Also, personnel turn-around way too often not informing your clients there's a change until you arrive thinking it's with the person whom you booked service with. I doubt the owner/manager cares, but this salon has lost me as a customer…read more I had an appointment scheduled and arrived about 15 minutes late, which I completely own. When I arrived, I was told they were short-staffed, assumed I wasn't coming, and gave my appointment to someone else. The other person wasn't even there yet, the salon wasn't busy, and I was literally in the shop... however he no interest in figuring out my appointment. I may have waited or came back if he seemed interested in figuring out solution, but he didn't, in addition to this was really his second strike in mishandling me as customer. On a previous visit, I got a gel manicure and pedicure before a trip, and my nails started peeling less than an hour after leaving. I called immediately and was told by the same guy, I could get them redone for free when I returned from my trip. I was gone for three weeks, and when I came back, that was no longer honored because "I should have came back sooner" - even though I had specifically been told to come back when I returned. I continued coming because Phen is an absolute sweetheart and I adore her (she wasn't the one who did my peeling manicure btw). Unfortunately, between these two experiences, I'm done. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect good customer service and for people to honor what they say.

Unsanitary service 4. Disrespectful treatment 5. $113 BEFORE TIPPING I came as a walk in at 2:30pm for a GelX manicure and regular pedicure and ended up leaving at 5pm. Halfway through my manicure my stylist mentioned that I would be switched to someone else because she had an appointment. I didn't mind this, as I was a walk in and know that appointments should be prioritized. When i showed my new stylist the reference photo she seemed prepared. She first motioned to do the wrong design on one of my nails; but mistakes happen and i caught it before anything could be done. My design required one french tip and I asked her to retouch/redo 3 times due to unfinished/crooked lines. Then came the stripped part of the design, 3 lines on my pinky that took 20-30 minutes to look DECENT. When trying to do those 3 lines I asked if there was someone else more fit for designs and that I would be okay waiting, she didn't pay any mind to my request and kept trying. After some more attempts I asked her to take off the stripe and told her that I would find somewhere else to do it. At this point, who i think is the owner came over and handed her another tool after they exchanged some words. The same issues happened, uneven lines, some even diagonal. Then she proceeds to pluck a HAIR FROM HER HEAD to try to do the line as she giggles, I was sooo taken aback at this point and had spoken up SO MANY times that I was speechless. My index nail was also placed on crooked so when I mentioned to her that the lines were diagonal she stated that my nail was crooked. 1. My fake nail was placed crooked and 2. even if my nail is crooked, your line should be straight! Again, I told her to wipe everything off and said I would go somewhere else. After she finally let me go, the owner asked if I wanted her to try and I said "that is what i have been asking for since this began". Finally they were good enough and I left after paying $113 for all that I had just gone through. just don't come here.

I gave her another chance because when my lady came back the gel nail polish she applied on her return kept chipping days later- I assumed it was her application of the product that was the issue- so I went back to the lady that helped me while she was on leave- bad idea cause the same moisture issue happened again but worse! The vibe: 1 nail lady literally fell off of her chair today, and it's happened before with another (get new employee chairs) Coffee machine is broken - everyone is kind but some technicians need expert training on nail care and the manager is absent and unresponsive. You'd think they'd wave the gel x removal to care for my nails that they damaged but no I was charged- I even left a 10% tip goodbye... my regular mani pedi is bad too cause toe nails were cut uneven and left sharp (had to fix it myself) but she did ok on the cuticles.. The excuse: I waited 4 weeks/ which I asked if that would be ok on my last appt and I was told yes because I keep my nails short and cut square with rounded corners - I work a lot so time is money for me- what hurts is not the cost of service is that the cost of service was my nail health! my nails need repair and treatment because of the lack of expertise and required care from this salon

Roxanne is a keeper and the wait time is tolerable. The music is light and calming. Please don't ever change that. My only suggestion is they ask their people to be aware of the "spa" experience. There were two technicians that would not shut up and they were talking to each other (more like screaming) from one side of the spa to the other. This experience was completely unacceptable…read more I booked a 10:00 a.m. appointment for two people, specifically requesting that we be seated next to each other. We arrived on time and checked in as instructed. My friend was eventually seen, although it was about an hour after our scheduled appointment. Meanwhile, I continued waiting. By 11:35 a.m., I still had not been seen. During that time, I watched numerous clients who arrived after me get seated before I did. I spoke with multiple employees throughout the morning to make sure I hadn't been overlooked and reminded them several times that I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment. No one offered an explanation, an apology, or even an estimate of when I might be seen. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one on duty. I then asked to speak with the owner and was told the owner wasn't there. At no point did anyone take ownership of the situation or make any effort to resolve it. Waiting an hour and thirty-five minutes past a scheduled appointment without ever being seen is unacceptable. Delays happen, but what is not acceptable is the complete lack of communication, accountability, or basic customer service. More than anything, it was incredibly disrespectful of my time. I ultimately left without receiving any services because I simply could not wait any longer. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and showed a complete disregard for customers' time.
