He serves HALAL meats for the community as well. very flavorful, very generous, very thin, dough that doesn't hurt your stomach after you eat! I would give Sal 0 stars if I could. I don't know how anyone could support this clown. He charged a friend of mine 12% for using an Amex. Then he said "it wasn't me! it was the machine.." I swear that's a quote. He blamed the machine and not the fact that he added it. What a crook. I called him myself to see why the price was so much higher. If it wasn't a party I would have told my friend to throw the pizza back in his face. I bet you're saying oh it must have been a single slice of pizza. That's why he charged so much. Nope. DeMarco's is an institution. Not only have they consistently delivered a solid pie all theses years but also one that hasn't changed. This is the exact same pizza I grew up with. A lot of reviews saying the pizza is "thin" and that's true but what do you expect for Italian pizza. People are so used to the thick crust and Puffy pizza that De Marcos throws them off. Living 1 street away for the last 5 years i have not had them so i said let me give them a try. I called in a order for a large cheese and chicken pizza. The gentleman on the on the phone was great and said it needs 20 minutes. I showed up and the pizza was just coming out looking fantastic, in the meantime i also saw they had some brownies in a case i got a slice of that as well. The pizza was huge! For a large it was huge the cheese was perfect it sooo reminded me of a dollar slice from New York (this is a compliment) it brought me back so many memories. But the chicken was tasteless, it was cooked perfect but bland it, it had no taste. Loved that they give u a side of banana peppers and the price was great as well. Next time ill get some sausage or meatball and see if the meat taste better then the chicken. I will be back for sure. read more

On our ever-present search for good eat-in pizza, we stopped in here for dinner a few nights ago. We walked in and it smelled soooo good. We ordered a medium pizza, half with ham and onion (me), half with pep and bacon (her), and an order of Italian cheese bread. The pizza and bread were served on cardboard, eaten off of paper plates, and we shared a 2-liter via styrofoam cups. So not the most comfortable or classy eat-in pizza, but it was forgivable. The pizza was disappointing. Pretty thin, and the toppings were sparse. Except the onion... there was a TON of onion. I don't know if it was the sauce, but the pizza had a certain flavor that I couldn't pinpoint and wasn't a fan of. The Italian cheese bread, though, the bread was delicious... A few years ago the pizza and subs were just great. I loved the place. But lately the pizza went straight down hill and I'm not sure why. You can tell they are struggling to stay in business and I'm all about giving second chances. As soon as you see the place you see signs about them selling single slices of pizza. I have went 5 times this week trying to get a slice and every single time i have gotta rudely told that he is out of slices. I have been to this place over 30 times and about 4 times i have successfully gotten my slice of pizza. Not to mention how rude the owner is. Its like he doesnt even want you in the place. The lack of respect for the youngins is terrible. I just dont understand how they say they sell slices of pizza but NEVER have. It would be very appreciated if they would stop wasting my time stopping in just to hear that they dont have any. I dont have to worry about that anymore because i am definitely never gonna step foot in there again. And i made it clear last time i was there that he will never see me again. Worst customer service ever! I had never been here and figured I'd try it out. I walked in and asked for a menu so I could see the specials. I was told by the owner that you have to order a pizza first to see any coupons. He said the menu is on the wall you can use that. All I asked for was a simple flyer he was putting on pizza boxes and was told you have to pay first. Any place that is so cheap they refuse to let you even see a coupon flyer because they gotta make that extra $2-$3 is a hard pass for me. Great business strategy! read more

I am scratching this place off of my pizzeria list. This is my third time trying it and the second time it sucked. I received a flier in the mail for an "X-Large" round or square pizza with 3 toppings for $9.99. I figured it has been a while since we ordered one, so I did. Summary: The square I ordered was burnt on the bottom. X-large? Says who, them? It was not X-large by any means. The three toppings I ordered probably did not total the amount I would have gotten on a one topping somewhere else. There was barely any cheese on it too. Very cheap on toppings and cheese. As soon as I picked up the box I could tell by the light weight of the box that it was gonna be skimpy. Sorry Demarcos, I don;t know how you stay in business being cheap to coupon users. The pizza maker was Johns brother, the same one who made the first lousy one. I think they are trying to operate by skimping. I will not be back, coupon or not. If you're a fan of thin crust New York style pizza this is the place. Sometimes they can go lighter on the sauce, so if you're like me and you like sauce, just ask for extra and you'll have a great pizza. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, so all I can recommend is the pizza. read more
