The chicken here is so good ,I am a pro at eating chicken wings but and I have another place that I like ,but since I started eating at Louie's I can't stay out of this place and I never had the different types of pizza's they have , whoever heard of "BLT" pizza it's sooooo good and juicy,I love their food it's all good and the lemon pepper you can't buy in a regular store ,I m in love with their chicken for real try it you won't be disappointed mmmmm delicious. read more

I ordered a Large 2 topping with extra cajun crust and well done. I get home to this, after picking it up. (My fault for not checking). I call and they tell me they forgot to add Cajun and to drive it back up so they can put cajun on my crust. I say no, I would like the pizza made the way I ordered it. He then offers to make me a new one if I drive back up with the old pizza that I brought home already, to exchange it?? The old Owner would have the mistake delivered and refunded. This place isn't much when walk inside but the bufflao wings here are delicious. Me and my son was at the SOSMichigan and while we were waiting to be serived we decided to get a bite to eat. Can have the pizza because they don't have gluten free but the wings are really good. Make sure you ask for them well done. It's just something I tend to do to make sure the texture of my wing is to my liking. I like a little extra crunch when I bit into my wing and sometime the sauce can take that away. My son walked down to see if they had naked or breaded wings and the old man behind the counter was very nice to him and when iij walked down with him he confirmed that he told my son the wings aren't naked they are bufflao but they don't have any breading coating. We placed the order and he told us about 20 minutes and after we order my sona and I noticed that this little pizza place we never noticed has alot of traffic and seem to be popular amongst the locals. read more

Nothing like it used to be before Louie sold it. Pizza is terrible as well as the sides. If you like the food now, you never had it when Louie owned it. Too bad it can't get no stars. read more

I have been coming to Louie's ever since I was kid over 18+ years ago. Absolutely love the food and I love seeing them back open. Every time I come back to Michigan, they are the first place I stop to get pizza! This makes me happy they are still around and hopefully for years to come! read more

Louie's Pizza has been a staple at our household for more than 16 years now... lately we've been ordering at least once a week. So I need to give them some praise, great food, the pizza tastes fresh always, and we have never had a bad one. If the fresh tomatoes were not that good that day they were honest and let know when we ordered, some of the ingredients are imported, like the cheese on the Cheesy Bread - an incredible favorite at our house. The staff was friendly/polite and the service was fast but as for the pizza itself we were all disappointed. It was just alright, nothing more. I don't think it's as good as most of the reviewers are claiming but to each his own I guess. Perhaps the square would have been better...? Either way it serves it's purpose and I love to try out new restaurants especially when it has such great reviews on Yelp or Google reviews but after trying it I can safely say that it's definitely overhyped. I moved to Redford nine years ago went to Louies the 4-5 years. The pizza is decent although he doesn't use the small pepperonis. What made me leave is ordering a pizza to be picked up being told 25 mins. I would arrive in 25-30 mins which was fine. But the pizza was rarely ready. I'd wait another 10-15 mins. louie's pizza is awesome! we like going there , the pizza is always great they don't make a fuss with my special orders and are always friendly! that "other" cheap pizza place is across the street...if you like cardboard and fake cheese go there ....but at louie's you get the real deal for not a whole lot of money more. cash only...remember that! he has ton's of other goodies on his menu but we are so loyal to our regular order i am really wanting to try some other things he offers too :) read more

Ordered from here the first time recently. Probably the best tasting pizza in my immediate area. Didn't have anything else from here besides pizza yet so can't speak for their other menu items. Would definitely recommend, the pizza was great. Only thing is my phone was having a small connection problem when I ordered and the worker on the phone with me got impatient super quickly. read more

I agree the pizza is great! There are a couple things I don't like, that they only take cash, that they don't have fresh mushrooms and they do seem to be closed often for family functions. If you can overlook those minor things, the pizza rocks! read more

I was charged over $5.00 more than the menu prices. When I told the owner about the error, he told me it was correct and I was wrong. I told him to check again. He scoffed "f((( you" under his breath and didn't respond beyond that. I repeated it again 4 times each with no response. Finally he got the calculator and right in front of my eyes he typed in numbers higher than the price listed on the menu for 3 different items. I called him out on this. He said the prices were raised "by his suppliers" and these were old menus. I asked him where the new menus were. He said he didn't get them back from the printers yet. Another customer says he's had the higher prices for over 2 years without changing the menu. The owner looked like he had an evil eye of a mafia boss and told the other customer in an intimidating voice, "you, stay out of this!". I told him to refund everything and he refused. I gave up and took the products that I was overcharged for. BUT I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN. read more
