My experience with Vivid Racing has been extremely disappointing. I ordered a set of four exhaust tips because their website indicated the item was in stock. When the order arrived, it contained only three exhaust tips instead of the complete set I paid for. Rather than taking responsibility for shipping an incomplete order, I was told I would be charged a 25% restocking fee and would also have to pay for return shipping if I wanted a refund. In my view, this is unreasonable because the order was not fulfilled correctly in the first place. This is not a case of buyer's remorse the product I received did not match what I ordered. Customers should not be expected to absorb additional costs when a seller ships an incomplete order. I expected the company to either send the missing item or provide a prepaid return label and issue a full refund without any restocking fee. Based on my experience, I would encourage potential buyers to carefully consider the company's return policies and customer service before placing an order. Beware of bait and switch tactics! Ordered some Verus Engineering LCAs from these guys because they were priced lower than other retailers online ($565 vs $724). Throughout the years I have heard of vivid and know that they have been around so I placed an order. I get an email from them a day later stating that there was an error on the pricing listed on their site and that to proceed, they'd need me to pay the difference. Knowing that the price on their website reflected a lower price, which prompted me to purchase in the first place, I questioned why they wouldn't honer their listed pricing on the website and they simply just blamed verus for changing their prices. This seemed sketchy to me and off of principal, I told them to just cancel my order and refund me. Now after a full week I still see the price of the same LCA listed for $565 with no corrections made to reflect the real pricing. This further confirms their dishonesty in my opinion. The worst company I've ever had to deal with. I ordered Raxiom tail light trim that was "in stock" in June of 2025. Days later, I received an email stating that the estimated ship date was in July of 2025. That date came and went, then the date was pushed back until August, then November, then December, then May of 2026. In March of 2026, I contacted Raxiom directly, who stated that the trim was still 12+ weeks out. At that point, I decided to cancel my order. I contacted Vivid Racing customer support and asked to cancel the order on March 2nd 2026. On March 11th, I received an email stating that my order status had changed to "refund pending". My order status has since changed from "refund pending", to "alt refund needed", to "credit memo pending", to "not processed". It is now 5/7/2026, 2 months after I cancelled the order, nearly a year after the order was placed, and I have yet to receive a refund or the parts. Customer support has stopped responding to my emails. Their last communication was on 4/17/26, when they asked for my PayPal info to send the refund. Ended up filing a BBB complaint (which they also haven't responded to). read more

Wow, I sure wish I read the reviews before I ordered, but I was on the Curt Axle website and these guys came up as one of their suppliers. I'll try and keep it as short as possible, but this was just a really odd experience. I ordered four bearing kits that were supposed to include everything you need. None of the kits had the races/cups for the bearings. Anyone that works on cars knows the race is the critical other half of the bearing and it's not going to work without it. I contacted them and was asked for pictures and to fill out a form and they stated they would investigate. After about a week, while I was still waiting to do the job, I contacted them again. Once again they said they would contact the manufacturer and investigate. I don't know what there is to investigate. The parts were missing and I found another reviewer for the product that also stated those very necessary parts were missing from the kits. After 2 weeks went by, I finally disputed the charge with my credit card. At 2 and 1/2 weeks, they contacted me and said they would refund me if I could show them pictures of the product destroyed. Keep in mind, I had been asking them to send a return label so I could send these back. I asked them exactly what the best way to destroy a hardened wheel bearing was and they did not reply. I finally cut the wheel bearings with an acetylene torch and sent them pictures. I don't know if they're ever going to send a credit back, but the credit card company decided in my favor. I wasted a ton of time with multiple emails, calls and they had me fill out the same form multiple times. They also had me send photos multiple times. It just seemed like they wanted to keep wasting tons of my time hoping I would give up on ever getting my money back. After spending $15k on suspension parts for a Ferrari - the order was missing key components which involved me reaching out 20+ times to try and get a resolution towards. While their leadership eventually reached out, I was always the one left following up, emailing, calling, chatting, trying to reach resolution. In the end, it was made to seem like a 'favor' and despite ordering directly from Vivid, they consistently blamed their vendor, Novitec, and took no ownership or responsibility. Eventually a small portion of the missing parts was refunded (again, made to seem like a favor). Really disappointing in how the customer service aspect landed. A customer spending this much should not have to consistently follow up on a resolution. Because of this, and really, the tonality and ignoring to ask my feedback be sent to the CEO, we will not be shopping for our 16+ car collection here anymore. Truly disappointing as we were not taken care of, when we finally were - made it feel like it was a favor, and offered $1k off for the next purchase of $10k or more. While the VP who reached out was nice - we disagreed, then agreed to pursue other alternatives. This was met with more sales pitches and trying to get us to spend, vs "Making things right for the inconvenience" which was promised. No, sir. We will not be spending another $10k after the lack of communication and amount of effort spend chasing this issue. I am very disappointed with Vivid Racing and this is the 2 time that it has happened. At the first time I'm I didn't care as much since I could wait for the parts since I would be able to receive it. This time, I ordered a Rizoma black light fairing for my motorcycle on the 9th of this month. I paid almost $30 for shipping for a $69 part to make sure I would get it before I leave town. The eta for the parts was on the 16th according to their shipping label at the time. I understand it would take a little bit longer than 2 days since I live on an Island (Oahu). I called them for the last two days and I finally got a hold of their representative. She mentioned that at this time they don't even have the parts in stock and neither an eta for delivery of course. They still charge me for $30 dollars for the shipping and they have no clue when they will have the parts in stock. I believe this is not the best way to do business. Note: this is violates the FTC "Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule" -- specifically, "If you can't ship when promised, you must notify the customer of the delay and the right to cancel."
