My driver window started rolling.down on its own and I just dealt with for a few weeks thinking it was gonna cost me an arm and a leg. One day I drove past Duran's Auto glass and decided to get a quote. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They told me the master switch had to be replaced and it would cost $110 total! I was in shock. I quickly paid my $20 deposit and waited for them to order the part. Service was fast and amazing. I highly recommend!!!! read more

12/8/25-On the day of my appointment, I called to let them know I would be running a bit behind, and they were very understanding and accommodating. I also truly appreciated their proactive communication, they contacted me to inform me of a brief delay in the windshield's arrival and clearly explained when I should come in. When I arrived at the updated time, the windshield was ready, and the technician began the replacement immediately. The technician was friendly, professional, and kept me informed throughout the process. He offered a comfortable lobby space to wait and provided updates while the work was being completed. I was also pleased that they honored the original quote exactly as promised, including waiving the card fee when I paid in cash, there were no surprise charges. I left with a receipt, a perfectly replaced windshield, and a very positive overall experience. I would absolutely recommend Duran's Windshield to anyone in need of windshield repair or replacement and would not hesitate to contact them again in the future. read more

After someone broke into my car, the front passenger window was shattered. Their service took a day and was affordable. Highly recommended.

Called for a windshield replacement appointment 12/8 and was scheduled the same day even if short notice. Mobile service was very convenient. The technician, Joe F., is skilled, professional, courteous and friendly. He gives post-service reminders too. Service duration was about an hour. The newly installed windshield looks neat. Affordable pricing as well. Cash and card accepted (Minimal fee for cc payment). First time availing service from Duran's. Appreciate your good customer service, Betty and Joe F. Will update here again regarding quality after driving with it for a week or more. - R read more

On 10/27/25 they damaged my truck. Then the next morning 10/28/25 when I came to tell them and ask for my refund. I explained what happened and showed the picture didn't even get the chance to ask for my refund because he instantly wanted to "fix the problem" they looked at my truck for 15 to 30 mins put tape over the wires that they damaged/cut and said it's fixed. But then stated they wanted to send it to a mechanic shop in the afternoon around 1pm cause my side view mirrors still weren't working and tried blaming it on a blown fuse, but I've replaced all my old fuses with brand new ones when I bought the truck 2 years ago. read more

I had my feet car window repaired quickly, great work, & affordable service! Call in for availability! New location just opened in Vallejo!

Fixed my broken window with speed. The glass was in place but the motor for the window did not work. Was relatively quick and painless.

My passenger window broke on the freeway from a rock to get groceries so I called up Duran's and they were able to get it done the next day when I asked their availability with a price quote after telling them my car & model. Super quick & professional install with cleanup of lingering broken glass, polished window. It was all done within less than 30 minutes and everything coming out better than ever if anything. Headsup! They do have a 3% card fee so if you have the cash on hand, pay in cash instead to save yourself a bit of money. read more

Duran's is as good as it gets. They drove to my repair shop to assist with a difficult windshield issue that five or six other places didn't want to do. I am extremely grateful and highly recommend them! read more

I highly recommend this auto glass shop for anyone who is a victim of car break in or you want an upgrade of your auto glass. I called on a Saturday and New Year's Eve and spoke with Betty, the very nice and kind boss lady, to request for a quote and a date to fix my car window after being broken into in SF downtown Costco area. They told me they went out same day to fix another broken window for someone whose car was broken into while shopping at Costco SF. . They provide mobile service as well. I told them I'm coming from the other side of the Bay Area and they are willing to stay till late for me, especially near the New Year's Eve. I'm super grateful for their good service and above and beyond care for customers. Price is also very reasonable. No matter where you are they can help as they have their mobile team. read more

Thank you to the receptionist for being kind as well!! It's hard enough when you're dealing with a broken window/vandalism. I had my drivers' side "vent" window smashed whilst out in downtown Oakland. Duran's provided the most affordable quote in the area and was responsive. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, after scheduling my appointment. The only downside was they didn't do a great job cleaning up/vacuuming the broken glass. I was in a hurry so I left after the job was done but I'm sure they would've vacuumed it again if I asked. I highly recommend! read more

I've been coming here for years! They are always on point, and usually gets me in and out of there within a few hours in the same day

I had my windshield replaced at a great price, & it was a simple process dropping my car off. Everyone was very friendly also. However, I was told I would be called when my car was ready. 3 hours went by with no call, so I called them & was told it had been ready. Surely just a simple mistake, but shouldn't it be common sense to remember to call the owner, so that the car isn't taking up space in the lot & you can fit more business in? read more

The staff was great. They fixed my window in about 45mins. They were MUCH cheaper than my insurance deductible. They turned a negative situation into a positive one! Quick, professional, and cost efficient. Will be back for future replacements if need be. They replaced the windshield of my Acura TL 2006 before I could finish my walk around the neighborhood. Gold star in my book. read more

Bad service, I went there for the first time and the owner and a bunch of employees were smoking, (nor professional) and ask the owner for a windshield replacement, I told him that everything was cover by my Insurance (State Farm) windshield and camera calibration but he insisted in the possibility of me paying 350 dollars for the camera calibration, I was 100% sure that my Insurance was going to cover everything because I call and verify before going to this place. When finally They replace the windshield, they never call me to tell me that my vehicle was ready, I had to guesstimate on my own , when I went to pay to the office to pay the deductible (100$) I ask permission to use the restroom and I almost throw up, smelly and nasty overall san things with the office and lobby. Please consider other options when It comes to glass replacement read more

This company was fast and affordable. My windshield cracked and I was able to have it replaced. They removed the original windshield, and cleaned up pretty well. They even carefully removed my dash cam (after-market cam) and allowed me to place it back where I wanted it. I really appreciated that consideration. read more

For over 2 years my windshield on my 2008 Scion XB had a circular crack that looked like a baseball, and surprisingly I was never pulled over. One day I was getting some tire work done across the street at Richmond Tire, who are great people by the way. While I waited for my tire to be changed, I crossed the street and got a quote for my windshield and was surprised at the reasonable cost. Even so it still took me 2 years to get it replaced for several reasons, beginning with cost. My mechanic quoted me $220, Duran's quoted $189, a nearby competitor, literally down the street quoted me an unbelievable $140, and lastly my dealer quoted me $885 just for the glass. I was moments away from replacing my windshield at $140, but moved the appointment to the next day. As I left, I took a look at the glass they were going to install and it was a brand called XYG. As I left, I began Googling XYG and to my surprise it's just about the worst piece of glass you can get. I decided to stop at Duran's and ask what kind of glass they were going to use with my $189 quote and they said Pilkington and assured me its a high-quality piece and the closest thing to dealer. I asked if they could special order such brands like PPG, which is very reputable but they were unable, but assured me on Pilkington. I went home and began to research auto glass. It's safe to say I know more about auto glass than a normal person. There are three different types of auto glass: dealer, OEM, and aftermarket. Dealer glass is directly from your car manufacturer, with your make engraved on to the glass, but expect to pay close to $1000 just for glass. OEM is the next best thing. OEM companies such as Pilkington and PPG have approved contracts with car makers and are precise in every way and are affordable. Aftermarket is your worse option as they are 3rd party vendors, who have no license or approval from car makers to manufacture glass, such as XYG, but is priced significantly lower. If you're like myself and have a fine appreciation for automobiles, you'll find yourself getting dealer glass if possible. However, if you do not have comprehensive insurance, you're more than likely going to have to settle for OEM. Sure, it doesn't say your car make on the glass, but your saving hundreds, and hundreds of dollars. I would strongly advise staying away from aftermarket glass. The price difference from aftermarket to OEM is very, very minimal. As for the quality of work by Duran's; simply excellent. The majority of the installers are young, Hispanic men, who know exactly what they're doing and have years of experience under their belt. One of the installers is who recommended Pilkington glass and was right on the money. The finished product looks identical to the factory. The installation took less than 45 minutes and were thoroughly professional, with no corners being cut, and taking their time to clean the opening and new glass before installing. I was hesitant of breaking the factory seal but the finished product looks amazing and have subsided my worries. I know I can count on the fine folks at Duran's, especially with their warranty. There's tons of options for auto glass in San Pablo and Richmond, but I'm confident in saying I've found the best of them all. Note: Safelite does not necessarily mean quality, as they are known to use aftermarket glass, such as XYG, depending on what your insurance company instructs. I recommend Duran's, period. read more

getting your car window broken into is no fun for anyone, but Duran's Auto glass made this an easy fix! Called on Saturday evening and they were able to fix it on Monday. Made an appointment for 2pm, but they were able to see me earlier. While fixing my window they were very thorough, the switch wiring was messed with, they fixed it but let me know that it would take longer. Everything was finished in roughly 40 minutes! Super professional, fast and helpful service. Will definitely recommend this place to other people. Keep up the great work! read more
