And the woman really got my callouses well- one thing I always look forward to and a lot of places don't take care of my callouses, so I was happy! I have noticed, in general, that women tend to take their time over men. My mom had the gentleman and it seemed like he was a bit faster than the woman. This is something I just observe everywhere I go. But my mom was very pleased. I may be more critical than she is haha. Overall, I'm very very happy and will continue to come here whenever I visit. I call my nail tech a doctor because he keeps me from having to go to the podiatrist. I always make an appointment. Don't just expect to walk in and get serviced right away. Be courteous and respectful of their timing and schedules as well. And please always make sure to tip!! They work long, hard hours, 6 days a week with hardly any breaks for eating. I signed in and had to soak off my gel polish. No one checked on me to see how the gel was coming off. I wound up scraping it off myself and going to the front desk to explain it was done, since they were calling people who signed in after me to get started on their services. I asked for my nails to be filed round, and they are square. I had to ask my manicurist to cut my nails shorter, she didn't prompt anything or ask my preferences. I asked her to push back my cuticles and then cut them (some people prefer not to do that, but I asked), and she just cut what was loose rather than pushing back all the dead skin. I also had to ask AND show my manicurist to re-file some nails, as some were jagged and rough, or uneven. Polish was left on my skin as well. Maybe it just depends on who you get for your service, but I will absolutely not be going back or recommending this place.
