had lowest price but no install until next day. Velocity was only $3 more but had to check and make sure they had in stock. Ultimately I chose to go with #3, a large scale company as I figured they would be more experienced, they would match the price and have installed today. Big mistake! They ordered wrong window, broke it on the way and then told me it would be $80 more and wouldn't be until tomorrow. By that time it was 1:30 and I had to leave work at 4 to pick up my son. I called Velocity and said I needed install today. The nice girl told me that her repair tech had already picked up the window and could install between 2-4 pm. Noe called two minutes later and said he would be there in 20 minutes. He came right away, the window was a match, it took 30 min and he was done! They were very professional and neat.
