Came here for a facial via a Groupon and the place is pretty nice. Tucked away in one of those little plazas off of Commodore Plaza, the facility had a nice spa feel to it -- clean with marble and beige accents. The owner also had her assistant wear this cute white old school nurse-type outfit, which was sort of adorable. The owner, Silviana, does the facials herself in a little room dotted with her certifications. And she does a pretty good job. My only issue with her is that she talks too much about her personal life and clients, which to me, is kind of turn off. Maybe she was trying to be personable, but I found it slightly unprofessional to divulge so much to a new client. She was telling me a funny story about another client, kind of poking fun at her a little bit -- not terribly or being catty or mean -- but it was TMI for me. If I had gone a few more times and then she opened up, fine, but on the first visit, I don't know, I found that odd. She also likes to push products and maybe they're awesome products and I get that a gal's gotta hustle, but, I don't know... Good facial though! No complaints there! read more

I have been coming here for about 4 months and I love it! I come here for both my facials and for my eyelash extensions. I discovered this place when the girl who normally does my eyelashes cancelled last minute and I needed to make a same day appointment. Unlike other salons, Sylviana took pity on me and squeezed me in with her technician Jen. Wow! My eyelashes have never looked better. The owner Sylviana's does all the facials personally and she is amazing. She is so sweet and friendly, and very concerned about the customers experience. She makes recommendations on the treatment you should do based on your skin. I have personally suffered from horrible acne for several years. However, in less than 3 months with Sylvi, I can now go out without any coverup and the tone and texture of my skin is wonderful. I no longer suffer from the horrible acne cysts I had either. Sylvi is constantly increasing the variety of treatments she offers by purchasing new machines. Her line of skin care and make up products are wonderful. Sylvi stands by all of her procedure and products because she does not seek or try anything she hasn't percentile used on herself. Every recommendation she has made to me has been wonderful. I cannot live without the facial cleanser or mascara she has turned me on to. The best part for people who are busy is that she is open late (and early) and has hours on Saturday. I have tried several place in Miami and Sylviana's is by far the best. Anyone who really cares about the quality of their skin care should really give Sylviana's a try. read more

The staff is super professional and very detailed. My pedicures last close to a whole month and my manicures well over a week. I also highly recommend the facials and eyebrow shaping! I have problematic skin and at Silvianas it's taken care of perfectly. I received a gift from groupon for a manicure and pedicure... However, this place is more popular for their facials. I decided last minute to put the gift to use. The spa is not easily viewed from the street and to be honest I don't think I would ever see this place if it weren't for searching for the address. (The owner should really put a visable sign on the street). It is very small with only 2 rooms for facials, lashes, waxing, etc. The manicures and pedicures are performed outside in the waiting area with only one nail desk and one foot chair. The place was very clean. My pedicure came out good but I wish I could say the same for my hands. Also, they do not offer shellac or gellish. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to getting work done on me and at Silviana's Day Spa all my expectations are filled every single time! The place is calming, luxurious and SPOTLESS. I always walk in with a warm welcome from the owner, Silva and her staff followed by a cup of coffee in their hand. I've been coming for a little over 2 years and I can't go to anyone else for my facials because of my dry, sensitive skin. Silva formulates the type of facials based on my skin type and uses amazing professional products that are also very light to wear. 10/10 I also get my lash extensions done at Silviana's shortly after I saw her work on someone else. I was always skeptical about extensions because I had never done them before but seeing how well crafted and natural they look, it wasn't too long til I started getting them done myself! She uses products that not only work well but look uh-mazing on my eyes. I kid you not, I get compliments everywhere I go.. and she also makes them however I want! I rarely use make up now. Lastly, the mani/pedi experience is spot on and very relaxing. Just what I need after a long day of running around or working is a soothing place like this. Service is great. Hospitality is great. Silviana's is amazing. Quaint clean and beautiful. Friendly and sweet staff and very knowledgable. She does a wonderful facial and really knows her products, and which to recommend for skin types. She also does an incredible job on lash extensions, and is diligent and thorough to make sure they look natural on your specific eye shape, but full enough so it looks like you have mascara on all the time! Silvianas is an amazing find in a city filled with "spa" services who do little more than a quick buff and a lot of lotion and often seem to cater to tourist who don't return. She is an expert at understanding your skin and helping correct the imperfections. She is very conscious when she recommends a treatment about it not being about sales of services or product, but about solving the issues. Super convenient location across from the Mayfair hotel, there is plenty of street parking and the large garage at the Mayfair shops or CocoWalk. I used to be an occasional user of facials but she has reformed my skin enough so that even my dermatologist noticed! I will no longer let anyone else do my facials. read more

Best facial and mani / pedi in Miami! I have been a loyal customer since 2007 and I love this place. Silviana is very professional and has a lot of experience with skin care. This is not your typical spa facial, where all they do is massage your face, it's quite the opposite. Silviana really cleans your face and makes sure you leave with beautiful/ glowing skin. Jendry, the manicure and pedicure specialist is also very professional. I have never been to a spa where my hands and feet look so perfect after a mani/pedi! Dear Future Silviana's Customers, If you are wise, you will heed my advice: Silviana's is, hands down, the most professional, effective, knowledgeable, experienced, soothing, high quality, and customer friendly spa that I have EVER, EVER been to. I had no idea such a place existed. Wholeheartedly, my skin and nails have NEVER looked so good, or been as healthy. I pinch myself after every visit with Silva and Jen: am I dreaming? The extent of the bliss is THAT intense, THAT real. After I pinch myself, I wonder how I was so fortunate to happen upon not only a beautiful, elegant, spotless, calming venue, but two genuine (rare in Miami), uplifting, caring, attentive, experts who have restored my faith in my skin and my extremities. Jen and Silva grace me with the utmost expertise, sparkle, cheer, and respect that I have ever experienced by a service, especially in the spa world. My skin and nails have been in turmoil for years, because I was not treating them properly. I thought that I was taking top-notch care of my skin and mitigating the unsightly appearance of my runner's feet and overly dry and bitten cuticles. However, my skin continued to break out, remain red and inflamed, dry, yet acne prone. My nails and heals still irritated me. I found Silva and Jen three months ago, as a result of an intense google search. I am new to Miami, a Guinot product user, and extremely conscience of cleanliness and positive environments. As mentioned above, I walked into this oasis, and left glowing from the inside out and the outside in. Silva has taught me more about skincare and what my skin needs in the last 3 months than I have "learned" in over 15 years. My skin, my face, was glowing like it has never before, my nails were impeccably painted, trimmed, and shaped. Both Jen and Silva informed me of my options, treatments, and recommendations. Before executing any step, both asked me what I preferred. Wow! We visit spas to improve our appearances, boost the health of our skin and nails, but also seeking a long-term treatment plan/regimen. How many times have you left the spa with clearer skin for only a day with a new (most likely pricey) product in hand that does not change/help the condition of your skin on a daily basis, or worse yet, causes further damage? Why does this happen? Most likely this is not a result of esthetician maliciousness, but rather inexperience, ignorance, and lack of attention and recognition of your skin/nails specific presentations, symptoms, and needs. Why risk allocating money to an unsettling, ineffective, potentially dangerous endeavor? Good news! Your worries are over! Your questions about the best product and treatment for your skin will soon be answered by Silva! The vision in your mind (maybe your dreams, if you've had persistent skin issues like I have) of what your ideal complexion would be, if only, you had better skin, is within your reach, able to be your reality, while under Silva's care, nurture, advice, instruction, and almost magical touch. (I am 30-years-old and have been going to spa's since I was in 7th grade. Tokyo, Seoul, Munich, NYC, Washington D.C., Seattle, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Atlanta, Baltimore, Albany, Palm Beach, Naples, San Antonio, the list continues...) Have you ever contracted a fungal infection from a manicure and/or pedicure? Have you not been asked if you would like your cuticles cut or just pushed back? Have you ever had someone take the cheese grating tool (forgive me, I do not know the technical term for this item) to your heels while you were deeply entrenched in a book/magazine? Worst of all, have you had developed a MRSA infection from a so-called esthetician who had no idea what he/she was doing? (The MRSA infection sent me to four different doctors and a month of two brutally strong and unforgiving treatments of antibiotics. Not to mention the malaise.) Silvia shapes brows to perfection. Before seeing her two years ago, I used to get my eyebrows threaded in the Gables, and my brows were always uneven. With Silvia, I never have to worry about whether my brows will turnout too thin or uneven. Also, her nail tech, Gentry, gives a wonderful manicure and pedicure, and if you're uncertain about a color choice she does a great job picking ones that look good with your skin tone. read more

This place is amazing! I have been going to Silva for years and I only allow her to touch my face. Her spa is very private; she does one person at a time and you really feel special. I hate going to impersonal nail spas or places where they just mass produce everything. Here there is peace and quite, everything is spotless and detailed, and the work speaks volumes. The manicure and pedicures are so relaxing and the chair is top of the line; I love the chairs that give great massages not just the cheap vibrating ones that are broken half of the time. Some times you go to places where you aren't too sure what experience the person has in what services they are performing and that's why Silva has a wall with all of her certifications that makes me feel at ease. Your face is the first thing someone sees when they meet you and the last thing any one wants is a freak accident, which has happened to me in the past, so here I have NEVER had a problem and I feel that my face has improved over the years (I suffered from acne) because of her facials and treatments. When you walk in to a salon/spa on a Saturday for a mani&pedi and it's empty, that should say something about the place. I'm sure there's a huge overhead at this address. I don't mind paying for luxury and ambiance...but this is a hole in the wall, not The Four Seasons, Ritz or Mandarin Spa - actually, my services at these hotels cost me less than at this place. $80 for a walk in mani/pedi...are u kidding me?!! And yes, I agree with Elyse about the talking...and if a business owner isn't busy, then they should make hemselves look busy. I left feeling drained and my mani peeled off that same night. Essie and Epi polishes they had were dried out and color selection very limited. To survive in the industry, the owner should consider doing some local market research. Especially in this economy. It's true, women are less likely to skip on these type of services but I know where people go for half the price and the work lasts a month (and that's with a $10 tip). I give this place zero stars. Besides...what's a salon with no clients on a weekend day--- weird....really odd. read more
