Changing…read moremy review from 3/5 to 4/5 stars because customer service was better and the waxer, Candance, was very good. Since I haven't done other services here beside the Brazilian wax, a 4/5 overall review for this business is fair. BRAZILIAN WAX -- I visited for the first time in October 2021 for a full Brazilian wax. Much to my surprise, I came back again on 6 January 2023 for another full Brazilian Wax. This time around, I had Candance Haynes as the waxer. I preferred Candance over the person I had before (no offence) because Candance was a bit more thorough or attentive with the final cleanup process and she didn't leave any hot wax behind on my body. Overall, 5/5 stars for Candance doing such a great job on a full Brazilian Wax service. I highly recommend her especially if you hardly get this service done or if it is your first time. She doesn't accept male clients but there is another employee (Jessica I believe) who does take on male clients. I may come back for eyebrow threading in the future. I am used to getting those services done by South Asian women from India or Pakistan but I'm happy that Peach Fuzz offers this service. Thank you Candance for making this very uncomfortable Brazilian waxing experience comfortable and for being on time.

After 8 months of literally minor disappointment after every visit, I finally opened my eyes to see what I had been asking for. Everyone there has done a great job for a full set of average lashes. I did look at previous reviews on Yelp and I do agree that Laila does a great job! I called on Tuesday night and she got back to me the next morning via text to schedule an appointment for the following day. Her place is not hard to find, on the 2nd floor above Starbucks in Legacy Village. Parking meters not expensive- I just put a quarter in for 30 minutes. Upon arriving, Laila greeted me and was very nice. She asked if I had had threading before or if it was my first time and I explained that I have been threading for 2 years now. She had me lay down on her table and I explained that I wanted my eye brows kind of thin but since my eye brows are kind of straight I wanted a small arch towards the tail end. She worked very quick and paid attention to plucking the stray hairs. After she was done she showed me a mirror to look and if i wanted any changes she could do it as well. I am very happy about the threading and how my eyes turned out. Just for this one session it was $27. Granted it is waaaayyy more expensive than what I'm use to (I paid $7 + $3 tip in Houston) I would recommend Laila's business to any lady who's interested in getting threaded.

Before I booked we had a video consultation and she answered all of my questions and gave me a ton of information to read about what to expect during and after the treatment. It made me really comfortable and excited to make this investment. After the service, she had a kit with products and instructions on what to do and expect for about 2 weeks following. I booked a touch up at about the 1 year mark because it's generally recommended. However, once I got there, she took a look and informed me that I didn't need a touch up, but just a brow wax. I really appreciated this level of honesty and integrity as a business owner. There is a huge price difference between any permanent makeup procedure and a simple wax so she didn't make as much as she would have expected today. However her commitment to doing what's best for me as a client and my skin really made me feel good. I don't really do any lash services but would definitely patron Faux Real if I should in the future. Also, my eye brows look incredible! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. The space is clean and welcoming. I appreciate the ease of scheduling online and even paying the deposit when I book. All scheduling and payment is through the Vagaro app, which I appreciate because you can link a credit card there and not have to go through any weird cash app or Zelle situation at the completion of your service. I would recommend Faux Real to anyone looking for knowledgeable permanent makeup solutions and lash services.

I visited over a year ago in April 2023 and this review is being written in May 2024. CUSTOMER SERVICE -- In my experience, they have good customer service. I called last minute and I was able to get an appointment. NAILS -- There are a variety of styles and colours to choose from - you can keep your natural nails or add acrylic (fake) nails. I got acrylic nails for the first time with a pink gel polish. My actual nail service was a little rushed towards the end because I noticed that after the staff member was done, my cuticles or the skin around my nails were not smooth. There was still little bits of dry skin that could be cut or peeled off. The nail technician, a woman, didn't remove some of my dry skin around my nails. Granted, I could have said something to her afterwards but after already spending over 1 hour there, it was getting late at night and I needed to go back to my apartment. It was obvious to me though that the nail technician would know how to finalise a nail service. For such an expensive nail service, it would have been nice if they paid more attention to the little details. My cuticles and some dead skin were not done correctly. In addition, when I went back 2+ months later to have the nails removed, which I believe is free or $10, I noticed that my actual nails were brittle/soft/weak. It took over 4 months for my nails to feel strong again. A friend told me that the method that they used to remove the acrylic nails may have put too much pressure of on my actual nails and damaged them. I'm never getting acrylic nails and gel polish again whether here at Liz Nails or elsewhere. It works for some people but not for me. Gel polish is extremely hard to remove by yourself and that's not a Liz Nails business issue. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 29/150 total reviews in 2024 - 679 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 May 2024
