I was referred by the receptionist to see EJ, allegedly a master stylist. Don't get me wrong, he was a nice guy and very entertaining, so note that this isn't a personality rating, but he literally did the worst job highlighting my hair. I had harsh lines, uneven color, areas totally missed, and even red tones despite the fact that the goal was blonde. After submitting photos to the salon, it was agreed that this was not a job well done and needed addressed. They wanted me to go back to EJ to which I said was not an option. If it were a minor error, I get it, but why on earth would I allow someone who did everything wrong to "fix" it? Studio 6A understood my position and as a result, they suggested that the owner be the one to fix it. However, what didn't sit well with me is that the receptionist's exact words were "she will squeeze you in and all she needs is an hour" and put me on the schedule 3 weeks later because that was all her schedule allowed for. (sidebar, I was disappointed because I did communicate via email with Nicole who later tried to tell me that they never said that all she needed was an hour- but they did). I had submitted photos to other hair stylists elsewhere and had a couple of consultations after this EJ visit and they all agreed that this would require several hours and several subsequent visits before this could really be corrected. Otherwise, I would get hair damage that I was not interested in acquiring. Studio 6A does not offer refunds but made an exception and ultimately did. However, they absolutely 'nickle and dimed' me and only refunded me the color portion on the service and not for the entire visit which was color and cut. All I will say about the cut is that all I asked for were framing layers around my face and if you aren't interested in looking like you have blunt, staircase like layers- don't have him do that either. Ultimately, this trip will cost me likely two more trips before I can have my hair look 'normal' again. Terrible experience and this sucks for me!

She said you can either have a refund or you can go get the removal which at that point I had to make a choice I have no idea how much removal is, but she was not going to help me with both then she told me that I had to wait for my refund because she uses a system to where she could not get the refund back at that point. I let her know I want to be her company, I am a business owner myself when it comes to my client I would take it out of my business account and whatever third-party or system that she uses, she should have dealt with them on their own not me needing to wait at that point I had no choice because she gave me no other options She said I finally put a review on my social media Instagram, which I also have proof of at that point she goes into my DM's threatening me to sue me get attorneys involved and she also told me I'm not getting my money. Well take that back first she said it was going to be six weeks. She never told me six weeks until now, so two weeks six weeks by the end of that conversation when I said the review is based off of my experience that I had with you and your company I have every right to express she then told me now I'm not getting anything. I also have those screenshots overall it was her because I considered her a friend, this wasn't $100 job. This was $650. She started berating us for the fact that she will now be losing money and have to just sit and wait for her next costumer. She also said something about supporting her child (Her child would have to be about 30-40yrs old from the looks of Juliet) It was VERY uncomfortable. Then when my mom asked her name, she chastised my 82 year old mother who has memory issues, for not remembering her name - since we had been there several months ago and Juliet had told her her name THEN! Again, very hostile! She also criticized my mom for cutting her nails too short and started lecturing her about how to cut her nails. It was very demeaning. The girl who did my nails was mostly quiet however seemed pretty dismissive and unfriendly as well. As my nail color was drying, I could tell there were big ridges and bumps in the polish and when I started to touch it, she yelled at me and told me not to touch it, that it was the nail oil that was still "setting". Now I've done my own nails enough to know when I see ridges and bumps in my polish - no amount of nail oil is going to fix that! Juliet put my moms toes under a drying lamp and even tho my mom told her it was touching one of her nails, she was ignored and after we walked out and looked closer at her toes, we saw that the polish on her big toe was smeared! So $55 a piece for 2 pedicures where both of us will have to redo our nails again - or live with the results! Even checking out, since we both had gift cards on file - they told my mom she had enough on hers to pay for both but then said we could use mine for the tip ($40!) I agreed, thinking she would use SOME of that credit for the tip but she assumed I meant ALL of it! - So I guess we now paid for the "Spa Pedi's" after all!
