When I arrived, the door was locked, and the employee initially just stared at me while I tried to open it. When she finally opened the door, she said hello and immediately continued with her client. I waited about 20 minutes before being called over, even though the previous client appeared to be finished. Once she did my eyebrows, they were noticeably two different sizes. I asked if she noticed, and she said yes. She "corrected" them, but barely touched one side afterward, and I left unhappy with the results and the overall experience. It's especially disappointing because I've genuinely enjoyed coming here in the past, but after this experience, I'll be finding a new eyebrow place and unfortunately won't be returning.

I visited this salon for a Brazilian wax because it was rated 5 stars here on Yelp, but a 5 star…read moreexperience it was not. It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely not anything special. I will say that Lex was hospitable and fast, the service only took about 30 minutes. However it was disappointing on so many levels, starting with the tacky fake plants outside. The bathroom was cute and clean, but as I walked back to the appointment room there was a bunch of junk stacked by the wall, and the appointment room was brightly lit with uncomfortable paper bedding. I am used to wax spas using nice soft linens. When my wax was over she left the room and did not offer me any sort of wipe to clean up with (as is customary in my experience) and also missed quite a lot of hair in the back. When I met her at the register and told her about this she did offer to go back in and fix it, but I really didn't want to bother with going back into that gross room and undressing again. Typically at a wax spa you would be offered a hand mirror to check before they actually leave the room and have you get dressed again. I was also disturbed by the fact that there wasn't a sink or even hand sanitizer in the room. I can only hope that she was going into the bathroom between clients to wash her hands but who knows! Anyway, definitely would not return. Not for me.

I knew my lashes needed lots of love as I have been on the hunt to find a good tech with no luck. Once I walked in, she was able to tell right away that my lashes weren't great but she listened with no judgement and truly took the time to listen to what I wanted, which is just a simple classic and natural look to my lash extensions. We created a plan and she quickly got to work, she took the time to properly clean my lashes and get them looking better and explained every step to me. She consistently made sure I was comfortable and ensured to take good care of my eye area, everything was super clean. She took her time to ensure it was done right, took pictures to ensure I get the same type of lashes upon my return and ensured to point me to her website where she explains pre and post lash and eye care. Overall I am super happy with the results and feel like she brought me back to what I originally wanted which is what my original tech would do before she moved back to Houston in July. Will definitely be back again, hopefully l found the perfect match here
