I've gotten several lash lifts in the past, both from small salons, and well-known lash and eyebrow studios in Miami. Usually, the effect has been minimal at best and often didn't work at all, but this experience beat them ALL. Atenea is super friendly and kind and really takes her time to understand your eyebrows and how they fit your face and eyes. Booking an appointment was super easy and fast by following the directions on her Instagram. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and she was ready for me right on time. Her room is super clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. She took the time to ask me how I like my eyebrows and then started to first map them out using some sort of nude pencil, then the magic started. I walked out of there feeling amazing. This was 6 years ago and I still keep coming back to her. I recently even tried a brow lamination and what a DIFFERENCE it makes. I really like Atenea, she is truly a professional and super passionate about her job. I highly recommend her for anything to do with eyebrows. I live in Seattle now, and every time I fly to Miami (4-6 times a year) I go to do my eyebrows with her. I refuse to let anyone else touch them. Halfway thru the 1st nite, it started pouring & we were alll the way on the other side of the festival ... aka far away from the one covered area. We put on these flimsy, cheap ass ponchos we brought with us & ran. I literally had rain running down my face & I was getting soaked thru the damn poncho. In my head, I was imagining my face streaked with makeup. Once we were out of the rain I asked my sister for a hair & makeup update: she was like 'you look pristine, not a hair or eyelash out of place'. BRO. My hair & makeup did not budge THE.ENTIRE.NITE.!!!!! We got back to the telly at 4am & I looked just as good as when we left at 8pm. I love supporting local entrepreneurs & especially young ones that are carving out a name for themselves. What makes Naty so special (besides her raw talent) is that she's poised, patient, precise, creative, & professional. She listens to you, but makes gentle suggestions to steer you in the right creative direction. I have loved collaborating with her on our looks & she never disappoints. I'd previously gotten a handful of spray tans and had most recently been visiting Sugared & Bronzed, but tired of looking like an Oompa Loompa. I was thrilled to have found Ellie.
