    C&C Auto cut the mounts on our brand new radiator and zip tied the entire radiator in. It was not mounted like it should have been.

    I have always taken my vehicles to C&C Auto. I have recommended them to many people. However, after the last service we received. The work they did is completely unacceptable. I thought these guys were professionals, but I guess I was wrong... We have a 1976 Dodge RV that we have been bringing in to C&C Auto. Recently we had them replace our radiator. We purchased a $560.00 Radiator and paid C&C Auto to install it. They installed it for us on Aug 31st and we picked up our RV on September 1st, 2017. Over the weekend the RV was still overheating. (I know now that our RV was overheating due to the smoke we kept seeing coming from the same spot) On September 5th; we decided it was necessary to bring our RV back in to C&C Auto after hearing a pop noise. We wanted to make sure everything was OK before we left for our trip.. As soon as we pulled over we saw smoke. My Fiance and I let Ben know about the pop noise and the smoke. He said he would look into it at the end of the day... so we waited. (Not a problem) When he finally got around to checking the RV he told us that everything looked good, that the radiator was working, nothing was wrong. He said he didn't see any smoke. I asked him about the popping noise and he said he wasn't sure what the pop noise was... We explained to him that we were going to be hitting the road, traveling a long distance so we wanted to make sure everything was OK before we go. He said he completely understood and re-clarified that he didn't know what it could be because everything looks good to him. He even went as far as saying he would drive it if it was him. Who am I to question the mechanic? I am not a mechanic... My fiance and I came to the conclusion that we were just being too paranoid, but man were we wrong... We hit the road September 5th and on September 7th, 2017. While we were on the HWY we started hearing very loud and chaotic noises. Everything happened so fast... All of the sudden we heard a violent bang as coolant splattered all over our windshield. White smoke started spewing out and we had to pull over on the side of the HWY. To make a long story as short as possible, we found a mechanic in Littlerock CA. (R & D Automotive) He asked me if the thermostat was changed when the radiator was replaced. He explained to us that is something that should have been done when the radiator was replaced. I had no idea, so I called Ben at C&C Auto to ask him if by chance he replaced the thermostat. He said no, but told me that if we would have brought it back to C&C Auto that's what he would have checked, so it sounded like we were in good hands... When I got off the phone the mechanic (Pete) at R&D Automotive told us that our radiator blew. Coolant was leaking all over. As he was about to take out the radiator he noticed it wasn't even mounted. The entire radiator was ZIP TIED and not only that the mounts on our brand new radiator were cut off. Pete was able to take the radiator out of our RV with a pair of scissors... He told us that he would be embarrassed to allow us to leave his shop with a zip tied radiator and that you should only do something like that for a temporary fix... He also told us that within 4 months or so the zip ties could end up breaking from the heat. He said the radiator could have eventually fallen out in due time... C & C AUTO THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. And to top of it all off we found out that the motor mounts we also had C&C Auto replace are sagging. It's causing the engine to hang low to the ground and the oil pan is sitting on the cross mount. It shouldn't be... I left a message for Ben and Nathan at C&C Auto and also sent them an email regarding this situation... I told them I would give them the opportunity to rectify the situation with a refund, but obviously they are not going to do that. They didn't call me back. Just goes to show how much they care about customer service. Unfortunately, due to the poor quality work I have no choice, but to contact BAR. I really hope no one else ever has to go though what we did. We purchased another radiator ($600) and we had Pete at R&D Automotive install it. It was the same exact radiator we had before and Pete mounted it on- no zip ties necessary. We also got a new thermostat. Ours was shut closed... something C&C Auto should have noticed/ replaced. 1 star for C&C Auto and 5 stars for PETE at R & D AUTOMOTIVE. We finally made it to our destination all thanks to him... PS: Yes we brought the motor mounts in ourselves, but Ben confirmed they were the right ones... Shouldn't you guys know more than us? Your the mechanic... as for being apprehensive- maybe Nathan YOU felt that way but Ben sure didn't reiterate that.

I had to get my front brakes replaced and the spark plugs also. I provided the parts and it was agreeable with alex. So i stopped by on a Friday morning and he completed all the requests in less than 1.5 hours as quoted. As I said I had the parts, however the brake kit wasn't what I ordered as they were for the rear brakes and not the front. No worries Alex agreed to obtain the the correct parts and the agreed quote changed but all for the better. Alex did a great job on my car. Will start to take my vehicle here often.
