Oscar was incredibly response and provide multiple price options for consideration. He provided me with a time window for arrival and was considerate enough to text me when he was 10 minutes out. I really appreciated his attention to doing the job right. I saw him go the extra mile to ensure all of glass was vacuumed!! I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if needed. You should too. read more

Fast response. Super friendly guys. Superb work. Nothing else to say. They get the job done.

My husband's work truck was broken into one morning and he needed to replace the window that day so that he can get back to work. His company recommended SafeLite but they weren't able to fit him in until the following day. This is where Oscar came to the rescue because he actually had that particular window in stock and provided a fair price that was comparable to competitors in which you would need to drop your car off and wait. Not only did we not have to go drop the car off, we got to wait comfortably at home and Oscar arrived within 45 minutes from the time that we called. He completed the work in a little under 2 hours and my husband was back on the road. A huge thank you to Oscar and it was a great experience! While I hope it will never happen again, I now know where I can go for a window replacement. Highly recommend! read more

I called Oscar immediately after a different auto glass service failed to replace my sunroof after wasting my time and dragging out the repair for almost two months (sidenote: would NOT recommend Express Service Auto Glass). Oscar gave me a very reasonable quote and told me that he'd be able to replace my sunroof the next day, which I found almost unbelievable considering how long the previous shop was taking. The day of the repair, Oscar was extremely professional, communicative, and punctual, and replaced my sunroof to perfect condition in about two hours. He explained that the specific piece of glass I needed was expensive and hard to source, but that he was able to have such a quick turnaround because he drove SEVEN HOURS round-trip the morning of the repair to pick up the glass from a vendor in Fresno. I can't emphasize how grateful I am to have found Oscar--his service, work ethic, and quality of work (especially at his price point) is near impossible to come by nowadays. I will undoubtedly be calling him for any future replacement needs and would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs any glass service done. Thank you Oscar! read more

Oscar has replaced glass on two of our cars now, both on the same day we called, doing his very best to accommodate our work schedules. On the replacement he did for us today there was an issue with the fit - the window edge was protruding more than was acceptable. He removed the glass he had just spent an hour putting on, drove an hour down and an hour back to pick up a used OEM window, and returned the same day to do the fix properly. Making something like that right says everything you need to know about Oscar. His thoughtfulness and care is so appreciated. Highly recommend. read more

I just came into Bay Area from Las Vegas to take care of family business. Arriving late Saturday night we went to have dinner in Piedmont, parking in front of Fenton, where it was full of people outside thinking nothing bad can happen. After dinner walking back to my truck, oh wow, I was wrong. My passenger rear window was broken. Now being stressed out, where do I find a business that can take care of my broken window on a Sunday, since I have an early afternoon appointment that I can not be late for. I searched on Yelp and came across Mobile City and saw that they are open early Sunday morning. Oscar saved my day. After talking and explaining my situation, he came out to my place where I was staying to replace my window so I can make my appointment on time. The price he quoted me was very fair. The quality of his work was great, cleaned up all the broken glass and assemble everything back as original. Thank you Oscar, really highly recommended. read more

Mobile City Auto Glass - Didn't take an "after" photo but it was a job well done! - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me

Oscar from Mobile City Auto Glass changed my windshield yesterday in the parking lot while I got work done at a coffee shop. Oscar and his business is the epitome of 'good business elevating humanity.' I have been driving around with that dam* cracked windshield for 8 years. It cracked shortly after it was installed as the previous installer at a different company did it incorrectly. When I finally got around to pricing a replacement the cost doubled. Yesterday I was shocked to learn about the quote Oscar shared with me as the dealership charges triple. What blew my mind further was that Oscar was ready to get it done the same day. Imagine my relief having this crack off my list that I've been staring at for 8 years. Oscar was incredibly detailed on the phone despite having called him on a Saturday afternoon. He used my vin number to confirm which windshield I needed and we discussed a time for replacement. Shortly after he texted me a bid and we confirmed our meeting time and place via text. He arrived before I did and got to work right away. He accepted many payment methods and I was able to pay on the spot. Oscar installed the windshield within 90 minutes and gave me instructions to remove tape the following day and refrain from the car wash for 3 days. The experience was pleasant, frictionless and uplifting as Oscar is a good soul. I highly recommend. read more

Life in the hood is always hard. No more are the words true than in Oakland, the more you own, the more you have to worry about. That being said, my car window was smashed so they could see what was inside. I did a quick search on Yelp and saw the great reviews on Mobile City Auto Glass. I called and Oscar answered the phone. He gave me a competitive quote and scheduled an appointment to replace my window same day. He was punctual, showing up exactly at the scheduled time. He first did a thorough job vacuuming up all the glass that ended up in every crevice of my car. He then installed the window and made sure it functioned properly. He was very cool and down to earth. He helped relieve this unexpected obstacle and some of the stress that I felt from it, just one of many injustices I face living in this messed up world. So if you read this Yelp because you are in the same boat, know that you are not alone. And at least we have Oscar to fix it. read more

I called to see if I could get the windshield seal replaced. Oscar was very helpful and offered to come by the following day ( a Sunday no less) . After an inspection and some discussion, it was decided that I could wait a little and the replacement wasn't necessary. I very much appreciate the honest opinion. I will definitely be usung them when the time comes! The quote is very affordable as well. Thank you Oscar! read more

Oscar is amazing! Directly called him to get the rear view window replaced of my Tesla and he immediately gave me his availability. Upon arrival, he had all his supplies ready to get it replaced. Great. Oscar showed up exactly when he said he would. He was quiet and respectful - he inspired confidence from the get-go. Then good things started to happen and an hour later my truck was looking renewed and happy! Oscar has all the tools and equipment he needs right in his van. Mobile City Auto Glass - Molly and Oscar. Thank you, Oscar! - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me

Went to a nail salon on telegraph avenue parked in the lot a few steps away from the door. My mistake was assuming a security guard posted would dissuade break-ins. I was wrong in this assumption. Though nothing was in my car, the vandal still smashed my drivers side window. I called 3 shops in the area and Oscar was the most helpful and prompt. I was told by the other shops that Honda's and Kia's were being targeted for the last few months and the glass is hard to come by. The outlook of getting my window repaired began to grow dark. Oscar called me the very next morning (2 hours before anyone else) to let me know he was able to get the glass as well as install it the very same day. Very prompt and excellent repairs. Within 24 hours Oscar helped me get back to normal. read more

I had a break in to my rear passenger side window. Nothing in the car but they wanted to check out the trunk, so they lowered the back seat. Nothing in the trunk. I used Mobile City Auto Glass for the same issue 4 years ago. They came promptly (within 90 minutes). Cleaned all broken glass, replaced the window, and were done in less than an hour. Efficient, freindly, clean, knowledgable. I hope I don't need them again, but if I do, I won't hesitate. EXCELLENT! PS: They prefer a check or Zelle. Mayube VenMo but I am not sure. read more

I'm feeling so grateful to Oscar and I found him on Yelp so wanted to write a review! My entire back windshield on my minivan was smashed Sunday night. I was so stressed and called him around 8pm and he told me he could come at 9am the next day - amazing! Such a relief. My issue ended up being more complex than just a window - the glass had fallen into the liftgate and we couldn't get the trunk open or closed. I was sure we were going to have to go to the dealer or something and pay so much money... but Oscar was confident he could handle it and he did! I feel like someone else would have charged me more than his initial over-the-phone quote but he didn't. All was handled over about 2 hours this morning. I'm so happy and definitely recommend calling Oscar if you want the job done! read more

I'm a bit late on writing my review for Mister Oscar. I called his business the morning both of my car windows got smashed and Oscar was able to respond the same day and also come out and repair both our car windows same day. His service is outstanding. I would recommend Oscar and his company to anyone out there with a broken window! my car was broken into in the city and I couldn't get it together enough to bring it in somewhere. Called Mobile City at 8am and Oscar was able to come out at 10am! Amazing. Oscar was indeed amazing! We were from out of town to visit Cal for the weekend. We had dinner at a restaurant in Oakland and noticed our 2 glass windows were broken into. I found his number on on yelp and called him late night at 9 PM. I was going to leave a voicemail since after business hours but he answered my call. He came out the next morning and it happens to be Easter Sunday and replaced the two glass windows for us so that we can drive home. I can't thank him enough for his prompt response and professionalism. read more

Wow! What an absolute pleasure working with these guys. Despite having one of their work vans stolen the day they planned to work on my car, they still made a point of showing up and doing the work. Then, with all the chaos, Oscar, the owner, realized (after the fact) that his employee had accidentally installed a high quality after-market window (instead of the Ford window). He called me up after he realized the error, and offered to either come back out and install the Ford window or send me the $150 difference. I opted for the latter, since the window they installed is indistinguishable. I would also add, that I never would have know it was an after-market brand. I was super happy with the cost and work they did, even before he called. This shows honesty and integrity - uncommon qualities these days. Fantastic value also . I will always go back to these guys for any car window needs! read more

Oscar was so kind, so fast, and did a great job at replacing my back windshield, same day that I called him. He came earlier than expected, finished sooner than expected, and communicated with me.
