This was my first time at this establishment. I was in the area for a few hours and wanted to get a pedicure on a weekday to beat the Saturday rush. When I arrived, two employees were talking to each other at the front cash register. I stood there since I didnt know if i was supposed to sign in or pick a color or just wait. I felt ignored and thought to leave. I decided to stay since I had a appointment. I was then greeted a few minutes later and I mentioned i had an appointment and was there for a pedicure. The space was clean and i saw employees actively sanitizing. Tony did my pedicure and he was very nice. I would return if in the area. I paid with cash and a basic pedicure was 37. My hot towel service and my pedicure water were both not hot. If I return, I would request hotter water and warmer towels. read more

I've been on the hunt to a good quality nail salon, but unfortunately this one isn't it. I got a pedicure and had to wait about an hour for a walk in which is fine, but they sat me in a pedicure chair turned on the water and walked away. I had to ask someone else to turn off the water because it was about to overflow then the original girl who turned it on SPRINTED back to turn it off and was apologizing. But never asked me about the water temperature which was scalding hot and obviously steaming so I couldn't even put my feet in. Then someone who came in after me got their pedicure first and a second person that also came in after me was going to get theirs started until another employee yelled at them to do mine first instead. Then the actual pedicure wasn't great. He did not scrub my feet or even trim down my cuticles which are some of the most basic parts of a pedicure?? First time at Jojo's Nail Spa about 7 weeks ago. Since then, I have made 3 additional appointments. I appreciate Jojo greeting me everytime I've walked in. I am extremely meticulous and mentioned prior to booking that I'd prefer someone who is precise and attentive. I ended up with Sha Sha, and she was wonderful. Her station is to the right once you enter the spa. I was transferred to her chair shortly after another technician had started, and she immediately took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad she spent a good amount of time asking and confirming because there was miscommunication and misunderstanding from the first technician. In this transition, she even consulted with Jojo, the owner, to confirm my desired nails for today's visit. Shasha is extremely detail-oriented: checking the shape after each nail, confirming the correct color of my powder base before starting, asking about my preferred French tip thickness, and pausing every couple of nails to ensure everything met my standards. I definitely gave feedback as she was working on my nails, and she made sure to complete everything to my liking. I truly appreciated her patience, communication, and commitment to getting every detail right. I know I am high maintenance; however, I certainly made our experience together worthwhile. Thanks again, Sha Sha. FYI --They take both cash and card payments. There is a 5% discount on cash payments. If you use their ATM, there is a $2 fee. There is no added tip line when you pay with a card, so cash, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp tip is preferred. I think all of the technicians have a QR code to scan for tips. read more

My only gripe is that it was a busy day which is fine but I just felt bad that the owner who did my nails was so busy with directing everyone she seemed like she was preoccupied mentally as she did my nails. Got my nails done like two weeks ago after the first week two of them were peeled off slightly, they offered to redo these two for me However the rest were very bad quality cuz they are all peeled off completely and it hurts my nails It also caused onycholysis Be careful to choose you nail tech some of them are not even trained (I went with my friend and it was under her name Alisa. Not saying that this is a bad place just that I unluckily received service from an unskilled technician. She got her done with Ivy and it was great. I'm really happy with how my nails turned out. The shaping was amazing, and the second nail tech was incredibly skilled at that part. The team is very dedicated and makes sure you leave satisfied. That said, the process felt a bit chaotic as I was served by four different people, and the design took way longer than it should have. They also don't have a set price for designs. It's not $5 as advertised, which I figured since that sounded too cheap, but instead, the price seems to depend on what the nail tech decides. If you're looking for well-done, simple nails, this is a great place to go. However, I'm not even sure they offer complicated designs because even doing simple hearts for Valentine's Day seemed like a hassle. Response : I did have an appointment. So today I went in for a fill-in acrylic set with cat eye gel, walk in btw. The receptionist was sweet but I'm convinced they put kind of put me with someone who isn't 100% mindful of quality and neatness. The guy they placed me with was a bit rough with my hands and was super heavy with the filing/Dremel of my nails to the point where I felt the heat of the Dremel through my nail. I also had a previous square set and assumed he would have touched up my shape, but he didn't even file them neatly or care how they looked. I came into JoJo's Nail Salon expecting a simple, relaxing afternoon with a basic mani and pedi. Instead, I spent the entire visit fending off the EXTREMELY aggressive upselling of Dee. From the start, she made it clear she had no interest in listening to me. Every request I made was ignored, and at one point she actually told me: "let the artist do what the artist wants to do." Excuse me? I'm the paying customer. Instead of the simple, clean look I asked for, she kept pushing gaudy nonsense like rhinestones, flowers, and other tacky add-ons. When I declined, she actually told me what I wanted was "too plain" and not good enough. Who does she think she is?! She also would not stop telling me I "HAD TO" upgrade to a more expensive pedicure--no less than six times. By the time I went to pay, the higher-priced pedicure was sneakily added to my bill. When I questioned it, the staff at the desk started talking over me quickly, clearly trying to confuse and embarrass me. I was so frustrated I just paid and left. If I could've walked out with wet feet, I absolutely would have. Unfortunately, I tried to remain professional--something Dee and this salon clearly do not understand. I will be filing complaints with both the BBB and the Ohio Attorney General's Office. No customer should be treated with such disrespect, dishonesty, and pushy sales tactics. Save yourself the headache--there are plenty of salons that respect their clients. This is NOT one of them. read more

The nail services are decent but the wait time can be just awful. I've gone to this Salon at least 4 times, all of which I made appointments, and for 3/4 of those appointments I still had to wait 15-25min. The salon is always busy (which is a good thing) but I'm not sure why the salon even takes appointments if those times are not accommodated as scheduled. read more

I have tried 2 different technicians for a manicure and dip, The polish chipped on 3 different nails within 2 days after my initial visit and I returned for nail repair. This was done without a problem. I decided to try another technician on my second visit and this time it was 4 days before I had an issue. My dip generally lasts 2 weeks with no chipping. I only return because of new growth. I did not go back as this was becoming costly and time consuming . I have had dip on my nails for over 2 years without an issue so I know this is not the norm. On the positive side the salon is clean and I had no issue with my pedicure. May return for pedicure but not for nail service. read more
