Just happened to be driving by and in the mood for pizza. Looks like this place does a lot of carry-out based on the volume of people coming in and leaving right away. I was also happy to see a bench, as we did not call ahead and had no idea if they offered a dine-in option. It would have been no problem to wait in a vehicle, as street parking was abundant! Ordered pizza king tonight to take downtown to my boyfriend for his lunch (he works nights). Forgot it was prime time on a Friday. The lady at first said 35 minutes and I said that wasn't gonna work and she accommodated my order anyways. When I got there I did wait about 5-10 more minutes, but I still was able to get downtown in time. We ordered a pepperoni and ham pizza, and 4 pepperoni rolls (two without cheese). The pepperoni rolls were really good. The pizza was good but the ham was kind of tough and I didn't care for it much. Their pizza is very good and they don't skimp on the ingredients! You know how you go to some joints and their pie cost 15-20$ then it sucks cause theirs barely any cheese,toppings on the dam thing. Pizza isn't bad but customer service is lacking. I think their motto is "customer is always wrong". Apparently their rules are written on stone tablets brought to them by Mosses. I mean seriously, reasonable requests should not be denied. It's like they take pleasure in telling their customers NO. Their food is addictive. Pizza - get it well done, flawless. Pepperoni rolls, add sesame - get in my mouth. Subs (baked) come with cold toppings on the side - delish! Cheap and family owned. Pizza King has been in the same location for over 30 years. In the last 5-6, their quality control has been nearly non existent. I've actually heard a woman screaming in the background about "if they don't like, they can go somewhere else..." I was placing an order, and that is going on in the back. You're lucky if they get your order right, they screw things up more times than not, and they seem spiteful about being asked to correct the problem or refund your money for their own mistake ( I am guessing the screaming meany in the back was over an incorrect order). With so many pizza joints around, I suggest you try them, and let the cranky old pit close their doors. Should have been done a long time ago. Clearly, they no longer care. read more

Ordered pepperoni roll with deep dish pizza. Got home and they gave me a round pizza. Called them and told them I got the wrong pizza. Rude guy on phone says "yeah our deep dish is round" I said this isn't even close to deep dish? He said u"your pizza is right and hung up on me" really?
