Beware of bait and switch tactics! Ordered some Verus Engineering LCAs from these guys because they were priced lower than other retailers online ($565 vs $724). Throughout the years I have heard of vivid and know that they have been around so I placed an order. I get an email from them a day later stating that there was an error on the pricing listed on their site and that to proceed, they'd need me to pay the difference. Knowing that the price on their website reflected a lower price, which prompted me to purchase in the first place, I questioned why they wouldn't honer their listed pricing on the website and they simply just blamed verus for changing their prices. This seemed sketchy to me and off of principal, I told them to just cancel my order and refund me. Now after a full week I still see the price of the same LCA listed for $565 with no corrections made to reflect the real pricing. This further confirms their dishonesty in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from this company. Check online for other instances of bad experiences others have had because chances are it is true. read more

Wow, I sure wish I read the reviews before I ordered, but I was on the Curt Axle website and these guys came up as one of their suppliers. I'll try and keep it as short as possible, but this was just a really odd experience. I ordered four bearing kits that were supposed to include everything you need. None of the kits had the races/cups for the bearings. Anyone that works on cars knows the race is the critical other half of the bearing and it's not going to work without it. I contacted them and was asked for pictures and to fill out a form and they stated they would investigate. After about a week, while I was still waiting to do the job, I contacted them again. Once again they said they would contact the manufacturer and investigate. I don't know what there is to investigate. The parts were missing and I found another reviewer for the product that also stated those very necessary parts were missing from the kits. After 2 weeks went by, I finally disputed the charge with my credit card. At 2 and 1/2 weeks, they contacted me and said they would refund me if I could show them pictures of the product destroyed. Keep in mind, I had been asking them to send a return label so I could send these back. I asked them exactly what the best way to destroy a hardened wheel bearing was and they did not reply. I finally cut the wheel bearings with an acetylene torch and sent them pictures. I don't know if they're ever going to send a credit back, but the credit card company decided in my favor. I wasted a ton of time with multiple emails, calls and they had me fill out the same form multiple times. They also had me send photos multiple times. It just seemed like they wanted to keep wasting tons of my time hoping I would give up on ever getting my money back. A proper business would have just apologized, and overnight shipped the missing pieces, or at the very least sent a return label promptly. read more

After spending $15k on suspension parts for a Ferrari - the order was missing key components which involved me reaching out 20+ times to try and get a resolution towards. While their leadership eventually reached out, I was always the one left following up, emailing, calling, chatting, trying to reach resolution. In the end, it was made to seem like a 'favor' and despite ordering directly from Vivid, they consistently blamed their vendor, Novitec, and took no ownership or responsibility. Eventually a small portion of the missing parts was refunded (again, made to seem like a favor). Really disappointing in how the customer service aspect landed. A customer spending this much should not have to consistently follow up on a resolution. Because of this, and really, the tonality and ignoring to ask my feedback be sent to the CEO, we will not be shopping for our 16+ car collection here anymore. Truly disappointing as we were not taken care of, when we finally were - made it feel like it was a favor, and offered $1k off for the next purchase of $10k or more. While the VP who reached out was nice - we disagreed, then agreed to pursue other alternatives. This was met with more sales pitches and trying to get us to spend, vs "Making things right for the inconvenience" which was promised. No, sir. We will not be spending another $10k after the lack of communication and amount of effort spend chasing this issue. I am very disappointed with Vivid Racing and this is the 2 time that it has happened. At the first time I'm I didn't care as much since I could wait for the parts since I would be able to receive it. DON'T BUY FROM VIVID without reading all the fine print and all of their "about" site links on returns, etc. All they want is your money and not your return business. They do not offer solutions to make the customer happy. I was lead to believe based on the pictures of 2 items that what I was purchasing included 2 bulbs/each (cars require 2 headlights, not one). Only at the bottom of the page, in hard to find fine-print, does it state there is only 1 bulb. The items were falsely advertised on the Vivid Racing website as a set of 2 bulbs in the pictures. The pictures were taken directly off of Headlight Revolution's website, where they advertise and sell a set of 2 bulbs because it is pictured as such. Vivid Racing goes as far as using Headlight Revolution's own LED bulb comparison video from YouTube on the website. Looking at the 2 websites, one would presume that a set of 2 bulbs would be included in an order from Vivid Racing because they copied it from Headlight Revolution's website. Who buys only 1 headlight bulb when pretty much every single car in the entire world has 2 headlights? No one that I can think of. Who sells only one headlight bulb instead of a set of 2 bulbs? No one, except Vivid Racing. I'm now out $40 that is not being refunded due to their "25% restocking fee", and I have to pay for return shipping because of Vivid Racing's falsely advertised products on their website. I paid $171.xx but I only get back $129.xx because why take care of a customer, right? This is an extremely deceptive practice that borders on predatory. Never buy from Vivid Racing! read more
