Chai was great for fixing a windshield ding that started immediately spreading. He was able to come out the same day and fill it to prevent it spreading further. read more

I have had a crack in my windshield for a year or two and felt it was time to get it replaced since winter is coming. I asked for estimates from several places and Chai's had the lowest price with very good reviews. They responded quickly as did a few others, but I decided to go with Chai's. They needed the vin#, model, etc. to see if they had the windshield in stock and they did so we arranged a time and they said they could come out and replace the windshield. They came on time and it took about an hour and a half and they were done. It's been about a month and I haven't had an issue. It's a husband and wife team, I think. Very satisfied and am recommending them. read more

Price is a large part of customer experience. The quote for a windshield chip repair was $95. This is above the average of 60-75$, but it is a mobile repair so it saves the cost of driving to a shop. I can't report on work quality, as my insurance only pays $60 for a repair, so I had to go to an in network auto-glass company to avoid a $35 copay. *It's important to find out limits of insurance payout and shop's charge (both do not offer that info without asking for it). This is a family owned shop, which, similar to auto mechanic repair, is better than a chain or dealership. The owner answers phone calls, good appointment availability. read more

Got my 2000 Isuzu rodeo fixed after it got broken into. Good price and didn't take long to install highly recommended.

Chai responded to call. Appointment set up. He called before he came. He showed up early. Chai is very friendly and respectful. I am satisfied with the work done. read more

Chai is awesome. Super prompt, courteous, great communicator. Fixed my 2023 Bolt EUV windshield in an hour the day I needed, and so far so good! When the stupid electric car sensor error message came on afterwards, I told him about it and he came by the next day to check it out, for free, without my even asking him to do so. Turns out that with electric cars you have to get them recalibrated every time your windshield is replaced, has nothing to do with Chai's work. My insurance is covering that so now I have that scheduled, but he's asked me to let him know how it goes. So nice to work with someone who genuinely cares about how things turn out and follows up! I recommend him 100%. read more

Mirror knocked off base. Gave options. Given that the mirror was working (camera still connected, control arm working) I had him glue it back on for a fraction of the cost of replacing. He then returned to make the glue seal clean. He's quick, responsive and skilled with making stuff work! read more

My car had a crack and Chai was very responsive and came over on the same day to fix it. He found a second crack that I wasn't aware of and fixed that too. The price was the same as a shop that I would have to drive to. It was very convenient and he was very professional. I would recommend him. read more

I had the greatest experience with these guys, professional individual's who work hard to complete their work. I have much respec!

Had a mishap while on family vacation and the rear window of my Rav-4 was blown out. I called Chai's Monday morning, they had the right window, came to my house within 2 hours (exactly within the one hour window I was given), and replaced it in about 30 minutes. No fuss, no muss, and the price seemed super fair to me. read more

Received a response almost immediately! I had my windshield replaced from the comfort of my home the same day and within a few hours of requesting quotes from multiple shops. In the past it would take me an entire day or a few days waiting just for my type of windshield to be ordered! He arrived on time and prepared for the job at hand and completed the windshield replacement in under an hour. Super Friendly, Professional and very Fast service! Thank you Chai's mobile auto glass! read more

I called my insurance company after my window had been vandalized . They connected me to a list of other businesses that they had already approved of, none of which could help me the same day . The soonest any of them could get to me was two or three days out . My driver side window was completely busted out. Within a couple hours Chai's mobile auto glass showed up and fixed everything up and I was back on the road. read more

Very professional job and a very affordable price! I just had Chai replace the shattered windshield of my 2015 Honda Accord (Sport). He came in time for the appointment and took about an hour to finish the job as promised. The price was the cheapest among those I found on Yelp who provide similar services. He provides free mobile services as well. Although the windshield glass is not a genuine Honda part, everything is the same as the genuine except the Honda mark, according to Chai. Considering that the price of a genuine Honda windshield glass is around up to $460, I saved more than $200 on this. Of course I need to wait and see how well the replacement performs in the future, but as of now, I am very much satisfied with his service, and I'd like to recommend Chai to my friends who are in similar needs. read more

When our car was broken into late Saturday evening, I reached to out to Chai's Mobile Auto Glass at 12:20am with questions that I had regarding their services, as well as requested a quote for window repairs. Being that it was a holiday weekend I figured I wouldn't hear back until sometime Monday or Tuesday morning. To my surprise, within about 15 minutes of my request, I received a reply. As I have never used their services in the past, I had several questions that I needed answered before deciding to move forward with any repairs. I have to say that Chai was very responsive from beginning to end (even at this late hour on a Saturday night) and answered all of my questions within minutes of me sending over my text messages. I think our last conversation ended at 1:50am and at that point all questions I had were answered. Now that's what I call awesome customer service!! During our conversation, Chai informed me that the soonest he could complete repairs would be Monday morning (which again was a holiday), and would confirm part availability with me first thing in the morning. Come Monday when I woke up, I was pleasantly surprised to see a message from him at 8am as promised saying that everything was good to go, that he would provide mobile services and come to my house to complete the window repair on my vehicle at 11am at no extra charge. Chai arrived to my house with his son and they completed the repairs within about 45minutes. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a great team to get the job done in an expeditious and professional manner. Thank you for your superior customer service and a job well done. You've earned yet another very happy and satisfied customer! read more

My van's back windshield was shattered for no apparent reason. We were on a road trip from Orange County to Seattle. Simon was very responsive and gave reasonable price. He's was a life saver because we needed the windshield to be installed the next day so we can head to our other destinations. He showed up to our hotel 30 minutes before the scheduled time and he took and hour to get it installed. Highly recommend his service if you are in the area. read more

Been having a string of bad luck so of course my window gets smashed. Glad for people like Chai - gave me the best quote, was prompt, came right on time, got it fixed and vacuumed out all the broken glass. Thanks, appreciate it! read more

In 7 days, the same window got smashed twice. Needless to say I was upset and needing something to go my way. Chai was fast to respond, fast to fix, and affordable. His response, with a quote, came quickly. He was affordable, which considering I had to pay twice in one week, was extremely good news. He came to me in 2 different locations. He came to my work the first time and got it done. The time window he gave me was convenient, and he showed up on time. He fixed the window in great time. He is friendly and confident. After fixing the window he didn't just ask me to pay and leave. He made sure to show me the window worked from all buttons. He also vacuumed up all the glass in my car, which was just nice. I have already shared his name with friends. read more

A busted windshield is never desirable, but Chai makes it easy and affordable! Chai has come out to my house twice in the last year: once to replace the windshield on my car and once to replace the windshield on my husband's truck. Both times he responded immediately to my request for a quote with a fair price and an early appointment. Today, after replacing the windshield on the truck, he generously filled a new spot on my car which will save me from calling him out again soon. That also means less business for him, so I am very grateful! Chai is friendly and works very quickly. My husband came home for lunch to find Chai waiting for him and the job was done before he had to go back to work. I'm assuming the sweet young man helping is Chai's son and I am all about any opportunity to support local, family businesses. Just hit 'request a quote' and Chai will do the rest! read more

Someone or something busted the quarter glass on my Honda CR-V. The back window of my Honda CRV 2011 was broken by a weed wacker hitting some rocks. Shattered it. I called Honda EC for their recommendation and this is the number they gave me. Had a chip on my windshield that I kept putting off again and again. When the weather warmed up, I was afraid the chip might crack further so I looked around for anyone who can help. Most places weren't open due to COVID-19 shutdown so I was getting worried about the chip on my windshield, especially since I was still commuting to work. Thank goodness for Chai. He responded quickly when I reached out and he was able to come by same day to fix my windshield for me so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. He was friendly, efficient, and professional. I would definitely recommend him. What I wouldn't recommend is procrastinating on things that need fixing. Lesson learned. read more

Last Saturday evening, someone in my family attempted to exit our garage with the family minivan's rear hatch still open. Needless to say, Sunday morning, I promptly found myself square in the middle of the Auto Glass replacement market. In looking around, I checked Safelite and a handful of the top "Google" finds. I did several online quotes since most Auto Glass companies seem to be closed on Sundays, but none of these options seemed reasonable after seeing their "first available service" options. The closest service date was the following Thursday -- a full four days wait. Then a friend recommended Chai's Mobile Auto Glass. Not only did he answer his phone on a Sunday, he came to my house the very next day, removed all of the broken glass, and replaced our rear windshield. As good as new, and all at a price that was significantly more competitive than any other quote I'd seen. Chai, Thank you for your outstanding service! You came highly recommended and I see why. Referral business is the best business. I'll be sending people your way for sure! Keep up the great work! read more

My back passenger window was vandalized on a Thursday night in the city. I didn't find it until nearly midnight. The next morning, I Yelp messaged a dozen mobile repair companies that service the Marin area around 7am. Chai responded within 10 mins and was the first person I heard from. He said he could meet me at my office by 10am and offered a reasonable price. After receiving other quotes that morning, Chai's price was midrange. He vacuumed all the glass and installed the new window within an hour. Initially, I had complications rolling up the window. Chai was very responsive and offered to meet me again to check it out. The problem corrected itself so I canceled the follow up visit but it was reassuring to know he was willing to help again if needed. read more
