Cozy spot that gives "family restaurant/pizza place" vibes. The menu boasts a range of classic pizzas with some fun extras, ranging from $9-23 based on size and number of toppings. Good news- there's something for everyone with vegan cheese and gluten free crust options available. The staff was warm but not saccharine- again, family pizza place vibes. We were joined by young couples and families, individuals grabbing carry out, and even some friendly policemen! The Detroit City Soda selection really popped! I tried the Real Draft Root Beer and the Belle Isle Cream Soda- both yummy. My boyfriend went for a "one of everything," kid style, and even that wasn't bad. Now for the Za. For the Major Tomato, we went half vegan cheese and half regular mozzarella for all my Yelpers ;) The staff was kind enough to share that although they could split the cheeses for us, they couldn't guarantee there would be no crossover. We didn't mind, but appreciated the courtesy! The crust was thin and crispy, which was a nice contrast to the creamy cheese. Admittedly, the mozzarella brought more salt, zing and pep than the vegan cheese... but ain't that always the case? Still, a quality vegan option. The sauce was nice- not too perky, not too spicy, just some major flavor on that major tomato ;) I wouldn't actually call it major, but it was good. The fresh basil made the dish. Next, we got the Major Potato. This was a fun white sauce pizza. The broccoli flavor brought some green punch and balance to the sharp cheddar cheese. The potatoes provided a chewy contrast to the crispy crust. All in all, a nice change up from the usual. Finally, what ended up being my favorite: the Major Breadsticks. They were soft with crispy edges, generous with the cheese, had just enough garlic that you knew they weren't playing, and enough range of sharp and smooth cheese flavors to level up the sticks. Here's where the fifth star came in- the bathroom. Cute, clean, and the women's room had helpful amenities. Score. My boyfriend loved this place, and I did too!

Favorite local pizza joint. Always satisfied with the quality, freshness, & deliciousness of anything I order from here. Add it to your list if you haven't tried it yet.

This place is awesome! We live in Detroit and had it because i worked in Allen Park at the time 5 years ago. I don't even work in Allen Park anymore but we make the drive just because the pizza is so good. Basically if I have to go to Allen Park for anything I will be getting a pizza from here. Love the little Mac, and their OG cheese pizza. Never had a bad pizza from here. They used to have a pizza called vampire killer that was also my favorite and I wish they would bring it back-it was steak, garlic and balsamic. It looks like they recently added deep dish pizza as well- we are trying it for the first time and it's honestly some of the best i've ever had! best place for both thin crust and deep dish. perfect crunch with the crust. Major Cheesebread is also always a staple for us. Nice family owned business, everyone is always very friendly. Cute little cafe vibe inside, eclectic art and plants and some board games as well.

Major Tomato is an Allen Park staple for great pizzas. They have a very healthy takeout/delivery business so be prepared to wait! I recently placed a weekend evening order and it took 40 minutes before it was ready. They do have a small dining room with a couple of tables, so you can probably get your pizza a bit faster if you eat in. This most recent weekend, I got: Little Mac, Large ($23) - The pizzas from Major Tomato always come with a thin crust, resulting in a great crisp in every bite and the Little Mac is no different. The outer crust is exemplary, topped by sesame seeds that lend a great nuttiness. The toppings here are perfect and include: Ground seasoned beef that tastes just like a nice burger patty. Lots of veggies - shredded lettuce, chopped tomato and pickles, and cubed potatoes. This pizza is certainly a lot healthier than a lot of other options! I love the potato in particular - it gives a nice fluffy element to the pizza. It's all brought together by some cheddar cheese (some parts of the crust are just cheese + bread) and a very nice classic burger sauce, a ketchup, mayo, mustard mixture that just screams fast food burger. The only weakness is that this pizza doesn't reheat well, given all the fresh veggies on top. But this has an easy solution - you just need to make sure to eat the entire pizza before it goes cold! I've gotten the Little Mac every time I've gone to Major Tomato. I should probably branch out next time, but the Little Mac is just too good to not get. Major Tomato has some of the best non-Detroit style pizza in the area. Definitely check them out if you're around Allen Park.

One of the best pizza places in Allen Park. My wife and friends rave about this place. If you notice the pizza is half and half. I am just a pepperoni kind of guy. The other half is called the loaded potato pizza. And let's just say it tastes just like a loaded potato. I wasn't expecting to taste something new today. Boy was ever surprised so you know what ? This is PINCHE DELICIOUS! You know when Chief calls its like this it's worth it. Everything here is perfect the staff makes you feel at home. They ran out of bottle water and without hesitation they offered a refund. Nice pictures on the wall clean setting and great vibes. So this is the kind of place that makes you comeback and try something else. Short and sweet simple life's to short right ? Trying just to get back in the swing of things here. But miss you all and when you all get a chance give a shout out to my beautiful wife Brenda G. We are fixing to be a Yelp power couple. Cool at least one of us will have elite status. That is all. Chief Show off your talents but be humble. Be humble but don't let your guard down.

    Cheese Louise with added prosciutto

We've been wanting to try this place for a while. It's out of our way so it won't be a regular stop, but definitely has some good pizza. Ordered for takeout after work and the service was good. It's pricier than most, but when in the mood for a delicious speciality pie it's well worth the stop.

Cheese Louise, Major Potato, Cheesebread with sauce, BLT and Major Tomato!!

I love the old school vibes, Frank Sinatra music playing, the elegant white table cloths and the wait staff in tuxedos. It feels like a restaurant out of the Sopranos. Our waiter was great! He informed us of the specials and we both ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which came with a salad, soup (we both had the clam chowder), fresh bread and butter. Our entrees also came with a side of potatoes and green beans. This is a lot of food! We also ordered drinks; a limoncello martini for her, one for me, and I also had a Long Island Iced tea. The martinis were delicious, but the tea was terrible. When the waiter brought out the bowl of fruit and walnuts at the end of our meal along with the check, I almost fell out of my chair!! The prices have drastically increased! I get that we're dealing with inflation, but come on!! $40 for each eggplant parm entree and $54 for 3 drinks!!! Seriously?! We also were not provided with an itemized invoice and had to request one which took forever. The prices on their website are also much cheaper than their current menus. Very deceiving. I used to love this restaurant but I will never be returning.

Their house salad has green olives, red onion, carrot shredded, tomatoes and I only saw one pepperoncini. The bread sticks were chewy and good and tasted good with their house ranch sauce too. The better part is the food was able to be picked up earlier than most places.
