The colors I picked were some newer options Trex released and Derrick said he was excited to see how it turns out. Derrick and Luke came out and when I watched them work I was highly impressed. They worked like machines; measuring and communicating like a good team should. Luke is clearly a highly skilled carpenter. I had an idea for angled steps and even though it's a bit complicated he took on the project and built some really cool stairs that make my deck unique. Their attention to detail really showed and they kept me informed of their progress through an app with daily updates in what was complete. Communication was top notch and thats important to me. Pulse wasn't the cheapest company, but the value was great. You get what you pay for and Im glad that I finally have a beautiful deck to enjoy. He got up on the roof to do the initial visual inspection, and determined what would be needed. He was very thorough in his explanation and what the estimated cost would be. Once we decided to move forward with JL Contractor Services he sent the agreement, and was able to schedule his crew for a week later - during winter! He was able to look ahead and find a day where the weather allowed for the work to be done. His workers were there on time, courteous and did a very thorough job on both the front and the back - the work was completed in a day as stated. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.
