The salon is clean, newly renovated under the new ownership, and is in a great location. Megan offered coffee and even though I was early, took me back to her station right away. I enjoyed the shampoo with the scalp massage - it was relaxing. Megan was very personable and did an excellent job on my haircut. I was in desperate need of getting cleaned up as it has been months since my last haircut. I made another appointment before leaving today. I will definitely be back!

I booked an olaplex treatment and with loose curls. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a bustling salon, full of prom traffic, young girls getting blowouts and full glam. It was nice. Jenn Che led me in and directed me to Auroras station. After a quick consult I went back for a shampoo and to my dismay they forgot about the olaplex treatment. Back in the chair, Aurora did a thorough consultation of what I was looking for. She went through the products and started to curl my hair, plenty of hairspray later and I was done. If you looking for the perfect blowout, curls or an updo, give the Blo Dry Bar a try, the salon is sleek and modern, they don't try abs sell you, and you are in abs out within the hour. First of all, when my mother and I entered, one of the woman scheduled to do our nails (Juliet) was…read moreconfused about the kind of pedicure we wanted. She assumed we wanted the "Spa Pedi" - which was the most expensive. She was very disappointed when I told her we only wanted the "Express Pedi". She started berating us for the fact that she will now be losing money and have to just sit and wait for her next costumer. She also said something about supporting her child (Her child would have to be about 30-40yrs old from the looks of Juliet) It was VERY uncomfortable. Then when my mom asked her name, she chastised my 82 year old mother who has memory issues, for not remembering her name - since we had been there several months ago and Juliet had told her her name THEN! Again, very hostile! She also criticized my mom for cutting her nails too short and started lecturing her about how to cut her nails. It was very demeaning. The girl who did my nails was mostly quiet however seemed pretty dismissive and unfriendly as well. As my nail color was drying, I could tell there were big ridges and bumps in the polish and when I started to touch it, she yelled at me and told me not to touch it, that it was the nail oil that was still "setting". Now I've done my own nails enough to know when I see ridges and bumps in my polish - no amount of nail oil is going to fix that! Juliet put my moms toes under a drying lamp and even tho my mom told her it was touching one of her nails, she was ignored and after we walked out and looked closer at her toes, we saw that the polish on her big toe was smeared! So $55 a piece for 2 pedicures where both of us will have to redo our nails again - or live with the results! Even checking out, since we both had gift cards on file - they told my mom she had enough on hers to pay for both but then said we could use mine for the tip ($40!) I agreed, thinking she would use SOME of that credit for the tip but she assumed I meant ALL of it! - So I guess we now paid for the "Spa Pedi's" after all! I don't even care that I don't have any credit there anymore since we will never be back!
