Ordered two pizzas from Vizzy's - BLT and Pepperoni. It's hard to find places that make BLT Pizzas - Vizzys was the best by far. Real bacon chunks, good cheese - outstanding. Large Pepperoni was delicious - yes, the sauce is a little sweeter than most but not overwhelming. Regular pepperoni and old world was great combination. I really enjoyed this pizza! The crust was really delicious and just as good left over! The spicy pepperoni was cupping and delicious, not too spicy. The ranch was good but had large pieces of seasoning if you're into that. The downfall for me was the small cheese bread - it was super tiny and tasted like it was made from jarred garlic. Pizza and breadsticks was delicious and a great price. I found a coupon in the Valpak 1 large pizza w/ 1 toppings and 1 large breadsticks for $15. In order the get the deal you would just have to order online and use the code. I order 1/2 green peppers and 1/2 pepperoni. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings. Probably the best Pizza in Michigan. Definitely top 5. Probably top 10 in the whole country. Definitely top 20. Yes it's that good. Now let me tell you a story. The day I drove here was very foggy. There was zero vizzy-bility. I remember it well because it was announced on the radio that the owner of this place had killed a top pop musician who had been #1 in the Billboard Airplay Charts 3 years running. I wrote a song about it. "Vizzy's-owner Killed The Radio Star." It buggles me why it never became a hit. Vizzy's is like a hospital. You can only come here during Vizzy-ting hours. Which are: lunch time to close. So please bear that in mind. Literally, bear in mind, as in, focus all of your attention on a cute Panda or Koala, and think of nothing else. It is literally the only way to enjoy their famous and sensational pizza. But I was annoyed with the sodas. They had no carbonation. Flat. In other words, they were no longer vizzy. Looks like there is a new challenger for the very best pizza in all of Detroit, which is arguably the best pizza city in the whole world. So I usually only buy pizza from places that serve slices because I have just so many pizzerias to try, so I may as well start off with places that just sell it by the slice. Well, this dude spent time on the phone talking me into trying an actual pizza, which was dirt cheap anyway. He changed my life, when he did that. Joe Pesci loves it, so does Marisa Tomei (and I love her). That's why they starred in a movie about this place: My Cousin Vizzy. So yes, this guy did me a huge favour when he convinced me to buy a personal size pizza which I never usually do. Since it was under $5 (same price as a lot of New York slices! So what's the difference, except this was bigger and fresher!), and since he sounded so enthusiastic - as did the reviews - I decided to call back and give it a try after initially declining it. One of the best decisions I ever made. Liquor store next door, too, in case you want "Whiskey In The Jar." That's a song by the way. Originally performed by "Thin Vizzy." This thick gooey cheesy crusty flavourful perfection is the ultimate example of why Detroit Pizza rules all Pizza. The cheese is thick and perfect and the sauce is rich and wet and tomatoey and the crust is gooey and chewy and tasty, and the pepperoni which I upgraded to spicy for a dollar (so should you) is some of the best I've had. By the way you know that blonde girl from Australia, who raps "Black Widow" and "Work" and "Bang Bang" with the lovely Ariana Grande? She's named after this place. Vizzy Azalea. Or is it Iggy Vizzylea. Idk. Idc. Dilligaf. One of the most enthusiastic owners of any business anywhere, making some of the best pizza I've had in the whole country. It's right up there with my two or three favourites in the Downriver area (BCs, Primo's), and let me emphasize that Detroit Pizza is the very best in the world, alongside maybe Buffalo pizza - so you need to get here and try it for yourself. By the way, the Pope loves Vizzy's, and often gets them imported to the Vizzytican City. Or is that the Vatican Vizzy. Idk. Idc. Dilligaf. I actually met some crazy African a-capella singing guys here, using Swiss singing styles, but they were also fascinating. I would describe them as "Very Interesting Zambian Zealot Yodelers". Or VIZZYs for short. I don't want to keep making bad jokes, lest you all take the Pizzy out of me. And if it's so good that you wear it around your neck, it's "Vizzy's Pizza Necklace." And if they open a location in the French Capital, it's "Vizzy's Pizza Paris." And if I do an "American Pie" but replace the Pie with a Vizzy's Pizza because it's just so warm and gooey and sexy, then I'll end up with a sauce-covered "Vizzy's Pizza Penis." Ew. read more

We have really taken a liking to this place. My Fiancé can't have crust, so she loves the crustless pizza. I like thin crust, they didn't offer it but the owner made it especially for me and it was amazing! Their salads are also super fresh too, and even though I am not a fan of French dressing, they offer a honey French that has changed my mind!! So tonight, I called and asked about pizza specials. The owner said he'd give us his best coupon deal. I was surprised to hear that he's best was $17.99 for a large 3 topping pizza. We really enjoyed our pizza topped with a generous amount of spicy pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, and Italian sausage. That combination was just the right amount of spice. The crust was very good and the pizza was cooked to perfection. We will definitely have Vizzy's again but we have coupons now so we can get a better deal. I got a pepperoni pizza and a combo pizza their pasta sauce had sugar in it. It was too sweet for my taste. I like the pepperoni they used the kind that curls. So that was great. I wasn't happy about the pizza dough either it too was a bit sweet. I like savory pizza. It took forever to deliver the pizza. I ordered the pizza at 12pm it didn't get delivered until 1:45pm. First time trying Vizzy's....We really enjoyed their food! Delicious!! Great customer service too. We ordered a round cheese pizza, Keto pizza and boneless breaded chicken wings. I normal dislike boneless wings but my son and I loved them. Not heavily breaded and just good flavor. The keto pizza was amazing, they use a very good sauce and sausage. The sausage is seasoned well and full of flavor. Keto pizza had a touch of extra grease from the meat (we had pepperoni, sausage and bacon) but one paper towel used to dab and all was good. My son loves cheese pizza and devoured it. Overall great place and we will order carry out again! read more

My wife and I wanted to try a new pizza place. We came across this pizza place which got good reviews. I placed the order and went to pick it up by the time it said the pizza would be ready. I thought it was weird that the boxes weren't hot or warm as I'm used to with many other pizza places. The pizza was good, we got a small pizza and a small cheese bread, I feel like the total was a bit expensive for two small items. Tried this place for the first time tonight. First of all, WOW. I had a coupon selected when placing my online order but forgot to apply it. I really enjoyed my visit here and the owner manager who took the order could not have been any nicer. She took the time to explain all the menu items that I asked about which took about 10 minutes. I end up getting the Family meal which contained a ton of breadsticks which were all very good. The pizza was out of this world and the sauce in the crust were the best that I've ever had. Truly a great tasting pizza with only 3 items on it. We also got the pizza pie which had everything on it. I didn't love the pizza pie but it was not bad.
