I got a quote on the spot for the windows, and Mo called back with a quote on tinting a short while later. The quote included replacement tinting on my rear window (might as well while he was at it), and both quotes were very reasonable. The whole job was completed in a few hours, and I was all windowed up again before the rains started. They did a beautiful job. This place is a hit or miss. The very first time I took my car here... both the installer and sales rep (their names: L**s and M****n) were super friendly and professional. L**s was very meticulous with my car. The inside of my car had floor mat coverings and my dashboard clean - just like what when I dropped it off. He explained to me everything he did. I was impressed. Therefore the next time I got my windshield damaged, I opted to go here again. Unfortunately... I did't have L**s as the installer but M****n and he was so horrible. The inside of my car my so dirty. It had remnants of the installation and my dashboard was filthy. I was so mad. I didn't have time to fully complain b/c they were installing another car and they were all rushing. It was completely unprofessional. Even the sales rep (J**i) was rushing me. They were so in rush that they had to call me back so that they could fix my EyeSight. Not to mention my floor mat was filthy. I went to Chevron and cleaned it all out. I'm not sure who the owner of this place but my goodness... if or when I need to go here, I'll be sure to ask if L**s will be the one installing my window and not M*****n or J**i in the vicinity. One day I was driving and saw a van saying Auto Glass Repair and Replacement. I took a photo just incase I needed it. Boy I am so glad I did. My BMW window stopped rolling up and down and I suspected in was the regulator because I had a similar issue about 4 years ago. I took my car down to the same shop as before. He said he will call me to let me know about the diagnosis, even though I kinda knew what it was. He did call me and gave a price double what he had charged me before. I told him to hold off. I remembered the picture I took and thought to give them a try. The initial call was routed to Fremont but I found out that they have a local shop as well. I went to that shop and got an estimate which matched what I received from the Fremont office. I left my car there for maybe 30 minutes! It was done in less than and people who work there Mo and So could not be any nicer and more helpful. I haven't had such a pleasant experience with any repairs needed for a LONG time. I'm not easily impressed by businesses but when I am, I prolly went to Glass Tek. I have been here multiple times with different cars with broken windshields and other windows. Lately it has been the rear wing on my Audi because I'm dumb enough to drive to Oakland and park for a minute. That's another story. I have zero deductible for glass which is nice. Even nicer is after calling Glass Tek that whole process is painless. The other plus is they let you know what is going on every step of the way. When the glass was ordered, when it will arrive, setting up an appointment, and when it's done. Pain free and easy. And not only was the area where broken glass is all over the place vacuumed, the whole car was vacuumed. If you had to wait 3-4 weeks for an OEM Toyota windshield, you were not alone. I had a cracked windshield on my 2020 Tacoma, and of course I called GlassTek. They explained all about the OEM windshield and the camera calibration. Okay, well my insurance covered it. But wow, the supply lines are slow! It took over a month to get the OEM windshield.
