    Pepperoni Experience Pizza Pie

OHHHHH MYYYY GODDDDDD. As a New Yorker this place has definitely filled the void of New York style pizza for me personally. It was amazing, and the topping of pepperoni really hit the spot. We ordered literally 20 before closing and they were still nice enough to take our order. Will Be back!!!

Stopped in tonight after seeing the pics from the website. Picked up a small pepperoni and bread sticks. I usually get deep dish but I will absolutely try it from Vizzys next time! Toppings, cheese, sauce, crust, bread sticks, all phenomenal. 5/5. If you find yourself in Westland Michigan, do yourself a favor and stop by. I will do more reviews as I try more of their menu.

Fabulous pizza for a hearty appetite! We got the everything and hawaiian stuffed pizzas and breadsticks. Outstanding! Their stuffed pizza is loaded With ingredients , not just too much cheese. Try it!

I saw this pizza place Mr.Chimetime reviewed and I had to check it out. This is my new favorite pizza place Aside from the best pizza, they had that old school customer service that rarely exists anymore Such a great experience. Can't wait to go back.

9/12/2024 - Large 1 topping Spicy Pepperoni and cheese pizza. Small Cheese Bread. Side of ranch (included 2)

I really enjoyed this pizza! The crust was really delicious and just as good left over! The spicy pepperoni was cupping and delicious, not too spicy. The ranch was good but had large pieces of seasoning if you're into that. The downfall for me was the small cheese bread - it was super tiny and tasted like it was made from jarred garlic. All said and done, this places moved up to my #1 spot in the Garden City area! (and we have tried a lot!)

Pizza and breadsticks was delicious and a great price. I found a coupon in the Valpak 1 large pizza w/ 1 toppings and 1 large breadsticks for $15. In order the get the deal you would just have to order online and use the code. I order 1/2 green peppers and 1/2 pepperoni. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings. Garlic Bread was hot and soft with Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top. It does come with dipping sauce. Definitely a place worth going back.

Been ordering here for years (started with my parents ordering years ago) and now I order for my family !! Try the PIZZA PIE Or the MEATBALL EXPERIENCE you WONT be disappointed ! The most authentic Italian pizza I've ever had ! It's a small place tucked away with only carry out BUT like I said well worth it

    Vizzyo killed the radio star

Probably the best Pizza in Michigan. Definitely top 5. Probably top 10 in the whole country. Definitely top 20. Yes it's that good. Now let me tell you a story. The day I drove here was very foggy. There was zero vizzy-bility. I remember it well because it was announced on the radio that the owner of this place had killed a top pop musician who had been #1 in the Billboard Airplay Charts 3 years running. I wrote a song about it. "Vizzy's-owner Killed The Radio Star." It buggles me why it never became a hit. Vizzy's is like a hospital. You can only come here during Vizzy-ting hours. Which are: lunch time to close. So please bear that in mind. Literally, bear in mind, as in, focus all of your attention on a cute Panda or Koala, and think of nothing else. It is literally the only way to enjoy their famous and sensational pizza. But I was annoyed with the sodas. They had no carbonation. Flat. In other words, they were no longer vizzy. Looks like there is a new challenger for the very best pizza in all of Detroit, which is arguably the best pizza city in the whole world. So I usually only buy pizza from places that serve slices because I have just so many pizzerias to try, so I may as well start off with places that just sell it by the slice. Well, this dude spent time on the phone talking me into trying an actual pizza, which was dirt cheap anyway. He changed my life, when he did that. Joe Pesci loves it, so does Marisa Tomei (and I love her). That's why they starred in a movie about this place: My Cousin Vizzy. So yes, this guy did me a huge favour when he convinced me to buy a personal size pizza which I never usually do. Since it was under $5 (same price as a lot of New York slices! So what's the difference, except this was bigger and fresher!), and since he sounded so enthusiastic - as did the reviews - I decided to call back and give it a try after initially declining it. One of the best decisions I ever made. Liquor store next door, too, in case you want "Whiskey In The Jar." That's a song by the way. Originally performed by "Thin Vizzy." This thick gooey cheesy crusty flavourful perfection is the ultimate example of why Detroit Pizza rules all Pizza. The cheese is thick and perfect and the sauce is rich and wet and tomatoey and the crust is gooey and chewy and tasty, and the pepperoni which I upgraded to spicy for a dollar (so should you) is some of the best I've had. By the way you know that blonde girl from Australia, who raps "Black Widow" and "Work" and "Bang Bang" with the lovely Ariana Grande? She's named after this place. Vizzy Azalea. Or is it Iggy Vizzylea. Idk. Idc. Dilligaf. One of the most enthusiastic owners of any business anywhere, making some of the best pizza I've had in the whole country. It's right up there with my two or three favourites in the Downriver area (BCs, Primo's), and let me emphasize that Detroit Pizza is the very best in the world, alongside maybe Buffalo pizza - so you need to get here and try it for yourself. By the way, the Pope loves Vizzy's, and often gets them imported to the Vizzytican City. Or is that the Vatican Vizzy. Idk. Idc. Dilligaf. I actually met some crazy African a-capella singing guys here, using Swiss singing styles, but they were also fascinating. I would describe them as "Very Interesting Zambian Zealot Yodelers". Or VIZZYs for short. I don't want to keep making bad jokes, lest you all take the Pizzy out of me. And if it's so good that you wear it around your neck, it's "Vizzy's Pizza Necklace." And if they open a location in the French Capital, it's "Vizzy's Pizza Paris." And if I do an "American Pie" but replace the Pie with a Vizzy's Pizza because it's just so warm and gooey and sexy, then I'll end up with a sauce-covered "Vizzy's Pizza Penis." Ew.

We liked it. We'd buy again. But the crust was too thick . Why does the review require 85 characters? Too much info required.

Pricey but worth it - toppings piled high. I like that the pepperoni is placed on top of the cheese and crisped up.

I was eager to avoid the kitchen and had always wanted to try the restaurant, so I was game. We were able to get a reservation immediately and headed on over. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We started our meal with the grilled calamari - a nice change from the typical fried that is usually served in restaurants. It was light and filling, and accompanied by some delicious bread and olive oil with balsamic to dip. For my main course, I chose the orrechiette pasta. The portion was gargantuan - I can have it for at least 3 meals - and the flavors were so balanced and well-composed. Our server did a good job of making sure we had our food promptly and that plates were cleared out as we finished each course. She was friendly as well. We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to introducing friends and family to the restaurant soon!

First, the place is so welcoming. Several different rooms as well as the outside patio, which has bocce ball. It was too warm & humid for us, so we sat inside at a table near the bar. The servers were all very friendly; it seemed a different person brought each course. We had the bread service and calamari for an appetizer. The bread and herb butter were very good, and I understand that it does cost the restaurant to serve it, but $7 seemed like a lot to me. I also enjoyed the calamari. I had the pasta Bolognese (they had some other name for it), which is one of my favorite kinds of pasta. This did not disappoint. I loved the super wide papardelle noodles (also a favorite!) and the small scoop of cheese (burrata, maybe?) on top. My sister had the mushroom pizza (also with a different name). She enjoyed it as well. I am glad they decided to take us there; it was all very good and in a nice atmosphere as well.
