Is it appropriate to give a five star rating to a service that just worked, albeit brilliantly? I struggled with this initially because at the end of the day Auto Glass Express replaced the windows that were broken on a recent trip to LA on schedule and they did the work quickly, in less than two hours. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. That should be the standard, right? But in this case the top rating was so well deserved and here's why. Firstly, they were fully integrated with my insurance, I filed the claim with my insurer and they appeared on the first page of suggested vendors that were not Safelite. I did search for a good glass provider near me and intended to use AGE because they were highly rated here. Within 24 hours of my filing the claim they called, asked for some photos and a VIN to ensure they had the right parts which was all done as a reply to a text they sent me. They gave me a delivery date for Thursday there and then and we arranged an appointment to get the work done. From there it was smooth sailing, they texted me when I was running late and I turned up 20 minutes after my appointment time but they still accommodated me. The glass was installed within 90 minutes and I was texted letting me know it was ready. When I arrived, I paid my deductible was handed my keys and the car was back to normal. From the filing of the claim, to the efficient and fast way they communicated with accurate delivery dates that they stuck to and the quality of the work, it was clear to me that this was an example of how to run a small, local service business. I always try and patronise small businesses but often the draw to a chain retailer is based on how well integrated their workflow is with modern technology. AGE did not disappoint here, this is a very well run business. I hope not to need their services in the future but if I do, I will make them my first stop. read more

Estimators and office staff were able to use a provided VIN to match year and option for a perfect replacement, including the optional heat and UV-filtering addons in the OEM window. Pricing was transparent and up-front, including breakdown into parts, labor, and included tasks like cleanup of shattered glass inside the door and car itself. Mobile installation was an option, but the proximity of shops and restaurants in the area meant my mid-day appointment went by quickly. For those of you who have AAA insurance you get pushed to that big national chain. They were hopeless, never communicated, and after 3 weeks said they couldn't find part. As for Auto Express. Firstly they are approved by AAA insurance so no need to go to big chain. They were super responsive over email and phone. Within a couple of hours of me contacting them, they'd found the part, emailed me back and said it would take a couple of days. We booked for a short time later. Service was quick and flawless. Also as others have said a ton of coffee shops and restaurants all less than 5 mins walk for you to kill the time while they repair. I believe they will also have mobile glass service too.
