I took my 2018 4Runner to get repaired after I was rear ended. A co-worker of mine and my personal mechanic highly recommended this shop. My initial encounter with Adrianna the receptionist was very professional and answered all my questions over the phone. The day I took my car in I was greeted by Dom and he inspected my vehicle and helped me through the entire process because I was new to this situation. Dom was very straight forward, knowledgeable, and more importantly I knew I was dealing with an honest guy. I trusted them to fix my car and in less than a week I received a call from them saying my car was ready. Wow, i didn't expect my car to be ready so soon. We were out of town and they were nice enough to store my car for a couple more days. I arrived to the shop and I was floored by their work. My car looked brand new again. My vehicle was in an accident and had some front end damage as well as damage to the driver side doors and suspension. Darren & Dom were my contacts and I couldn't have had a better experience! Recently got into a minor accident and live in Sacramento. But I knew where to take my van to since this business took care of me last time. But did call around my area to check availability and every shop was booked out for a month or longer. So I decided to call Darren at Sonoma Auto Center and he stated he was available right away to start working on the van. I brought it over and Dominic got me setup and answered any questions I had. They were very professional and kept me updated throughout the whole process. They were also quick, I got the van back in a week and the van honestly looks better than when I bought it. Attitude is everything. Pleasant people. I was involved in an accident. My insurance company wanted me to go to their contracted company so I tried to. That company refused to do my job for two reasons: 1) My GMC Savanah van was too large for their painting booth. Huh? Only the front needed paint. 2) My GMC van paint already was painting because the factory paint on most GMC vehicles peels. They said they can't guarantee the job? But the hood needed to be replaced. I was getting smogged next door for a truck I was purchasing. Owner came out and offered his services. He broke down what I needed from parts to labor and told me to bring it back whenever I'm ready. Gave me time to shop around and it turns out they were definitely fair priced. And the other shops even missed a few items that Sonoma auto center did not, which is why I came back. Picked up my truck a couple weeks later as I don't live in town, and the truck looks like it just came out of the manufacture factory. Very bad experience, I took one of my vehicles to this shop which was highly recommended by a mechanic I know. I have a electrical issue with the vehicle my mechanic forward me to this shop . Five stars that I'm reading wasn't applied to me. They charge me two hundred dollars for a diagnostic that I don't think they did and claimed they fix the problem. They didn't do nothing but took my money, when I took it back for them to address the issue they tell me to replace the ground battery cable and wanted to charge additional one hundred and thirty five dollars. They also tell me my battery was dead, I told them the battery was a week old, after I left there shop I went back to O'Reillys where I bought the battery they tested and the battery was good. Why didn't they address this issue the first time when I brought the vehicle to your shop? SMH I told them I will pick up my vehicle, the point is I paid two hundred dollars and still have the same issue when I came to this shop. The vehicle has died several times and problem haven't been resolved. These guys seem to work only for there friends a regular customer there taking you for a ride, leave this shop alone there not professional at all. THEY'RE CROOKS read more
