The WORST pedicure I have ever received. Little to no cuticle work done (which is the main reason | get pedicures). Refused to remove dead skin and it's clear their training (or lack there of) prevents them from doing so. For the polish, she covered the nails in lotion and didn't rinse or use enough alcohol to properly remove it before painting. Whatever drying drops they used also caused the polish to dry bubbly and textured. Place was clean and staff was nice-but I now I need to remove it and do it myself. This place is fantastic!!! No chemicals they even have vegan options. They do not do acrylics or take acrylics off. The music isn't loud it's soft so you can hear each other the techs here are friendly, respectful, they try to get to know you and they are very knowledgeable. I will recommend this place and already have recommended this place it doesn't matter which tech you use they are all professionals, they know what you need. The pedicure station has copper bowls which is healthier and more beneficial. It is pricey but it is so worth it, they wouldn't try to get to get a service you wouldn't to get, so come try it at least once!!!!...... I have never felt to the need to leave a review until now. I tried this spot for the first time and was sadly disappointed. when I arrived no one acknowledged me or checked me in. I waited 20 mins after my appointment started for someone to greet me. The pedicure was not good, the gel removal was painful (painfully filed off with a nail file - ouch!) and the paint does NOT look professionally done. Cuticles were not trimmed and callouses were not scrubbed. I paid extra for an exfoliating and lotion treatment. The scrub was literally placed on the top of my foot and then I was told to rinse it off? Without scrubbing it in. Then she said I was all set. I reminded her that I had purchased the lotion too. She massaged for maybe 30 second each foot and didn't rub my calves. Tech was Paris. Will not be returning and do not recommend. plus, extremely expensive!!!! read more

I enjoyed the ambiance and space but the nails were a hit or miss. I booked for a group of three and my gel nails and my mom's dew effect mani turned out great! However my sisters mani was not so great. The first polish was old and streaky so they switched polishes and had to redo the nails. Unfortunately the other polish was also old and they had to mix it up and then switch bottles half way through.. her nails on day 2 were not looking great and cracked. From my understanding, this W Nail Bar location recently opened, and I am very glad that I decided to make an appointment! Since moving to the Cleveland area, I have had a lot of trouble finding a nail salon that can do a good regular polish mani. Most places I've tried can do great gel nails, but with regular polish I always walk out with bubbly or lumpy polish - not this time though!! I looked through some Google reviews and saw great reviews for Nicole so I booked an essential mani and essential pedi with her. I shared some of my past experiences with her and she really understood that I was nervous for the final outcome. She helped me pick my colors and was super meticulous with my nail care and painting for both my hands and my feet. I've never had such a perfect polish job. The essential mani/pedi are not the full spa services, but I feel like I got a lot for $29 and $39 respectively, which is on par with other salons I've been to. A few notes on this nail salon: their regular polish selection was limited. I'm not sure if there was a more extensive gel selection because I didn't look through, but this might be something to keep in mind if you want a very specific color or shade - they might not have it. Also, this place is very explicit about not doing dip and acrylics. I thought it was very clearly communicated to me, but in case you miss that when you're booking your appointment online, please know that if you show up looking for a dip or acrylic removal, it's simply not going to happen. read more

I got my first set of gel nails/extensions here 3 weeks ago therefore at that time was not aware that the girl did not do them correctly. Though I should have known she wasn't qualified as my nail beds were repeatitively getting burned under the setting lamp and she just kept pulling my hand out and blowing on them. The cheap supplies she had to work with should have been a clue, ie: 50 cent nail files, nearly dried up empty product bottles turned on their side to get whatever drops were left and it took her forever. When I returned to get the product off (gel x removal) a service that should only take 30 minutes took 90 minutes because this different nail tech not only also had a nearly dried up bottle of remover that wasn't penetrating what she then told me was WAY TOO MANY LAYERS OF GEL APPLIED TO and under my nails and not done right at all. I questioned why were they using horrible cheap nail files and why they weren't equipped/replenished supplies as this was an issue from my last visit, she seemed to also be unhappy about the issues. Needless to say, whatever was left of my real nails are now beyond paper thin and peeling. Note to management: Do not have techs as options if they aren't qualified to perform the services. Ensure these girls have enough supplies not working out of dried out bottles and provide them with real nail files. read more

I love W and am soooo sad we don't have one in Arizona. I used to go to the Columbus locations regularly prior to moving to Arizona last July. Now whenever I go back home (CLE or Cbus), I make it a point to get either a mani or pedi (or both!) on my trip. What I love about W is that the gel manis last almost 4 full weeks. I really don't know how they do it, but it's the only place I can find where you get your money's worth because the polish lasts so long. I am typing this out right now and it's been 3 weeks since my mani and there is only really tiny, tiny chipping and I'm sure I'll make it to 4 weeks with them still looking really good (aside from the growth, obviously lol). Pedicures here are also really luxurious and they have many different scrubs and lotions to choose from. Lastly, they have SO many gel colors. I took it for granted, but then I moved to AZ where apparently all the nail places only have 20 or so colors at any given time. The options here at W are endless and I always have a tough time picking out the color because of all the options. All told, I would love for them to open up a shop in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. They'd make a killing! In all honestly, I have stopped getting my nails done in Arizona because I'm sick of paying $50+ to have my nails chip after less than a week (and I have tried COUNTLESS places). First time in, I booked a manicure appt online, paid in advance. Needed a tip on one of my nails, I don't use acrylic, usually just my natural nails but if I break a nail, I'll get a tip put on; no big deal, usually just takes a few minutes. This "nail bar" doesn't offer tips, and since I didn't want one short nail, I asked if I could cancel with a refund. The manager said No because it wasn't within the 24 hour cancellation timeframe. So she gave me 2 choices, either I'm out $55 or I get my beautiful natural nails trimmed down to match my one broken nail. I asked for an exception she said no it's not fair to our staff, which I get but to put someone in this situation is absolutely absurd. They'd rather make a client lose out on $55, or get a very awkward, unwanted manicure, than just make an exception and help someone out. So I got a gel Manicure, wanted BLACK, they did NOT have black so I got an ugly dark purple color, and a sub-par manicure. Hands down worse manicure experience I've ever had. She is very detail oriented and made sure to check my nails several times before finishing the manicure which I so appreciated. My recent visit to W Nail Bar was nothing short of a nightmare. I couldn't be more disappointed with the service I received. The technician who worked on my nails was inexperienced (2 weeks into her career), and it showed. My nails were trimmed unevenly (even after giving feedback), polish was not completely removed, the callus treatment was subpar, and she left lotion on my toes prior to polish. The service went over in expected time. At this point, I decided it would be best that I forgo the manicure as I was dissatisfied with the service performed. I expressed concern, and let her know that I would pay for services completed. What made matters worse was the complete lack of customer service I received. The nail tech called her manager, Valerie, who was extremely rude and disrespectful. As a manager myself, I'd be embarrassed to treat customers in this manner. There was no effort to hear my concerns and she kept repeating that our nail tech "is the most highly recommended in the salon." She very rudely demanded that we pay for services booked instead of coming to a solution that satisfied all parties. She stated that the nail techs would not be paid if services were not performed, and that the schedule was fully booked. My mother and I were the only patrons in the salon, and they were turning away other walk ins that could've replaced our manicure slots. Valerie said she would connect with me Customer Service to discuss the matter further. I have yet to receive a call or email from the team, and I was charged an additional $76 today with the card on file (when I paid for services performed day of). Out of respect, I am keeping both nails techs names out of this review as they were polite and preformed the general functions of their role. I suggest you save your time and money and look for a more reputable salon that can provide adequate services for the price. read more

I've gotten my nails done here since they first opened and have never been disappointed. I love the work they do there. The service is great and very gentle on the nails. The team is very friendly and they all seem to genuinely like where they work. I've been to some of the other locations while out of town and they never disappoint. A few of the girls there do phenomenal nail art, namely Kyra and Katrina who I would definitely recommend if you want something a little ambitious or detailed. And if there's ever a problem with the gel polish within the 7 day period, they fix it right away free of charge and are very ready to work with their guests' requests and schedules. read more

I am definitely not the type to write slandering reviews but this was a rough experience. I went in for a pedicure not knowing gel removal with a pedicure was a problem. The girl taking care of me complained most of the time saying she had another appointment. When I apologized she said nothing and then accidentally cut me so bad I started bleeding because she was rushing. They skipped the scrub and relaxing portions. I had to ask for her to cut my nails. For just polish (gel) removal and painting my nails they charged 60 dollars. The space looks nice and was busy. Maybe this was a one off but was the worst experience I've had read more

I got the Dewey manicure and pedicure as long with structure gel on my nails. My nails are a lot stronger and harder than they were before! My feet feel great. She did not go too hard on me and was gentle with the foot scrubbing which I appreciate! The atmosphere makes this place even better. It is very comfortable and the workers are also nice. My person was running a few minutes behind (no biggie) the other ladies in the salon kept asking me if someone checked me in and I really appreciated that. This was the best pedicure ever! My feet were very rough (dry!). Kyra took her time, which is not something I'm used to. Usually people rush and get it over but she was very detailed and I'm super happy about that. I normally do not write two star reviews, but my experience was not the greatest. I went in today for a gel removal/gel pedicure. When I checked in, she asked if I had gel on my toes and I said yes. She told me that I wasn't scheduled for that and now she would be short on time. When I booked my appointment online I only scheduled a gel pedicure. I called shortly after and asked if I can add a gel removal as well. The employee told me she would add that to my service, however when I went in today, it wasn't on there. The lady doing my services was super unprofessional and rude. She did not look me once in the eye or acknowledge me in any way. There were multiple times I said sorry and there was no response. My pedicure is OK. I picked "It's a Girl" from OPI. I asked if she had this color in gel and she said yes. The color on my toes is not the same as I asked, but It is a nice pink.
