Pizza is always better just was not a good pizza experience this round due to employee error, they offered to make another one. Will give another try one bad experience out of out of several good ones

Small pizza, small loaded fries, ranch

I ordered a small pepperoni pizza & a small order of loaded fries TO-GO at around 8:20 PM on a Monday. The service was good! I was told it would be around 25-30 minutes for the food to be done and that's almost exactly how long it took! So the reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because for a "Pizza Place" the pizza was mediocre at best. Which is surprising given all the good reviews.. Also, the ranch has a weird taste to it. So I think it's safe to say from a pizza perspective you can get better. The fries were good! And I'm happy I ordered them because the pizza didn't get eaten.

This Pizzeria still has a roll to play

I had a simple plan but it was too EMO I dated a whale but it was too FINDING NEMO I had a hot Detroit girl, gave her a CREAM O She was a glamour model, so I gave her a MAXIM O Like Schottenheimer, told her there's a GLEAM O Took her to a sauna, and gave her a STEAM O Got my soccer buddy and gave her a double TEAM O Met her in Iraq in '03, gave her a NEW REGIME O Shared her with my Muslim friend, gave her an IBRAHIM O I like to give Os, I guess that's the common THEME O And when I'm not giving, I'm planning my next SCHEME O I have more O-power than God (and I like to BLASPHEME O) As you can see, I don't lack in self ESTEEM O And I know a place where the pizza's like a DREAM O Let's go and get some perfect slices from PRIMO WHAT What to get: Perfect Slices at Slurp-fest Prices What's a slurp-fest: Ask your girlfriend I don't have a girlfriend: Oh, how interesting. Do you come here often? Yes, to eat pizza. I love the crust: Do you crumb here often? That's dumb: Do you dumb here often? Ew, I'm thumbing my nose at you: Do you thumb here often? Ugh. I have to get back to my kids: Do you Mum here often? OK, you're an ass: Do you bum here often? You're not my type anyway. I prefer Channing: Do you Tatum here often? Primo's. This is what I call Pizza. Reminds me a lot of several places in Buffalo, and the guy was really nice and even warned me about the heat. Of the slices I mean. Not how hot he was. But that too. And he asked me which slice I preferred. Way too nice. I prefer jerks. Sorry bro. Wet and sloppy and cheesy and piping hot and gooey, and so much like Buffalo Pizza that it was almost creepy. Absolutely magnificent and piping hot and only a dollar fifty. Hard to believe. Almost as good as BC - and extremely popular. I love the free-for-all parking on the sidewalk outside. Detroit style Pizza has a lot of similarities to Buffalo pizza, and between the two of them, they're probably the best homemade All-American style pizza cities in the whole world. This was my first ever experience of really good Detroit pizza and I will never forget it. Absolutely spectacular. Pizza in Detroit is something very special. A lot of the locals and definitely out-of-towners don't appreciate just how miraculous it is. Thick, doughy pizza bread with delicious hearty homemade tomato sauce and thick layers of cheese, with greasy-ass pepperoni as the Crown on the King that is Detroit Style on the throne that is delicious dough of the kingdom that is Pizza. The city knows how to pizza, and BC's knows better than most. It is the only city other than Buffalo that I've ever been to with a sky-high standard of local pizza like this. Funnily enough the pizza in Detroit - much like that in Buffalo - is best found south of the city. Morons will tell you that there is no South Detroit and that Journey were wrong, but there really is. It's called Downriver. It's technically Southwest of the downtown, but it's South enough. The Pizza of perfection is specifically in Allen Park. I highly recommend BC Pizza and Bella and Paul's, as well as this place - the Allen Park location of local chain Primo's (probably my joint fave with BC's). I will update this review when I find more great ones, but in general, as long as you're getting it from the small mom-and-pop family places, you're going to be getting some of the best pizza in your life in Detroit. I know people say NYC has the best pizza, and honestly, 4 of the best 5 slices in the country are probably in NYC. But in terms of overall excellence at many of the masses of locally owned spots, nothing comes close to the consistent standards of Buffalo and Detroit. Bear in mind, you may not like this pizza if you are into hipster traditional healthy locally sourced stuff. For that I recommend skipping Detroit and Buffalo completely. Head to Williamsburg and stop hogging Yelp. And if you give birth 1 month before your due date, the best way to get a PREMIE healthy is a steady diet of PRIMO'S. There's even a twitter campaign for it. #PrimosForPremies. Anyway, I hate to be a Primo-donna, but if I don't go write another review I'LL DIE.

Couple weeks ago a neighbor of mine highly recommend that I try this Pizza, he posted a 5 star review on Google. Let me tell you this 40 year spot blew me away, sure it's a few miles away well worth the drive. I walked in and ordered after readings many reviews around the web. The most heavily loaded Pizza we ever eaten WOW. Got a large Primo Su-Primo Primo's supreme has all items on that are on a Primo's special, plus-hamburger, italian sausage, black olives, tomatoes and mild bell peppers, sitting on top of double dough and loaded with extra cheese and extra sauce. and including these toppings. Primos Special this is a primo's classic! just the right amount of cheese, pepperoni, ham, green peppers, onions, bacon and mushroom. Took about 35 minutes just as told. Ordered 12 pc Broasted Chicken OMG fantastic bigger Chickens than most places, those Chicken Breast n Wings be huge. We looking forward to try a whole lotta the menu, it's loaded with tempting food goodies. Fast friendly service, I truly enjoyed talking with the Pizza guys up front. So many places skimp on the toppings, not this place just look at the photos. Thanks Dave for the tip. #primospizza #rudyschicken #pizza #broastedchicken #downriverclassic #downriverfriendseat #greatpizza #motorcitymunchers

I thought this was my first time ordering from Primo's, but after getting my delivery, my first experience years ago came quickly back to mind. The medium square pizza that I received was barely edible and cold. The wings were a joke. I received 6 puny wingettes that were nothing but rubbery breading with a tiny sliver of meat. It's like they buy the cheapest, salty, pre-breaded frozen wings they can find. I thought that I would support a local small business instead of a chain. Heck, I order the same pizza from Jets and it's 10x better.

I pulled up to the restaurant and couldn't find a parking spot which made me think it was a good and busy spot. We circled around and found parking up front. Once we got inside, it was super busy. They do not take reservations but we were able to snag a table. For how busy things were, service was good. We started off with veggie samosas. For entrees, we ordered the saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. Flavors were good. I loved the garlic naan. The owner was really nice and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

I always get the goat curry and get extra goat. The meat is tender and flavorful! And sooo happy there isn't a boat load of fat and bones in the dish. There are 4 different spice levels also! Mild, Medium, Hot, and Spicy I've been getting the medium heat but I'm gonna have to turn it up a bit cause I do like a good mouth breathing sweating kind of spice to my food. This is a popular location so definitely order ahead. The service is great and they pay attention to detail, and I just love the aroma. BURN IN HELL Or at…read moreleast while attached to a hearse. The man that designed this custom built bar and grill does just that at least once a year when he treks with the trailer to Hell, Michigan with his "open casket" grill. The grill, which was built over the course of 80 to 100 hours at The TechShop of Allen Park, is made out of a modified casket. The shell of the casket is mounted to a portable tow-behind trailer, so it draws onlookers when being transported behind a hearse, but with no visible tie-downs. (Video of the creator talking about the grill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0RXI8DHWgo) It contains a four-burner stainless steel grill that boasts 48,000 Btu of power. It boasts 496 square inches of cooking space, with electronic ignition and porcelain-coated, heavy-gauge wire cooking grates and a 20-pound propane tank. The other half of the casket includes a marine style waterproof radio and a 27-gallon cooler with built-in drainage features. Of course, the grill wouldn't be complete without tools that all have "Open Casket Bar and Grill" laser etched into their handles, and custom-made salt and pepper shakers. Why a hearse? Because the creator, Steven Frye, is also the founder of the Nightmare Cruisers Hearse Club for car enthusiasts. The club boasts more than 120 members, mostly from around Michigan, though some join from across the country. "We like to get together and do the cruises," Frey said. "When we do these cruises, we like to hang out with our friends, old friends and new friends. Anyone that has a hearse is welcome to join us, even if you are just a hearse enthusiast." Frey first bought his hearse to promote a product, "Dr. Frybrain's Pumpkin Embalmer," though most people thought it was just a name for his hearse, rather than an actual product. After a couple of years of explaining the product on the car, Frey grew tired of answering questions and instead just painted over the advertising. For a time, the club also held the record for most hearses assembled in a parade in 2011. Frey said the rule for any gathering of cars is that is has to be a parade; otherwise, the record would be held by the manufacturer. "We held the record for about 11 months," he said. "Then a group in the Netherlands broke the record. Almost all of them were 'in the business,' though. Only three of our hearses were owned by funeral homes.

This is awesome! I…read morehave seen this set up at the different car cruises around town, and I also saw it out at Hell Creek Ranch last year. The attention to detail is very professional. I've seen other casket grills, and none of them even compare. This one looks like it came direct from the factory. No other casket grill has a built in cooler, or on-board tunes! They normally only cook for club members, but you can generally get a casket-grilled hot dog for a donation to charity! Well done!

Delray BBQ - What a wonderful surprise!…read more It has been a long time since my last visit downtown and I was craving Motz sliders, but as I got closer, I saw that Motz had closed early. Damn! Then I noticed the Delray BBQ trailer in the parking lot. WTH? I was in a hurry and looking for something quick and they were here, and I was here. They had BBQ. I had money. Sure, why not ... The menu yesterday was considerably limited to what is posted here: - pulled pork - pulled chicken - rib tips - selection of desserts $12 is a rather high price point for chicken and pork sandwiches from a food trailer, but the clock was ticking and what the heck ... I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. The chicken was wonderful; cooked well done, but not over cooked, not dry and not sauced. The portion was very generous and cascaded far off the bun. The bun; I forgot to ask which bakery makes that wonderful bun. I will admit to being worried that only one sauce was available. It is a thin sauce that flows easily. A bit sweet and a hint of tang (acid). The order included a small scoop of Mac & Cheese. It is of the firm variety, my favorite. Not creamy, nor a gelatinous glob. If they put a bit of bacon or lobster in it, I would order it for a meal. I also order a small cup of the coleslaw ($1) and added it to the sandwich. A nice complement of texture for the sandwich. It is wet, not creamy - fine by me. The two guys working the food trailer are friendly and helpful. After finishing my lunch I inquired about wet-naps to clean my fingers and they provided. The limited menu was the only disappointment. I would have loved a combination plate of the usual suspects found at a BBQ joint. The limited menu was aimed at SW Detroit lunch crowd. The full menu is available at other venues - check Facebook, their webpage or call.
