i've come here twice. i already had feelings of judgement my first two appointments as the staff is very unfriendly. it is a cold atmosphere. today was even worse. i made an appointment for 3:00 and i arrived 5 minutes early for a french tip pedicure. i waited 40 minutes after my appointment time just to be told i could not be serviced. this honestly shocked me from how incredibly inconsiderate, unprofessional it was. i also was the only one being questioned every time i got up or said anything. i felt racially profiled and it has ruined my day. 0/10 would never come here again. read more

I called ahead on Saturday, the day before Easter, and was happy to find out they could squeeze in my mom and I. We wanted basic manicures with a polish. Coming in we were told where the polishes were and got to take our time to pick out the colors without feeling rushed. I went for a purple/lavender color for a spring-like feel while my mom went for a chrome rose pink. When we were ready, we were immediately seated. Hannah did my nails and she was amazing! Very personable and pleasant to talk to while being very precise. The arm and hand massage were very nice. She made the entire experience so wonderful! My mom had a woman named V(?) do her nails. She really liked her. V was very gentle, a big plus considering my mom's skin is sensitive and thin, and efficient as well as just being very nice. After our nails were done, my mom and I sat at the drying area just talking. We didn't feel rushed to leave as has been the case at other places. The manicures were $16 or so each, not too bad! Plus, it's been almost 3 days and my nails haven't chipped at all! Definitely recommend this place, especially if you ask for Hannah or V! read more

Thought this was my new spot after Leo nails in the area never had enough people and couldn't keep their appointments. I was having very nice experiences here. Probably have been coming consistently for 8-9 months? It started with a clearly irritated women calling me at 2:04 when my appointment was at 2 demanding to know where I was. I was in the parking lot and apologized for running a few minutes behind. (even though the nail salon was pretty empty and some of the techs were sitting in the pedicure chairs?) But charging customers for accidentally dropping and breaking a thing of nail polish?.... and $7 for a bottle from their shelf that was more than half used?? I apologized profusely. Offered to clean it up (but didn't want to make any more of a mess). They do have a sign and so I paid it as their policy is clearly stated and not worth arguing about. I would have understood if it was a retail item or a brand new unopened bottle. But seriously... Accidents happen and I'm totally turned off from here. Do restaurants charge you if you accidentally drop your drink? Will the grocery store if you knock over an item in the aisle? I hope the system of charging people is working for them in terms of not losing money over broken items and best of luck. I will not be coming back. read more

very disappointed I went for pedicure and had gel removed from fingernails and regular manicure. girl was not friendly, filed uneven and bad trim on cuticles. I have been looking for a new nail place since the most recent one I've been frequenting has gone downhill (Anthony Vince nail salon at the old parma town mall area) anyways I went into extreme nails (which had better reviews) and I was told to go down the street to Le Nails (which I had passed on my way to Xtreme Nails) anyways I was told no openings for at least 2-3hrs but that I should go 2mins away and visit "Le Nails" (apparently the owner owns both places!) anyways I went to Le Nails and had a terrible SNS (Dip nails) experience not only did the color not match but the whole place was kinda nasty and unclean... after my 50 min nail visit (which only included a removal of old polish and the new SNS nail dip procedure lol and I laugh because it was a joke! For $65 go spend your money elsewhere. After my visit I immediately went back to Xtreme Nails where I tried to have a walk in at and he said "well you should go back to where you got them from" which I replied, "you're the one who sent me there! I didn't want to go there to begin with based on the reviews!" In the end he gave me his card & said come back tomorrow we will fix them... who has time like that! Anyways it hasn't even been 4 days and here is what my nails look like! So happy I spent $65 on literally nothing! I'm better of where I started when the nails at least lasted a week! See pics! Highly recommended by one of my coworkers and Le Nails did not disappoint! This Broadview Heights location has no connection with the other Le Nails salons, they just kept the same name from my understanding. Anyway, I needed a last minute appointment and was only available after 6. I got there around 630pm. I thought it would've been a problem, but they were extremely accommodating and even stayed until after close to finish my nails. I was very happy with the end result. I opted for acrylic nails, although they did advise against it since I have fairly healthy nails. Being the hard headed person that I am, still insisted on the acrylics full set and requested the coffin shape. She did a wonderful job! Went here a few weeks ago and had a horrible experience. I went in for acrylics, and as soon as I got there the receptionist was rolling her eyes at me and being passive aggressive. My nail tech then told me that the color I picked out (pastel pink) wouldn't look good on my nails, and kept trying to change my mind about the color. THEN as I was scrubbing my nails in the back, she yelled at me "Chop chop I don't have all day". I was baffled at how rude the service was. Once I left and got in my car I then noticed that my one nail had a chip on it, but I was too frustrated to go back in to have it fixed. Salon was beautiful and very clean from what I could see. But a day after everything started to go wrong. First my dip nails were already cracking. Then, she had cut my thumb cuticle and my big toe cuticle way too deep and now are both infected. I get pedicures on the regular and manicures and have never had this problem before. Not sure if it was the tools or the girl's technique. It's been a week since then and they are still badly infected. Tried to call to explain and they hung up on me. I have become a 'regular' at Le Nails since the top of 2018, and I love it. The staff is experienced, professional, friendly, and can accomplish your mani/pedi's within a timely manner. The atmosphere is aesthetically appealing, very clean cut and open. I suggest making appointments opposed to walking in because the staff is constantly busy and they do have a huge regular based clientele. I get both services (mani/pedi) from here. And I always leave feeling like a knockout. I started doing the 'Dip' nail powder on my natural nails. I make my appointments with Steven who saved my nails!! I had no length and was dealing with stubby, always breaking, short, un-feminine nails until he got ahold of them. I am also a mother who deals with a toddler all day and house work to the point polish just doesn't cut it. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a nail technician to take care of you the way you deserve. He prefers to use the 'Dip' powder to appease my goal of having natural nails. I am admittedly a huge nail snob. After moving here from SoCal where there is a nail salon on every corner, I really struggled to find someone who did what I feel is an excellent job. I went all over Cleveland to different salons, had many botched jobs and started to accept that just like the weather can be here in Ohio at times, I would have to also deal with ugly nails of the rest of my life (dramatic, yes, but thats how I felt, haha)! Now I do have to say that sometimes it just all depends on your nail tech, the location is not always to blame. I am not a person who thinks that ambiance is all that important as long as the job is done well, so when coming to Le Nails, it is kind of like you would expect a nail salon to be- no frills or fanciness but it's clean, they have a great selection of gel color and the employees are very nice and welcoming. Randomly one day I stumbled upon Le Nails per the recommendation of an acquaintance and found Kervin who is just hands down the BEST! I think that he is probably the best nail tech that I have ever had and trust me when I say that I am PICKY. He is incredibly thorough, takes his time to make sure that every gel finger and toe is perfectly smooth, painted and shaped properly. Plus, I happen to think that he is just a really nice, guy whom I enjoy seeing religiously every two weeks which is just a bonus when you are having a service done. I have been going to LeNails for years. I find that people who post negative reviews usually only go to a location once and never approach the manager or owner about any problems they have had. Brian is very friendly and wants to make sure you get the service you deserve. I have had multiple people do my nails and mine are NOT easy. The technique is one of the most difficult and my nails always one out great. I have also been using Seta for my pedicures for over 8 years. She is the best! Kervin did my nails and he was polite and careful. however I had a nail that chipped the very next day and when i came in, they would not fit me in even though I was the mother of the bride and needed to be in Columbus later that day. The owner was rude and non caring. All she cared about was making money and not helping with a problem.I have sent people there in the past, and now I am spreading the word not to revisit this place.It is a shame because most of the people working there are very nice....too bad the owner is quite the opposite. I went in to have my nails fixed after a bad gel application from another salon. I am very specific about what I want and thoroughly explained this to my nail tech. He had the audacity to tell me I was wrong and went ahead and did what he thought would look good on my nails and tried to over charge me. Everyone in the salon was very rude and short with me. I have never gone out of my way to leave a negative review, but I had an unexpectedly bad experience with Steve...it seemed he was irritated I came in right before they were to close this evening. He could have turned me away? But he begrudgingly, while letting out a sigh and rolling his eyes, took me in as his last customer of the night. And it just went downhill from there...I wont be going back, ever, let's just get that out there right now. So here we go: I explained I had regular polish on, and that all I needed was a gel polish, no manicure. He then asked me if I had gel polish on. Steve doesn't listen very well. I then said to him, I just told you I have regular polish on, so no need to soak off. I guess correcting him was embarrassing. He then was offended he didn't remember my name, but that I remembered his. He then said, "was our conversation memorable? You must not have left an impression! Excuse me, what? He then took a personal phone call while doing my nails. And then I stuck my hand under the portable gel light fixture, which was corroded with nastiness, and of course, he was offended I pointed it out. At this point, I was ready to walk out with my nails half done. I then got a hot flash (menopause sucks!), and he just said, Whoa! Is it hot in here or something? Ya, kiddo, don't make fun of me like that. He predictably handed out a few more passive-aggressive digs, and I just couldn't believe I was being treated so poorly. Obviously, I didn't leave a tip. We all have bad days, but this was above and beyond. No one should be treated like that when you are spending your hard-earned money. It was a tense and awkwardly uncomfortable visit. I have been going to (Ma Ma) Setha for years now. I even followed her from a Brecksville location into Broadview Heights. Despite the longer drive for me, it's well worth it. She does a wonderful job with the services I request (full acrylic sets, fills and pedicures). Setha is always so pleasant. I even took my brother (visiting from AZ) in there once for a pedicure and he still raves about it. Plus Setha never fails to ask about him. All the providers in the salon are extremely friendly. I highly recommend the Broadview Heights Le Nails location and Setha in particular. I am always being complimented on my nails. I walked in around 2:30pm on a Friday expecting a wait, but they took me right away for a pedicure. From start to finish the service/pedi was phenomenal. It must have been my lucky day since Cita "mamacita" was available to do my pedi. She is an expert. I have gone to many other manicurists in the past and Cita surpassed them all. Went to Le nails after researching online to find a nail salon near Solon. I was specifically looking for reviews that said their nail tech didn't make the nails with the "lift" look. Le nails had a review such as that so off I went. I knew I was in trouble when they said they didn't do American white, should have faked a cold right there and walked out. Billy did my nails, he was nice to talk to however when it came to what I wanted he always had something to say. I am very picky,wanting them to look as natural as possible! I get artificial nails to try to keep myself from biting and hopefully this time will be the last time I bite them down to nothing thus starting all over again. I digress.... I like the nails very short and rounded- Billy thought otherwise, he referenced the rounded tip to that of what old women want. I am a 25 year old knowing what I want. Through the whole time he was trying to get me to get the french tip with another layer of the pink(which I wasn't getting the pink gel in the first place) this of course was more money. So it was nearing the end and I asked if he could thin the nails out as the gel seemed very thick... surprise surprise he said he couldn't get them thinner because they were "pretty thin already" and once they grow out of the tips they would be thinner. Well it was in my experience that I have definitely had much much thinner gels, and I wouldn't want to wait for them to grow out. I walked out with thick square nails after attempts to make it how I want; I tipped him and knew I wouldn't be back. When I needed my nails filled I did not go back to Le Nails. I had a full set of acrylics and gel polish yesterday. The shape is beautiful a mix between oval and stiletto and the Tech was very efficient. The gel not so much.. I felt like she rushed the gel Polish and I'm left with bubbles in the gel and also feels unfinished on some nails.. easy to peel off if caught or picked.
