I've been here an hour. I'm sitting here with all my nails cut uneven and polish still not on my hands. This is by far the worst nail place I have ever been too. There are 10 ladies no working. read more

The tech I had was precise, paying attention to detail. BUT not a friendly employee in the whole place. I noticed a license or more were expired. The place was dirty. She did not clean up equipment after use. All tools were taken from dirty cup full of dirty previous used tools. Not sure how the state hasn't closed them down. No massage at all, I have always received a short massage with manicures and pedicures not at VN in Miami on Coral Way. read more

Manicurist was watching a movie on her phone during service and clearly was distracted. Not one nail is fully painted and frankly looks worse than if I did it myself at home. Pedicure is the same. This place is very hit or miss depending on who you get and how rushed they are. I went yesterday during the day during the week when they were not busy but still had this result. read more

It's nice to have a spot where you can walk in and get service in a reasonable amount of time. Lots of manicurists.

Writing this review as a reminder to myself not to go back. Before the pandemic I occasionally would go to this place for a quick mani pedi as it was in a convenient shopping center with my cvs and ups store. I was never impressed with the quality and you couldn't count on the wait not being long for walkins so I would never choose this place for special occasions or anything. Cut to yesterday when I was in the area and my nails were in the need of attention and I had a spare hour. I figured I would give it another try. I was super unimpressed with their polish selection. They had barely any pinks on the wall! And when the lady gave me my manicure she ripped off a chunk of my cuticle. Ouch! Shame on my for not saying anything but when I get manicures I become like Ariel and lose my voice often. Not sure how long my nails will last. It cost 45 dollars so it wasn't even a bargain to get maimed. So note to self, do not go back, no matter how convenient it seems. Not worth it. read more

VN Nails - My cuticle they butchered - Nail Salons Near Me - Miami, Florida

No estuvo bien. read more

He's super nice and very attentive and a perfectionist. My mom has been coming here for about 15 years and she's never had a problem either. I usually have my go to lady's but when they aren't available I wait for the next one and ive never been disappointed. Everyone here is super nice and they all do an amazing job. WORST place ever to get your nails done! The lady (whose name I sadly don't know) that did my nails seemed as if she was in a hurry so she left my nails all bumpy and with like tiny hairs from the towel she was using to dry them, she also didn't file them good and left some uneven. She also put on some "calcium" on my nails that I did NOT ask for and then informed me that it was extra money ?? But my only question is, if you're in a hurry, why sit with a costumer ?? I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. HORRIBLE experience with this lady and the owner only cares about the money and not his costumers. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE! While I was in the chair during the pedicure, the lady took 15 minutes gossiping with her friend before she started. I politely asked her how long she would take on the nails, and she said "how long do you have?". Then, assuming I didn't speak Spanish, she started calling me a "perra" (bitch) to the nail technician next to her. I was appalled. Once she started, she yelled at me to put my feet off the towel. So I did. And then she told me to put them back on the towel. So I did. Then, she smacked my legs off the towel and told me to keep my feet off. She continued to tell her friend that I was an idiotic bitch in Spanish. After only 7 minutes, she's done painting my nails and they look horrible. I'm so done with the place at this point that I don't care and move onto the manicure. During the manicure, she cuts my cuticles and 3 of them start to bleed. The entire manicure she isn't even looking at my nails!!! She's talking to her friends! When she filed my nails, I thought my nails would catch on fire cause of how fast and rough she was going. While I had my hands in the water, she yelled at me to stop moving the hand that was in the water cause if not nothing would hydrate???? My nails came out so crooked and awful. $17 was not worth it. I should've bought a nice $14 nail polish and done it myself. At one point, the ladies were yelling their asses off about random stuff. Yelling to the point that my head was about to burst. One guy was creepy as hell and flirting with a younger girl. Everyone yelling and playing tik toks to each other at maximum volume. I've never disliked a nail salon more in my entire life. read more

VN Nails - Bad polish change job - Nail Salons Near Me - Miami, Florida

Been going here for many years. Never a long wait. Fast service and many colors / services available.

If you want your nails done, find somewhere else. You will have to put your name on a list, then wait and wait and wait. They will pick their favorite clients first and you will wait. The nail techs that do acrylic/gel are impersonal, rude and seem annoyed while working. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere. read more

This place is so nasty. It's filthy, the nail technicians are rude. The owner is not polite. They make you write your name down on a clip board and then the technicians look at it and selectively pick who they want to work on next. So you may be next, but you really aren't next. They make you feel like you are bothering them just by being there. I do not recommend this place, no matter how inexpensive their fills are. read more

I was treated very rudely here yesterday. Also, after one day (not even 24 hours), my nails are peeling and my toes are rough! When I walked in, the manager called a nail tech over to me; she was awfully nice-- until I told her I wanted a "regular mani-pedi " ($45). She scowled and said most people got gels or acrylics (more expensive). The entire session with her was painful and very uncomfortable due to her really bad attitude. read more

This is my first time in this place. I was worried because of the reviews I read in here, however I wanted to give it a try as it was the closest nail spa to where I was. I had no appointment, so I had to write my name on a list and waited for close to 10 minutes before Yeny called my name. OMG! I've been trying different places looking for a good manicurist and I think I just found her. My nails are always super short and shapeless, because they are constantly breaking. I wish I had a before picture so you could see what I am talking about. For now, I'm just leaving this picture so you could appreciate the neat job she did. My personal experience was great and even though I have paid more in other places, I've learn that it's never about pricing. This $60 were very well deserved. PS: make sure to take some cash to tip the technicians. Another client was the one who told me That I could run to the CVS next door to get some cash from their ATM. I had to do it because Yeny did an amazing job. read more

VN Nails - Mani Gel - Regular Pedi - Nail Salons Near Me - Miami, Florida

I love the atmosphere almost everyone here speaks English and Spanish, 90% of the manicurist are Cuban ladies so... you really can have fun listen what they talk between them Nice and gentle staff I've been here at least 3 times in my life they offer a dedicated pedi & mani that includes "working" spa chairs while they do your pedi. Water, coffee are complementary. Plenty variety of colors and brands of nail polish Parking is big plus in this location because the shopping center where it's located have plenty parking spots. They don't do appointments you have to go a sign in their list at the entrance. The wait is never more than 30min so don't worry about it. The fastest ladies can make your perfect done gel mani and regular pedicure in just 55 minutes! read more

All the bad reviews on here are absolutely accurate. Like one of the other reviews says, this is more about convenience than quality. I came here with my sister as we were having a girls day and from the get this was a bad experience. First, I asked if we could sit together for the pedi... "cant, too busy" 80% of the chairs were empty. Secondly, absolutely 0% customer service. My nail tech was on the phone with her sister the whole time trying to figure out their phone plan. Third, our nails look like shit. My gel manicure chipped the next day and the day after that half of my nail peeled off. One of my sister's acrylic nails fell off the next day and within 3 days three of her nails had come off. Where in the world have you heard of these tough ass acrylics, literally falling off the nail, they were bumpy af and uneven. LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT COMPLAINT!!!!!!!!! The male Asian nail tech named Danny/Dani is a predator. Since only the Asian people are able to do acrylics, my 16 year old underaged sister sat with him. After we left she told me how he continued to make sexual innuendos and jokes knowing she was underaged. He continued making her uncomfortable with all the extremely personal questions he was asking. Even the nail techs themselves get verbally sexually abused by this man because I witnessed it. SMH !! Someone like that should not be working at a nail salon. read more

Amazing lovely people great services. These nails always last me so long and are very well done. Fair prices as well

Flew in straight from Chicago to Miami on 1/9 and had time to kill since we couldn't check into our air b n b until 3pm. Googled a quick nail place and found this one ! They did a great job! I was reluctant at first due to some negative reviews but I had to pick a place quick. So I went around 11:30-12pm and it was not busy at all and they did an excellent job! $50 for no chip manicure and regular pedicure! (Same price as Chicago would charge). GO HERE :) (P.s: if you like the color on my nails it's : OPI- getting nadi on my honeymoon) read more

Located off coral way in the shopping center with CVS, VN nails is a decent place to have your nails done. It's not the best but its not the worst either. And depending on who your tech is will determine the quality of your mani. Trust me, I have learned the hard way. But for 35$ you can get both a regular manicure and pedicure. 30$ Monday-Wednesday, thats tough to beat. Upon entering write your name on the clip board, pick out a color and take a seat. And one more thing, bring cash for tip! You cannot add tip to the card. Pros: Free parking 30$ mani/pedi M-W (35$ Th-S) Massage chairs during pedi They also do gels and designs Claudia is my favorite! Cons: Long wait especially during peak hours Some Techs better than others Can't add tip on card read more

Nail fungus again! In spite of insisting to please use a new nail file. Request ignored. No use sterilizing metal instruments and reusing the same nail file used on others. Also, lady almost put on used toe spacers. Lastly, why wrap feet in fabric softener soaked warm towels? Just warm towels is fine. Do they realize how harmful is fabric softener ? Don't trust me... look it up. read more

Like any other salon, you have to find the manicurist that works best for you. I absolutely love Carolina and the work she does on my nails. Cleans me up real well, no cuts, her gel manis last me a month, and she's works with me when we do fun designs. The prices are fair, they are clean, and parking is not an issue. It's not a fancy place by any means, but nice enough to get the job done. I'm giving this place 4 stars b/c 1) you can't leave tip on the card so I make a purchase next door at CVS and take out cash and 2) you can't make appointments. Still, I wait for Carolina when I go b/c I like her work that much. read more

I don't even know where to begin so I'll start with this- I am Cuban myself BUT!!!! The women who work here are the most disrespectful low class beings EVER!!!! They thought I didn't speak Spanish (little did they know it's my first language) and spent the entire time I was at the salon talking trash about every customer !! The Asian man who sits on the first chair did my dip powder mani and the woman who did my pedi, LEIDY, grabbed by hands and smiled and said they were hideous TO MY FACE! She then called him stupid !! What kind of work place is this ???? read more

Expensive and most techs are sub par. Yusneli is slow and works terrible. Location is good and convenient. Lots of parking.

This used to be my go to salon and now its not. Gel pedicure is the only thing that will last and be worth it depending on who does it. I would only recommend men to go for a basic mani n pedi because that is the only thing that's worth it because only clear polish is involved. Anything else.. dont waste your time. I've gotten acrylic and the shaping was horrible. Gel polish does not last as long as it should. It will either be too thick and the polish will come off whole or its too thin and the polish will start chipping. My acrylic set was supposed to be almond and it looked round to be honest. Then i recently did dip (the pictures), with a gel top coat, which usually lasts 3 weeks, and it was a complete fail. I really used to love VN nails but it is very overpriced for bad quality work.... If you're a guy this is the place for you. Any one that wants dip, acrylic, or gel polish, dont waste your time. read more

Today we had a family gathering and my 12 year old daughter shared her experience she had here. This happened a few months ago, but I feel that I have to say something. I'm blessed to have a strong daughter, who is confident in herself. Her story is as follows: Girls had no school, so another parent took the girls to do their nails here. The nail tech thought my daughter didn't speak or understand Spanish and told the other nail technician that my daughter has real hairy arms. My daughter didn't say anything and couldn't believe how rude those ladies were. I'm furious, find it so low class & appalling! These women should know better! I guess going to a cheap nail salon, you get such customer service. NEVER AGAIN! read more

People here don't respect the customer, the talk about the others customer when they left, the service is ok, this is the 12 time I come here, and this is going to be the last, this women's do not have any education, the treat you horrible, the worst service ever! read more

I have been looking for a nail salon in the Coconut Grove, Gables area for several years. This is without question the best I have encountered. I do only get a pedicure with regular polish, so I can't comment on other services. The pedicure is perfect, neat and professional. No extra money to remove calluses. before i start, i want to make sure anyone considering going here reads this, THIS SALON USES MMA!!! when i got my nails done for prom (acrylic), they were a last minute decisions so i had to go with a walk in salon. upon being cut multiple times, being trash talked, having an extremely rude woman for my pedicure, etc. i had a feeling that i was not welcome in that salon at all. a few weeks later i tried taking them off myself with acetone and low and behold, the acrylic powder became goopy and was almost impossible to take off. there were also rings of fire on my nail beds. that set damaged my nails BEYOND belief and my nails haven't grown back properly since and are now thin and brittle. DO NOT GO HERE!! THE USE OF MMA IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. read more

I have been going here for years, because it's inexpensive, relatively quick, and easy for walk ins. Some of the employees are very good, and diligent, but some are not. I'm leaving a 1 Star review because I went this week and the employee cut my cuticle, and handled it so poorly - no apology, ignored it until I asked her to put alcohol on it even though it was clearly bleeding, and she went on to put a blue liquid stypic "stop bleeding" drop on the cut and she touched the tip of the dropper to the cut - totally unsanitary. She should have been trained properly on how to handle this situation. Two days later and I still have blood caked on the nail bed. I'd rather spend my money somewhere that knows how to properly handle cuticles (and cuts, should they happen) read more
