TLDR: Great food, great staff - come here for the best DBH local pizza!! Came to big Al's for a pizza after going out with the guys and feeling insanely hungry. Let me just say the barbecue chicken pizza is quite possibly the most savory cheesy pizza you can get from this establishment. It hits all the right spots after a night out and I would highly recommend it We also got their boneless rings with boneyard barbecue sauce. These came out so fresh but I almost burnt my tongue on it and I'm so happy to say that. Perfectly cooked and perfectly sauced. They also have tables on the inside which we were able to sit down and eat our food quickly to really get the full enjoyment . I'd recommend to anyone that is looking to eat their pizza as fresh as possible and they do not care about their location, please stay here and eat it inside the facility. I've had food from here on occasion throughout the years. Good pizza, but I wouldn't say it's the best I've had in Michigan like their menu advertises. Having said that I came back to try a relatively new item at the time of my visit, The Coop. This sandwich is their take on a Nashville hot chicken. My brother and I originally wanted it as a sub so we could share, but there was some miscommunication and we ended up getting the sandwich. Due to this being an obvious mistake on their end they made us the sub at no extra charge. I have to say either way you eat it, it's very good and I would say it's definitely one of my favorite Nashville hot chickens. The cole slaw really does give balance to the heat and seasoning of the chicken. Great job! read more

*Solely a Crispy Chicken Burger Review* I tried their spicy chicken sandwich called the "Coop" and let me just say it was amazing. Based in the dearborn area at least, I think it was as best of a fried chicken burger as you can get. It's definitely top 3 places for me. The outer breading was super crunchy. It was seasoned very well. And their spicy level gives a good kick without overwhelming the flavor. The chicken itself was very tender and delicious. This was a highly enjoyed meal for me. After a long day outlet shopping, we just wanted a hot, yummy meal. We placed an order on the phone on the drive back and picked up our pizza about 30 minutes later. Pick up was easy and quick. The pizza was so good! We had their spinach and artichoke pizza, which was delicious. It was thin, flavorful, and not too heavy at all. I love Artichoke's in NYC, but those slices are thick, heavy monsters. The spinach artichoke at Big Al's was so thin and light that I didn't feel gross after eating it. Holy crap. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had! It was my first time coming to Big Al's but I knew they were known for THE BIG SLICE! So that's what we ordered. The vegetarian big slice was ridiculously good. So cheesey, spicy with banana peppers and other peppers and cooked veggies that still had some crisp! Honestly I'm so disappointed in big Al's. I feel he's taking advantage of ppl. Now i wouldn't mind paying $15 a steak calzone if there was actually steak In it.
