I love this salon. They are always busy, but have enough people working to where you never wait very long, if at all. They do a great job and their prices are very reasonable. They have deals on Wednesdays on manicures and pedicures, so definitely check them out on those days if you are going in for those things. Also, they have some nice tvs to watch during your salon visit and the place is really clean. I have been to a few salons in the area, and this is by far the best that I've come across. Love this place! Lee, the owner is the best. Been going there for years. All the girls are awesome. The DND brand gel polish that they use is the best! They have tons of colors. Where to start? I tried to call to make an appt and they didn't pick up the phone. Showed up and wasn't greeted properly, after a few minutes of standing in there -I got introduced to their system, you have to sign up your name, what you need, and the time you walked in. I sat down and no one showed me where to pick the nail colors, even less where the shellac samples were. I waited and waited for an hour and a half. Workers sneak in their regular customers and waive the waiting list, no shame in their game! Also, while waiting in there I witnessed one of their workers yelled at this elder customer how he couldn't fix his nails in no time, and ended the screaming match with "Comprendo?!". Biggest waste of time, no customer service, awful awful all around. Oh, and the place could definitely need a clean spring! Never again! read more

I've given this salon several chances, but this last one confirms I'm not going back. 1) They told me the wait would be 10minutes, and it ended up being 30minutes. I watched two women come 20 minutes AFTER I did, and get served first because they were having gel nails done, versus my regular "pedi". In my opinion, specialty or not, it's unacceptable to serve customers out of order when you are running a walk-in only business. Everyone should be able to provide the basic nail services! 2) The woman doing my nails was on the phone WHILE she was giving me the pedicure and totally acted like she could have cared less - and my nails showed it! They were crooked, and not shaped at all. 3) The nail polish selection was boring and uninspired. 4) There was virtually no leg or foot massage - so if that's part of pedi's you like, don't count on it here! This place reminds me of a factory... a nail painting factory. Tons of nail technicians so the wait isn't very long but doesn't seem very clean to me. The price is very cheap compared to some of the other salons in the area. They have a decent nail color selection. The woman that did my names was very nice and talkative - which i like! They mostly speak Spanish so it is very easy to communicate with everyone (if you speak Spanish). I was looking for a new place to get my mani/pedi and decided to check this place out after reading the reviews. VN Nails is like any Asian-owned nail salon but they have hispanic women doing the manicures and pedicures which is what i was looking for. They know how to cut your cuticles just right. I did not need an appt and they took me right in because they have about 6-7 ladies that do mani/pedi, maybe more on the weekends, i went on a Wednesday. The price is affordable, mani $ 11 and pedi $22. I think they charge more for French tips but i'm not sure. read more

Save your time, don't come here. I call ahead, still not seen for 45 minutes, schedule an appointment, still not seen til nearly an hour later. They tell you it doesn't matter how long you've been waiting. They'll get to you "eventually" to your face! They have no regard for their customers. They sit you & then talk about you in their native language & laugh at you when you try to speak up about your wait times or when you will be seen. Horrible service. Read other reviews about their work, if you don't find the right nail tech, you will be left with calluses & blood ruptures near your cuticles. They file your skin & barely get the actual nails as they should be & doesn't look like a new paint job. Go elsewhere, literally anywhere else. They lock the doors & ignore those there. It is currently 4:00pm I arrived at 3:02pm & the sign on the door clearly displays their closing time as 6:30 pm. They have a very small selection of essie nailpolishes and no OPIs. I don't like that because I can be very picky. However they have many generic colors. The chairs are comfortable. The ladies that I have had do my mani pedis did their job but I was not amazed. For those who want to compare to other nail salons, their pricing is about the same as nails 4 u in Aventura which has many more essie and opi nailpolish options and which I think gives you more personal attention. I went to VN Nails for my first time tonight as a walk-in after work. I wrote my name down on the list and don't think I even waited 1 minute to be called. There were a lot of people working and it seemed clean. I also thought they had a decent selection of nail polish colors. The lady who took care of me was Grettel. The place is very big with dozens of nail technicians. Lee did my nails and I was immediately mad I hadn't found him earlier. He did an amazing job on my nails, left no cuts and was very quick and precise for $15. They also have a large variety of Essie, opi and other top nail polishes there. The last couple times that I've been in here, I haven't been happy with the results of my mani/pedi. It's really dependent on who your nail tech is. Additionally, they are no longer accepting tips on your credit card. A deal breaker for me, as I tend to believe this is just a way to avoid paying taxes. VN Nails is definitely my go to place for mani/pedis. I've been a loyal customer for over 8 years now. The place is always spotless, staff is professional and the service is always top notch. Due to a busy schedule, I find myself squeezing in a mani/pedi at any given moment. The salon has a walk-in policy and the wait is minimal (if any). The staff is courteous and professional. Spa chairs/equipment, technician appearance and products are clear indicator of the quality service they provide. In eight years, I've yet to be disappointed by either staff or the service provided. They were closed the other day and I desparetely needed a fill, so I got on Yelp and found this place. WOW. Night and day difference. My nails are neat, beautiful, and exactly what I asked for! After reading the positive review on yelp, I decided to give VN Nails a try. This is not a fancy spa/salon, but just your typical nail shop (which is what I was looking for). I went yesterday and it was great. There were plenty of staff so an appointment was not necessary. I had a mani and pedi - both for $32.00. I was very impressed and they did a great job. The pedi chairs are soooo comfy and have the massage-feature built in. If you want Essie or OPI nail polish - bring your own as they only offer 'other' brands. Or they sell the Essie for $5.00 each. VN Nails is located in the same center as CVS and there is plenty of free parking in the lot. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get a good mani/pedi at a reasonable cost. read more

I've been to a variety of nail salons and this one is one of my to go places. Their prices are reasonable, there barely is a wait time, and they have a friendly staff. The also have good hygiene procedures which are hard to find in places with lower prices but this place becomes the exception. They provide cleanliness. as i've mentioned in other review, i am new to miami having just moved here from nyc. my beloved nyc, the land of the $20 mani-pedi's. i was so disappointed to see the prices (and the condition) of some of the nail salons down here. i was NOT impressed. i am in love with gel mani's and had been doing gel manicures and regular pedicures in manhattan for $45. after moving here i was paying $65+ for gel mani's that left my nails feeling sticky, messy and peeling within days. not to mention terrible service (i will review these later...) i found VN nails on my own. not quite sure how but i am so glad i did. they actually have a parking lot!!!!!! i cannot stand the salons that have meter or garage parking. no, no, no! i have heard people complain about waiting. i usually go on a thursday or friday after work or a saturday afternoon and i have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. most importantly the salon is super clean and i really mean that. it's pristine. the owner's lily and lee are two of the nicest people i have ever met. they are simply genuine people who are so knowledgeable about their business and dedicated to customer satisfaction. i have seen lee re-do a woman's manicure himself after asking to see her hands before she left the salon. there were some imperfections, maybe the bottle of nail polish was bad? regardless, lee wouldn't let the woman leave without fixing the problem. i've always left pleased with my pedicure. they do a great job. now on to the gel manicure... VN only uses the gel brand called gelish. i have tried them all (axxium and shellac) and gelish is my fave. granted the colors aren't as great as opi axxium but gelish seems more gentle on my nails and lasts longer than shellac. i love when lily or linette do my gel manicure. they are so fast and i am never left with sticky nails. for whatever reason my gels last the longest when they do them. their UV machines for gel are great, you are never left with both hands idle in the machine. it is so quick that when one hand is drying, the other one is getting polished and then you switch. love this because sitting at the drying station watching the clock is the worst. and finally the price of a gel mani and regular pedicure is $45-$50 (i can't remember). at last i have found a place that price matches my nyc go-to salon. my only complaint is their eyebrow waxing. i got mine done there once and was not happy. i will stick with the mani pedi's from now on. I been visited this salon for many years and most of the time I feel uncomfortable for many reasons. I started to think that it happens because I am a tough cookie , but considering the rates I read in this web I know I have the reason. My rate is based in the poor customer services of the manicurist which talk all the time about their personal problems, they talk by the phone while they are using the fingernail scissors, and the show no respect for customers. I think this girls need to learn about professional ethic and business. Today I went there early in the morning and many tech were preparing their work instruments, so I approach a lady to ask if she can do my nail, but she said" No, because I have to prepare this first" "if you want me to do it, you have to wait until I finished to prepare this"I was astonished of her response considering that this place is for walk in people which means that appointment is not need it and thats the reason most people go there, because we are hurry or we have short time to visit that place! then I asked the group of ladies that was talking and doing nothing, who can do my nails, but no one pay attention to me, and one of them named Anabel started to argue with me (in Spanish) finally, one of then did my gel manicure with a bad acttitude. I accepted to do my nails, because i planed my time for my nails at that moment, but I felt really uncomfortable during mine stay there. I consider and I believe that customer have the reason, because we pay for services, so.... how can we pay for be treated bad? Today was my last day in this place. Please be aware of this. Ok so here it is ! I have been going to this place since i was 15. By far the best place i have ever been to. I only do my acrylics with Lee but thats just my preference. I rather wait for him because i know i love the outcome. Really fast service and everyone is friendly. Only do my toes with Tamy and she is very good. I feel like family when i visit. Great nail service! My mom and I have been going to Lee (the owner) for 16.5 years now, when they first started in the Roads. Then, they moved to this location and have expanded with time. They have excellent service and they are fast as well. My favorite nail tech is Blanca (she has been there since day one). She takes her time with you and gives you the best mani and pedi.
