amazing service. did a full set on short notice. very kind people and nails look amazing

I went to Vivid Nails in Rocky River for a regular manicure. I waited a very long time to get them to dry, but they kept feeling tacky. I asked the woman to check them. She said she didn't need to. I left and messed up two instantly. Went back in and she fixed them. Had to wait forever for them to dry. Same thing happened. She fixed again. When I got home I sat and watched to tv to wait for them to dry. Look at them. They have prints in them from fabric. They kept thinking I did something. Obviously, polish was applied too thick and she never let applications dry. What a waste of money!!! read more

I was very happy with my experience at Vivid Nails. I called and made an appointment last minute and they were very nice about accepting. I intended to get my gel filled with my natural nail but wanted something less square and pointed. They were very kind and allowed me to change my request from gel to a full set with dip. I asked for additional personalizing to get a French tip with color. My technician did the french tip with color without charging extra, since I was so unsure about what I wanted. She did a great job. They were very kind and the place was very clean. read more

I popped into this place to get my nails done on a whim as a walk in and was extremely happy with my nails. I got gel on my hands and feet. The employees were very kind and friendly to work with, the overall price was lower than many other places, and the nails came out perfectly. Highly recommend! Only kicker is they only take cash for tips. Make sure to bring cash! read more

This is my go to nail shop. Every two weeks for the last several years, I have had my nails acrylic done at the shop. My nails always look perfect, and have never had any problem. I love the staff - Tom and An treat me like family, always kind and friendly. I highly recommend Vivid Nails. read more

Went here as part of my random spa day because I was wanting to try acrylic nails for the first time. The inside of the place could use a little make over, the huge fish tank in the front needs to go, but the people were all very friendly so I think that makes up for some things. My nails turned out so pretty! So I would recommend this place if you want your nails done, but I am giving 3 stars because I also got a pedicure and it wasn't so great. Oh and you can only leave a cash tip so make sure you've got some before you go in. read more

Vivid Nails - Fancy nails! - Nail Salons Near Me - Cleveland, Ohio

This place came highly recommended to me for gel manicures by a girl who I trust, so I was really surprised how disappointed I was. I didn't get a gel, but I did have one acrylic done on a broken nail and it was kind of s disaster. The first impression is horrible too. It smelled like cigarette smoke which I thought was strange. And you are greeted at the door by a very dirty fish tank. They also reuse everything from nail files to buffers to the paper towels on their stations. ick. The girl who did my nails hardly spoke a word to me the whole time. She chose a very large tip, and was very rough with applying. The nail she did was very thickly applied and cut very short and very square and didn't look anything like the nail it was suppose to match on my other hand. (she also kind of cut my finger while filing and I was thinking how I needed to go soak it in alcohol because of the reused instruments) Overall I will not be going back, even for the much touted gel manicure. (PS I think the strip mall it is in is fine) read more

The service was awesome and my nails look amazing. I would 10/10 recommended to come here. I got a full set of nails and a pedicure. Only took about 45 mins, which is great read more

Ugh. I never leave negative reviews but I'm really dissatisfied. I paid $70 for these nails plus a $25 cash tip. The photo with the rings is the reference I showed them and the rest are what I got. I only wanted one color, but the same length shape and design as the reference. I felt bad saying anything bc they took my friend and I on short notice/walk in when they were clearly pretty busy. I did try to correct them and ask them for something more like they picture but I don't think they really got what I was going for. I'm just really disappointed because this was the first time I've had my nails done in years, and I never get any nail art or any fun shaped nails so I was really looking forward to this. I felt like my request was fairly simple read more

I love this place. I've been going here since I moved into the area, after trying a few others. The staff is very friendly. Only one girl has a tough time with English, the others I have no problems with communication. They know their gel manicures. Mine usually last almost 3 weeks. (I always get the French manicure with gel...you can't see it growing out as obviously.) I switch back and forth between gel polish and regular. Recently, I left the salon before it dries completely. Of course, I screwed up the great polish job. I went in the next evening, needing 9 of 10 nails fixed. I fully expected to pay for a polish change. The guy that did my original manicure fixed it quickly and graciously with no charge. I offered to pay, and he sweetly said "boo boos happen, no big deal", then thanked me for coming back in for the fix. read more

I love this place! I've tried many nail salons around RR, Westlake, Fairview Park and this place is by far the best for pedicures. The decoration is nice and the place has a very serene vibe even though it was fairly busy. I dropped in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get my pedi/mani right away. The women are friendly and they do a wonderful job. I'm glad I went and will be back! read more

Poor scheduling and prices aren't what you see. A fill is posted as $17 but that doesn't include $3 to cut them. They also added "fees" to my pedicure. Got my nail done here twice and they lure you in with low posted prices then up charge you without telling you. Big ripoff. Avoid at all costs. read more

I have been going to Vivid Nails for at least 8 years. I have tried other places, but the Vivid Nail staff are efficient and have the best prices in town which is most important to me. I get acrylic nails, fills, and pedicures and they last me for weeks. They also take appointments so, call ahead. Thank you Vivid Nails for always getting me in and out quickly and providing me with a beautiful set of nails every time! I am so happy when I leave because my nails give me confidence! Stopped in to get a mani/pedi. Both came out terribly. Shellac mani peeling off 2 days later because they got it all over my skin. No massage with the mani. Pedi didn't come out well at all. read more

I'm a regular here for pedis. The best in River. Very friendly service. I can get a deluxe pedi here for the price of a basic pedi elsewhere. This place can't be beat! read more

Whoa--this place is a royal dump. And the strip mall it's in doesn't help! The salon literally smelled like a sewer. I almost turned around and walked out but I was pressed for time and the price for a manicure was so cheap ($10) so I gave it a shot. Well, I have to say it was one of the best manicures I've ever received. But the salon is just a dump. Too bad they don't offer takeout...(kidding) read more

I have been going here for years and Tom and his crew do a great job. Unlike other nail salons in the area, particularly the one at Westgate, if you have a fungus under your nail, they will remove it and clean it instead of filling over it. Prices are good and everyone is really nice. Only caveat, bring cash for a tip. read more

Great manicure, reasonably priced, friendly and efficient. I've been going to Vivid since they opened 6-8 years ago.

I have been going to Vivid off and on for several years. My past few experiences were not so good. Although they are friendly, their communication about pricing was not so good. I called and asked what their fill with gel polish and was told 30.00. Then when I get there, their menu on the wall posts one set of prices and when you check out you are charged something else. I go in for a acrylic fill with gel polish and each time I am charged different pricing, 33.00, 37.00 and 41.00. Thought it was weird. When I asked, they said, if I had any added service, and I don't. Then they said if you have them file your nails down they add a charge, because it takes time. Never heard that one before. What are you supposed to do...let your nail length keep growing? Then they have a sign if you pay cash, you get 10% OFF, no not really, they only don't charge you tax. And you have to pay cash for tips. And they need to change their towels and there is no hand massage. Most of all, I don't like these fees they add. And this last time, the gel polish was thinned and you could see through the polish. I hope they don't thin the polish with acetone. Vivid Nail, be clear and honest with your pricing. read more

I highly recommend this business, once I finally found a nail salon and staff that went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied ,I was beyond myself! Vivid Nails is a one of a kind business! They always take time to make sure your ,service is relaxing and memorable. Their work is impeccable! No matter how busy they may be, they always find time to fit you in! After finally finding a good fit for myself, I would never go to another salon! Check out this local business! read more

Lovely, friendly people. Perfect job on pedicure and manicure. Clean pleasant environment. Have been there 10t's of times, always pleased.

Cheap. First and Last Time. You get what you pay for with a $15 manicure. While in the salon, the manager or could be owner was thinning out bottles of nail polish w acetone. Could you at least wait to do when customers are not in your shop? My manicurist did a good job of filing my nails. It ends there. Soak water was cold. Was asked to go wash hands after the filing to rinse off residue in a general sink area. Never had that happen in all the manicures I've had in my time. The nail lacquer lasted one day before it started to chip and dull. This place is s joke. They wonder why they have no business. They get no return customers after such poor quality. Avoid this place. read more

Visiting my daughter here in Rocky River from Connecticut. Decided my nails could not wait until I got home. I was very happy with my gel mani/ pedi. Kay did a great job. read more

It was the second worst pedi I've ever gotten. The first I got from my 5 year old niece. A twenty something female nail tech (with an attitude) rushed through the pedi, the polish was so uneven I can see my toe nail through it in some places, didn't follow the instructions I gave her. When I tried to talk to the manager on duty, I was told if I didn't like it, I shouldn't come back. Believe me I won't. read more
