This is the only place I go to service my 200k old LandCruiser. They checked what was needed and didn't try to upsell me. Just straight. Note: as of Dec 2023, they moved to 850 Redwood St. read more

Always excellent customer service from Jerome and team! I've taken all my vehicles there throughout the years even when I did not live in Vallejo! Services included a variety: from oil/filter changes, brakes to major issues from wear/tear, etc! Our go-to mechanic! read more

I brought my car for a break service and it was done so quick and the service was amazing. I now have a good brakes and the brake pedal is way softer. They know what they are doing and I strongly recommend this place read more

I'm the only mechanic of my own 4 cars. I don't trust anybody but myself. But, I'm getting old and tired or no time to fix. My wife & I decided to do a research. "Who should we trust, who's a good mechanic???" We're so glad I met Jerome & the gang (Mario & Lito) they did a good job on fixing and maintaining my cars & prices are reasonable. The name "Precision" that got me. We definitely recommend this Service Center. Sincerely, Julio read more

Great service but knocking a star due to lack of communication. Please hire someone to man your phones. read more

I visited this shop for the first time today. I received exemplary service at Precision Service Center. Jerome was able to give me an estimate of cost for the work I needed done. He was patient and polite. He gave me an explanation of the job and actually showed me what needed to be replaced and why. The job was completed in the time stated. I am extremely impressed with Precision Service Center. I would recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service at reasonable price. I felt comfortable that I was being treated fairly and will not hesitate to return for any further automobile service. read more

The owner and crew working are pretty good and professional. And, I trust bringing my truck for service here.

I've been looking for a best auto shop in Vallejo but I'd always failed. Precision is the best service I've ever had.

Great service at Precision Service Center. I own a 2016 BMW 535i that had a moderate oil leak. The team at Precision was very attentive and explained the process of getting my car fixed. Although the repair took longer than expected (out of their control) I was still satisfied with the communication and work they did. I will be bringing my BMW's back there to get my future servicing completed. read more

Lisa and Jerome, both very professional and top of that very honest. Diagnosed the issue with my van and asked for labor only to fix it, since Jerome gave choice to buy parts from anywhere. The best thing of the service was, both dropped my vehicle at my place after work while going back to their home, even though my place was out of their way. Definitely recommend to my friends and families because of genuineness. Keep it up Jerome. read more

I trust Precision Service. My car is really important to me and I want to be able to have a relationship with the company that helps me take care of it. I can do that here. The owner is intelligent, articulate and personable. read more

Excellent service. Got my brakes replaced after my car began wobbling whenever I braked. They honored the coupon which took off $50. As I am new to town and didn't have anyone to pick me up, the officer manager (owner's wife?) graciously offered to drive me home and pick me up after my car was ready. Great job! Highly recommended! read more

Jerome is very personable when it comes to providing excellent customer service. The biggest thing I appreciate is transparency, and also willingness to thoroughly explain any situation your car is in. They're an honest business and not here to nickel and dime you; but here to show they care about your safety and support. Strongly recommend Precision Service Center! read more

Jerome and Lisa own Precision Service in Vallejo, CA. I've been bringing my 19 year old Honda Accord here three times in the last 2 years. Jerome replaced the engine supports of the V6 awhile back. Lisa dropped me off at the ferry terminal so I could commute to work. I love the customer service! The second time was 2 weeks ago to replace the brake switch because the gear shift would sometimes refuse to shift from Park to Reverse. He replaced that part and even fixed the 3rd break light that hasn't lit for a decade or more. The third time was yesterday to diagnose why the cruise control malfunctioned after the brake switch was replaced. Lisa wrote up an estimate after we left the car in their shop. Jerome phoned 3 hours later to let me know that he resolved the problem and didn't charge me because the brake switch was not compatible with the cruise control. I'm very satisfied with his honesty and repair skills. I recommend his shop to anyone looking to have their cars repaired. Thanks Jerome and Lisa! read more

Precision Service Center - Auto Repair Near Me - Vallejo, California

I had an unplanned need to urgently find a shop in vallejo to take my car. I live in Fairfield and normally use service shops closer to home. However on this particular day that wasn't an option I felt I had. I chose this shop due to good ratings here on Yelp and its location. I wasn't disappointed. They provided clear information on the problem along with several options. The price they quoted for the agreed to job is exactly what I was charged and not a penny more. I have a lot of miles on my car and they provided me with information regarding the state of my engine which I found very useful. They had my car ready to pick up within 24 hours of dropping it off. I will totally go out of my way to use this shop again and would recommend to anyone! Great place. read more

Excellent customer service and pricing! Came here to fix some issues with my supercharged Honda CR-Z, oil change and tire rotation and Jerome did a wonderful job! He even fixed other things that I did not even notice when inspecting the car with him! Best mechanic I have had so far and cleanest shop ever! I drove all the way from Foster City to see him because of the great things I heard about him from a friend. I would recommend him to everyone I know; car enthusiasts and general people! read more

If you're looking for a professional establishment, look no more. I have been here time and time again and have been treated with the utmost service. Jerome is my mechanic and also the owner of Precision Service Center. He specializes in Acura, Honda, Toyota, and Lexus. Every time I bring my 86 Supra in, Jerome knows exactly what to do. He doesn't force sell me any repairs or maintenance and acts quick and assess the problem at hand. Jerome really takes the time to go into detail, piece by piece, with what is problematic with your car. He's a very honest and trustworthy mechanic, as well as very knowledgeable. One time, my car died on me and I had to get it towed. Jerome waited almost 2 hours after his store closed just to wait for my car to get towed to his shop. Even when I felt my car was on its last limbs and was unable to be fixed, Jerome kept me up to date with what exactly was wrong and explained everything to me. He brought my car back to life and I couldn't be more grateful. That shows dedication to his shop and more importantly to his guests. Like I said, look no more, I have found my own personal mechanic and he's great at what he does. If you're not going to Precision Service Center, then you're missing out. read more

I've been through my fair share of mechanics over the years and many know it's difficult finding an honest, trustworthy and knowledgable auto repair shop given the nature of the business. I can now say my search is over. Jerome heads the business here and he is now my go to guy for all the service needs for my vehicles. He really takes the time to explain what's wrong with the car and options for repair being mindful of your budget. He's a really easy going guy and easy to talk to. He performed a timing belt major service and tune up, and full brake service on my Lexus RX300. My car runs like new! Jerome also performed work on my dad's cars and he is thoroughly satisfied. I also referred my GF to Jerome for some major suspension work amongst other regular maintenance items on her Mini and she's more than happy with the results. I now live in Fremont and would not hesitate to take the time to drive to Vallejo for work on my cars. Besides being an honest and knowledgable mechanic, Jerome's prices are very, very (I'll say it again, very) REASONABLE!! read more

I have to say, I'm glad I found this place. I have a 2001 rx300 and 2000 celica, and although they are older cars, I like not having a car payment. I don't want to have to get a new car unless these cost more to fix. With Precision Service Center, I don't think I'll be needing to worry about a new car payment for a long time. I would normally just go through the dealerships for maintenance because a lot of "mom-an-pop" spots just end up costing more in the long run. But I know Jerome has a background in dealership work so I get the best of both worlds. Dealer service with "mom-and-pop" pricing. Now I don't even care abut the mileage because I've found a trustworthy mechanic who cares more about his craft than how much money he can squeeze out of me. If you are in or around the Vallejo area, I would highly recommend Precision Service Center for the maintenance or repair of your car. read more

I've been taking all my cars to Gerome for several years now. The BEST! Always friendly, great service, not just fair priced but always goes above and beyond to provide the quality service you thought you couldn't find anymore. I won't take my cars to anyone else. I trust Gerome. read more

Took my vehicle in same day eventhough he doesn't usually service my make. Very nice staff and super knowledgeable. My service was tricky and took longer than he estimated but the work was well done. No complaints so far! Would definitely reccommend. read more

I needed a fuel pump replacement on my Nissan Versa and I was so glad to have found this place. Jerome and his staff was very professional and the pricing was very fair as opposed to the ridiculous quote I received from the dealership. My car was fixed within a couple of days. Upon picking up my car, Jerome was nice enough to park it on the street for me since I had to pick it up later. He also pointed out other things that needed to be repaired on my car. He even replaced a bulb for me as well. So far I haven't noticed any issues. I highly recommend this place and more than likely will return in the future. read more

Such a great little treasure trove of an auto shop! Super impressed. My husband found this place in search of brake services, and this one popped up with amazing reviews. We decided to give it a shot since Toyota dealership quoted me over $300 for front brake services. Precision Service Center gave my husband and I an awesome deal. Come to find my "Certified" used 2012 Scion IQ car, which I purchased less than year ago, at that same dealership that quoted us over $300 came with after-market brakes. Go figure, another reason to come back sooner than expected. Precision Service Center was able to take my car in, same day service. How awesome! They answered their phone quick, no playing phone tag with voicemails. Going forward, please just go to them. No hassle, no gimmicks. Just genuine, amazing and quality services. They also did something that was totally unexpected in a great way. I'm due for an oil change soon, they checked my oil and put a little more to last me until then. I'm definitely coming back to them for ALL my service needs. Thank you to the staff that helped my little Scion IQ out. My brakes work great! Totally appreciated! read more

A cool local business. I'm very satisfied with the services received by Precision Auto Service. I'm currently having them do restoration work on a Honda. I'll continue to use them for all my Honda needs. Jerome is both a Honda & Acura specialist. He spent a good portion of the day with my car, attention to detail I couldn't likely get elsewhere. Competitive pricing. Nice people too, the best! read more

I've taken my car here twice now and each time Jerome has been awesome. Super friendly and answers all my questions. The last two times, I came last minute and he was flexible and willing to let me come by. He always explained everything and let me know the prices. And he told me what was necessary and what could wait so he didn't just suggest whatever repair. I recommend him to my family and friends and will definitely keep coming back! Great customer service! read more

Jerome takes care of my car needs every time he services it. Very prompt and professional and of course the prices are great.

Just arrived home after my appointment with Precision Service. I needed a door handle replaced on my civic. Precision was the best quoted price and the best reviews. They took my car back promptly and were finished before the allotted time. The manager was kind, professional and got I had zero issues. Glad to have my handle fixed! I will definitely return! read more

I move back up Northern California from Los Angeles 6 month ago. I was afraid to find a mechanic that I could trust but somehow my older sister recommended Jerome and his employees. I was here first time and I only let him do my oil change and now April 05th Thursday 2018 I came back here to have my new KYB Gas Shocks Absorber to put on correctly on my car. Jerome have to order some parts for the shocks but thats okay I rather have Jerome fix it right and making sure that the car is safe to drive it. read more

I took my old Toyota here to get the fuel pump replaced because I didn't want to jack the car up and drop the tank myself. I was pleasantly surprised how cool these guys were and that they weren't shady like every other shop in Vallejo. They were busy so repair took about a day. However, they were very good about communicating and calling me with updates. If you need a reliable place in Vallejo, I definitely would say you are safe here. Thanks guys! read more

Jerome is the best! His work is outstanding and his prices are reasonable. He is friendly, professional and prompt. Highly recommended.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Precision. They have taken great care of our Honda Odyssey, performing emergency repairs on the power steering pump and our 100k maintenance. The service is excellent and I'd highly recommend them! read more

I am very happy that there is finally a shop that I can take our cars too! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The mechanic was meticulous in describing what he is going to do with our cars and explained what needs to be done to have the cars running optimal. All I wanted to do was change my timing belt and water pump for my truck, but Jerome suggested to change some other parts that needed replacing, since he was already working on the area of the other parts. His suggestion was very helpful and not forceful, which gave me the confidence that he actually cares about how the car will run. I've been going back here ever since to service our other cars. read more

We have been going to Jerome for several years now. He takes excellent care of our Honda Civic and Toyota SUV. They are both older cars. He keeps them running like new. read more

If there was a 0 star. I would prefer giving this service center a 0. Jerome does not know how to communicate with his customers. Way over priced and he has temper problems. No patience for his customers what so ever. He ran off all mad like a little girl. Worst service you can possibly get. Don't ever come here read more

I have heard Precision Service Center from my Pastor. I am not used to going to a mechanic other than Toyota dealership. But lately, Toyota dealership is becoming more expensive and I am becoming more skeptical with their service because my car is old (2001 Solara). I went to Jerome to get my car fixed because my car was having a hard time accelerating. Whenever I accelerated, my check engine light started flashing. It was so scary. I talked to him on the phone to see if he can tell me what's wrong with my car. Right then and there, he knew the problem, which gave me a good impression that he is really a good mechanic. When he did the diagnostics, he showed me where the problems were. (I really appreciate a business that helps the customer see the problem and for the customer to be part of troubleshooting). He even showed me the evap tube that was broken maybe accidentally (or not) by the Toyota dealership. He even took the initiative to even dig deeper, another level from the diagnostics and because of that, he even helped me saved money: He recommended me to fix one thing first before changing the more expensive part. He really fixed the source of the problem. My car is 100% working now. And I think because of the changes, my car mileage is now back to where it used to be. But it's not just that. He seems to enjoy fixing cars. He is calm and he gets the job done on time and with ease. Moreover, the place is so close to Seafood city (bunch of Filipino restaurant) and so waiting can be entertaining. Overall, if you need a mechanic you can trust, Precision Service Center is the place to go to. I will be transferring my service now from Toyota dealership to this place. I thank God for opening a reliable and trustworthy mechanic place. I think my car will be my car forever because I now have a good mechanic that can bring my car back to its healthy state. =) I will definitely be referring this place to my coworkers, family, friends or even strangers. =) Thanks for the good service. God bless your business. read more
