I will say that Lex was hospitable and fast, the service only took about 30 minutes. However it was disappointing on so many levels, starting with the tacky fake plants outside. The bathroom was cute and clean, but as I walked back to the appointment room there was a bunch of junk stacked by the wall, and the appointment room was brightly lit with uncomfortable paper bedding. I am used to wax spas using nice soft linens. When my wax was over she left the room and did not offer me any sort of wipe to clean up with (as is customary in my experience) and also missed quite a lot of hair in the back. When I met her at the register and told her about this she did offer to go back in and fix it, but I really didn't want to bother with going back into that gross room and undressing again. Typically at a wax spa you would be offered a hand mirror to check before they actually leave the room and have you get dressed again. I was also disturbed by the fact that there wasn't a sink or even hand sanitizer in the room. I can only hope that she was going into the bathroom between clients to wash her hands but who knows! Anyway, definitely would not return. Not for me.

Her place is not hard to find, on the 2nd floor above Starbucks in Legacy Village. Parking meters not expensive- I just put a quarter in for 30 minutes. Upon arriving, Laila greeted me and was very nice. She asked if I had had threading before or if it was my first time and I explained that I have been threading for 2 years now. She had me lay down on her table and I explained that I wanted my eye brows kind of thin but since my eye brows are kind of straight I wanted a small arch towards the tail end. She worked very quick and paid attention to plucking the stray hairs. After she was done she showed me a mirror to look and if i wanted any changes she could do it as well. I am very happy about the threading and how my eyes turned out. Just for this one session it was $27. Granted it is waaaayyy more expensive than what I'm use to (I paid $7 + $3 tip in Houston) I would recommend Laila's business to any lady who's interested in getting threaded.

I rang the bell and was approached by behind by a lady and I advised I was there for my appointment. I was let in and told to come into a room. I was not asked for my name or my problem areas or preferred pressure. I was not told what to expect either, so I just went with the flow. The actual massage was really good and relaxing and the location was very clean The massage therapist did at least talk to me at the end, but just to tell me to pull up my groupon, tell me about other services and wish me a good day. All in all, customer service stuff can be taught. The actual service was great so I would return. Maybe they can earn a 5 star next time.

My aesthetician was very pleasant and friendly. But the wax didn't go as it usually does. The wax was too hot. The after cream wasn't applied despite my skin being red. She didn't really check with me on any concerns - such as whether the wax was too hot or if I liked my brows. It was very speedy visit without focus on quality. There was no after work on my eyebrows with twizzers whatsoever. As always after European Wax visit I went over the work with twizzers later. No one asked me whether I liked my eyebrows or experience. Their work is always so minimalistic for being experts in waxing. The waiting room was filled upon my arrival. There were five other clients waiting, none looked pleased. At one point there were not enough chairs in the waiting room to accompany all guests. Few guests asked about their appointments running late, multiple were called to inform them about the news (with no definitive time to arrive). Some disgruntled guest called in. From the conversation it was evident that their discount wasn't applied and will not be honored (for a referral). They also were apparently burned during an appointment. One of the clients walked out with clear wax residue on her leg. I've witnessed so many problems in my short time in the lobby that it was overwhelming. Prices went up and were corrected on the menu. The salon posted new rules everywhere. No client looking for higher end-ish experience wants to be surrounded by so many rules and signs. It's not tasteful or relaxing. Here are all the new rules. There are no pictures allowed on their premises including the lobby or rooms. Guests with kids under 8 years of age must take them back to the room during the appointment. I can't even imagine how this works to be honest. There is also a rule that if you're in the bathroom, this time counts against your grace period. So it's possible that you won't be admitted to your appointment even if you're physically at the location. I practically live at different salons and I have never seen anything as strange. I didn't want to read the rules but they were everywhere! I used to like European Wax because it was a quick get in and out, nice place, but it lost its appeal. Too many problems for less than average appointments. As always, I'm not impressed with European Wax. I'd rather go somewhere else next time.

I won't say who my waxer was, but the whole service seemed very rushed & somewhat unprofessional. We started about 10 minutes late, so right off the bat I knew it would be rushed so that she could catch up with her time for her next clients. As far as the unprofessional aspect of my service, my waxer remained in the room while I undressed & dressed before/after the service, which is absolutely unheard of in any field of service. She knew it was my first ever wax, let alone a Brazilian, which is extremely nerve wracking as is. Thankfully, I wasn't too uncomfortable with the fact that she remained in the room while i got undressed, but I definitely know people who would have been very affected by that, especially for their first ever wax. On top of all that, I woke up this morning with basically raw skin on my pubic area. It is extremely irritated and tender to the touch and I'm very upset about it. She did multiple waxes in the same areas, which was needed because of my very coarse hair. Although I know she was trying to help by making sure she got all the hairs, as a professional it is your job to know when to stop/switch things up to ensure your clients safety, whether it's the result they want or not. Lastly, we were supposed to do a test strip before my session because I mentioned I was on acne medication and the front desk said it would be necessary to do that in case i have a bad reaction. Due to the time crunch with my waxer running late, we never did the test strip. Overall, i'm pretty disappointed with my experience and would not recommend to my friends/family.

I did the Gel Spa Manicure for $50 including an exfoliating scrub and lotion massage. It was so relaxing. Kim did a really good job and took her time to make sure everything looked good from the filing, cuticles, to the amount of gel layers I wanted, and at the end she made sure there was no jagged edges and if so filed it nicely. The prices are unbeatable, especially with the food service. I'm excited to go back.

But it continues to be painful and still infected now (over a month since the original appt). My toe is swollen and has throbbing pain. I have gone to multiple doctors appointments and tried different antibiotics, hoping the next one will finally treat me. I don't know if it was dirty tools, or if they dug too deep into the skin around my big toe nail, but I have never had an issue with this before in my life (I have done my own nails and gone to other spas). I am glad other people had good experiences here, but I don't think I can do a pedicure again after the amount of pain my toe has caused me. I don't want to risk getting another infection. I really hope whoever is in charge can improve sanitary conditions and/or train new hires to be more careful to prevent deep infections like this. I hope my condition is an outlier and that most customers are not having such poor experiences. ‍ UPDATE (7/1/26): I ended up having to remove my whole toe nail. I had to drive over an hour to the only podiatrist available on a short notice because I could not take the pain any longer.

He offered instead he could skip the manicure part and just freshen up my nails with gel and get me out quicker, which he then charged me even less for. I was glad I stayed because he did a great job on both. Glad I have a nail salon again, they also give you a bottle of water and the massage chair I set in was actually really good. I'm a fan!
