Katie does an amazing job! Her balayage and highlights are perfectly placed and look beautiful on my thick wavy hair. Katie also does gray coverage color on my roots, which amazingly only takes 10 minutes to process! This saves me valuable time. She is very thorough and kind and makes sure that the health of my hair is never compromised. Her new Rocky River location is both convenient and absolutely beautiful. Haley is a true talent and gifted at making my blond look bright and natural. She is the best highlighter I have had. She mixes in just enough subtle lowlights that the color has depth and looks more natural. Her haircuts are always on point for what I need and want, I always take her suggestions because she knows, and I've not been disappointed. She keeps my hair healthy so I can keep it longer which I love. Even though I style it daily, she has helped me learn what I need to do to keep it healthy so I can style it and also have long healthy hair. That's a feat when you're over 40! Had a mani/pedi from Stephanie this morning. Will be back for sure. Everything was great. She took her time and made sure to ask if everything was OK and what I wanted instead of just doing what ever. She was also gentle. Usually my fingers and toes are a little sore after but not this time. The only think I can think that could be better is the polish selection. I was hoping for like a smokey grey color but there wasn't really any grey. The closest was more of a beige. This was a good mani/pedi and I will come back. Thanks so much. read more

I went to Lather A for the first time to get my eye lashes tinted and lifted. I'm naturally blonde, so I decided to treat myself and darken up my lashes. I like to keep a more natural look, so I did not want to go with lash extensions (although they do offer those as well). Mandi was my girl and she did an amazing job. Her little studio where she does lashes and brows is up a cute spiral staircase (not to mention the whole salon is so cute! It is a house turned salon- love it). She made me feel comfortable and I was quick to trust her, so much so that I'm going back to get my eyebrows micro bladed. Becca did an amazing job... She was quick but didn't compromised the quality of the gel manicure. My nails still look perfect and it has been nearly a week since I had them done. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails and I'm super excited to go back for my next one. Becca even changed her schedule to accommodate my request for an earlier appointment then she switched it for me so that I didn't have to figure it out with the receptionist. As a makeup artist and self proclaimed "beauty nut" my hair is very important to me. I had the pleasure of working next to the Lather A Salon at the Anderson Couture Fashion show and was extremely impressed with their work! So, I took a chance and booked a haircut with Angie Swigonski. I went in thinking I was going to cut it off, because it was just NOT cooperating anymore. After a great consultation with Angie, we agreed I did not in fact want to cut it off, I just needed it shaped and texturized properly to get the textured look I was craving! I am SO happy with my cut and was truly WOW'd! SO glad I didn't cut it off! I HIGHLY recommend Angie and the Salon!! In addition, the salon is gorgeous! After reading the reviews of Lather A Salon I was so excited to go! I have been looking for a new salon and I am getting married in the fall so I really wanted someone to work with me and my hair to get it ready for the big day. The place was super cute and the environment was nice but the customer service from Haley was horrible. Yes I got offered a drink but that was pretty much it. I was very disappointed in the service I got for the price, no product in my hair and no style. She hardly touched the hair around my face, it was basically a disappointing trim for $50 dollars that I could have gotten at Great Clips. I was asking about weddings and she provided no follow up or offered to see if they were available for my date. I wasn't even offered if I wanted to make another appointment, like the women before me was offered. It seemed to me that if you were not a friend or a regular customer, you don't get great service.
