Horrible experience and customer service!!! I had a bad misfire on my car and was in American canyon on my drive back to San Jose CA. It was Sunday afternoon and there was no mechanics open except auto fix in the mile radius. I went there and was rudely told they can't help and looked me up and down like I was not allowed there. Bald Philippine guy said go to auto zone down the street. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. read more

Great shop great owner and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend them as an honest And reliable service.

Finally got in!!! Whew, I'm feeling all "Rocky I" here now! DaDaDah, Da Da Ok, nuff said here. (Straighten Up There, Kids)! It was almost surreal, after trying for so long to find that "magic door" thats needed to get in, lol. The reason for my distress was the possibility of needing to having my car towed to a faraway, unknown mechanic, and being held up there. Since they're "it" as far as auto repair goes in American Canyon, and within driving range, if your vehicle can still be driven a few blocks. So we'll still be begging in the streets for them to install that new tranny! The owner seems like a nice guy, he got my Jeep working better than it ever had before ;~} Now I can write a "real review", and say, "Yeah thats right, I've "BEEN THERE".... read more

I'm so happy to support locally own businesses Autofix was above my expectations I've driven by in the past, and they are always busy. As a 1st time customer, I went in on a friday just afternoon without an appt. I found 3 employees, one being the owner in the office, apparently on a lunch break (later to find out they were waiting on part for another customer. My car needed a roof rack & cross bars installed. I had all the parts but not the tools or know how to do myself. Marlowe (the owner) took a look @ my car & parts. Gave me an estimate of $70. Then him & another of his employee worked on my car for an hour while waiting I noticed his rates are $140 an hour. After the job was done, a was presented w/ a bill of only $70! I gave him $100, and will be a returning customer! read more

I am extremely pleased with the shop owner and his staff, always friendly and will bend over backwards to get your vehicle back to you asap! The work is superb, they have worked on my hummer, nissan, and Lexus. Would highly recommend this shop! Extra precautions taken due to covid-19, everyone wears a mask but I can sense the smiles underneath!! Great Job! read more

Autofix - She's old but he makes her feel like a youngsta! - Auto Repair Near Me - American Canyon, California

This place sucks they never answer their phone and it seem like you have to know someone there to get anything done or to answer a call

Just tried to call after hours to see if they were legit. Got a generic auto voice messege not saying who they were and said voice mail full please hang up? This was the # givin in their yelp review. read more

The only auto shop I trust to take my BMWs. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Marlowe!

Marlow and his team have done great work on several of our family's vehicles. Most recently, they repaired 2 of our cars that were not running after sitting for a few years due to other issues that were not addressed as soon as they should have been. This shop has been our go to as they provide the most excellent service we've ever received in a timely manner! read more

Had new shocks and springs installed on my 94 caprice. Quite impressed with the quality and honesty of this shop. read more

New Location American Canyon Auto Fix the owner I believe Marlowe was absolutely the best. I took my car in with literally NO BRAKES due to a botched brake job done and he was so busy yet he fit me in and fixed my car. Prices were reasonable and he treated me like I was a friend not a customer. read more

Honest auto shop around here. They will not up sell you on shit you don't need. They will let you know what is wrong with your car straight up no bull. Both mechanics are well seasoned veterans that worked at various dealerships and acquired skills and experience. I'd recommend this place to family friends and anyone that needs their vehicle serviced. They're not cheap but they are reasonable compared to other independent shops and did I mention excellent workmanship and very professional. You get what you pay for go to a shitty shop you going to get shitty work done to your car go to these guys they'll make sure you're up and running and well worth every penny you spend on repairs or any services done to your vehicle. read more

Marlowe gave me prompt professional communicative service after I being towed in with my very first repair at his shop .

Marlowe was a lifesaver! He just fixed the undercarriage of my car since I ran into a puddle this morning that knocked out a screw or two and the plastic panel started dragging underneath my car after. Definitely will come back here and the price he charged me was a deal! Another great thing is that I live around the corner from there. read more

Marlowe is the best! Quick, reliable and honest. Won't be taking any of my cars anywhere else.

Very impressive people at this business. Came in on an emergency basis after hitting some road debris on our way out to see the wineries of Napa Valley. I told them what had happened and they jumped right on the job and got the car fixed up so we could continue our trip with only a minor delay. Their price to fix the car up was shockingly reasonable. I even tried to buy their lunch as a thank you and they wouldn't take my money. If I lived nearby I'd be coming here for all of my auto work. read more

Came here from an AWFUL experience from Pepboys. I got an oil change over there and by the time they were finished had told me I had $1k+ worth of repairs that were urgent and needed to be done. They honestly made it seem like my car was on the verge of breaking down. I left an honest review over on their Yelp page. I'm just here to say that my dad's been going here for awhile and it was my first time going to AutoFix today. Wow! Such awesome service. He was completely honest and works super quick, He ended up telling me the truth about my car and even brought to my attention what the real problem was. Instead of spending $1k on useless stuff that didn't need to be replaced he fixed only what needed to be fixed and showed me what I needed to look out for in the future with my car. I'll be taking my business to him from now on. read more

The new location in American Canyon is 9 Donaldson Way. Marlowe does honest work and explains things very well. I had a fairly simple job and supplied the parts and he completed the job in hours, instead of days even though he was busy. This will be my new mechanic! Thanks Marlowe. read more

I have a full honda service history on my touring odyssey not until recently when the maintenance minder lit up that I have to take it to the nearest honda service center for some minor job e.g. oil change etc. Next thing I know when I was told my odyssey's front brake rotors and pads needs to be replaced for signs of warping. I said "OK" but for how much? And they gave me a quick quote to a whooping $650.00...I sought second opinion at this local auto mechanic shop upon the recommendation of a friend and he basically agreed that warping on my van's rotors are pretty much imminent. I ask him for a quick quote and to my surprise it is 55% less than that of the dealership. So I had it done and in no time I hit the road 100% satisfied. He replaced it with OEM honda parts much much less than that of the dealership. And another good deal about this is that he gave me a one year warranty on the parts he replaced of which most of these service centers won't tell you. This dude "MAR" for short is awesome. He knows his craft. I am going to have him service all my vehicles from now on. Two thumbs up for him because this is as good as it gets!!!! read more
