For those of you who have AAA insurance you get pushed to that big national chain. They were hopeless, never communicated, and after 3 weeks said they couldn't find part. As for Auto Express. Firstly they are approved by AAA insurance so no need to go to big chain. They were super responsive over email and phone. Within a couple of hours of me contacting them, they'd found the part, emailed me back and said it would take a couple of days. We booked for a short time later. Service was quick and flawless. Also as others have said a ton of coffee shops and restaurants all less than 5 mins walk for you to kill the time while they repair. I believe they will also have mobile glass service too. All I can say is believe these reviews of this Mom and Pop Shop, and believe the reviews of the big chain. read more

Despite taking all precautions, and not having anything visible or valuable in my car, it still was broken into late (around 10pm) on a Thursday night. This is my 2nd time I had my windshield replaced. I went to pick-n-pull because it was more affordable. Never again will I go back to pick-n-pull. Improper installation cause water to leak upper left hand corner driver side. It was like this since 2017. I would put electric tape on the exterior during the rainy season which actually helped. Ghetto fixed it lol. After many years of using electric tape and over 20 rock chips it was time to replace my windshield once again. This time I went with a company that knows what they are doing. After reading a few reviews I called Auto Glass Express explained my issue. They gave me quote and the windshield I need was in stock. On my appointment day after windshield was removed they showed where I told them the water would go into my vehicle and it showed no sign of water corrosion. It took about 30 or 40 minutes for new windshield installation. A few day later after the adhesive dried up. My brother held the water hose over where it used to leak while I was inside and no more water leak. Improper installation from the idiots at pick-n-pull all to get quick easy bucks. Ill just say this, its not cheap living in the bay area and when you work a job that doesn't pay a lot. Life can be difficult, and in my case having a family to provide for makes it even harder to deal with the BS criminals seem to have a pass from police to just break into any car they want and never get caught. With my $1000 insurance deductible(speaking of criminals ) I have to pay out of pocket. I had a wheel lock on my car and never would leave even an empty bag in it. So all they did was break my window and scuff up my leather interior. That whole week I tried to find a place that replace it, with no luck, most saying it would be a week or two to get it in stock. But my coworker on Friday luckily found Auto Glass Express who told him they had it in stock and could do it, He gave me the number after work I called and left a voicemail still feeling unsure. Saturday morning I got a call, and a couple hours later this issue was no longer an issue. They gave me some good advice about leaving my back seats down because sometimes they will break into a car to check the trunk. I have to say I haven't been more grateful or impressed by any business as much as I was by them. Want to start with the good aspect. They were very responsive and came in a pinch when I needed a last minute service to fix one of my windows when the company thats through my insurance wouldn't come till over a week to fix my window on my car which was UNaccetable. So reached out to Auto Glass Express to get it fixed and said they would get it done that same day. Was awesome, they were on top of it and I greatly appreciated that. The part that wasn't so great... they didn't take my insurance but assured me that if I sent in my receipt to my insurance and made a claim and followed certain steps that I would be refunded for the services. I was told that almost all their customers that did this and got covered. Long story short, I didn't get refunded and ended up having to pay out of pocket for everything. this is more due to the fact that my insurance didn't come through which is Allstate. Which I have a LOAD of issues with Allstate that I won't get into here. But my issues here, even though I was told that my insurance would cover - didn't happen and I would have rather been told that I probably wouldn't get covered. Another note - if you have Allstate for insurance. I wouldn't use this company. I also changed my insurance coverage to AAA now cause Allstate sucks. read more

Had to have my rear passenger side window replaced after having it smashed in by some bloke in SF. Called this place to get a quote and thought that $200 was reasonable. The receptionist was very kind and easy to talk to when setting the appointment up. Had a their mobile service guy come to my car to do the job, which was really convenient. My only complaint is that he said he'd clean up all the shards of glass but he left some behind both on the seat, which I discovered later by sitting on it, and left some in the rear door itself, which makes me hesitant to roll my window down for fear that it'll scratch up my new window..... read more
