Was extremely, pleasantly surprised by this place. I live nearby and needed a nail place since I moved here from California. I finally decided to go in and give it a try even though the reviews scared me away previous times. David did a really great job and paid great attention to detail, I got the pedicure for $30 but sprung for the $5 upgrade for the extra leg massage which was worth it. My toes looked so bad going in he really cleaned up the broken nails to look new again. Then, I wanted a gel manicure($33) but was running out of time and had to let him know. He offered instead he could skip the manicure part and just freshen up my nails with gel and get me out quicker, which he then charged me even less for. I was glad I stayed because he did a great job on both. Glad I have a nail salon again, they also give you a bottle of water and the massage chair I set in was actually really good. I called at 12:30 and they were able to get me in for an express pedi at 1:30. Got there, soaked my feet while sitting in the massage chair while I waited. Christi is fabulous! So friendly, we talked on a couple topics but she wasn't going on and on which I appreciated. $26 - good price and my toes look great! Definitely going back! read more

I was looking for a place to get my nails done and came upon Nails Creation which had good reviews. Turns out that's not the company that owns the building anymore. The nail salon is actually called Mr. O's nails+. They have been there for over a year and haven't changed the sign. Very nice staff but talks a lot and is very open with her life. It took her 2 hours to do my nails. She told me she likes to take her time when doing peoples nails so she can make them look perfect. She talked smack on every other nail salon, especially the Asian salons. She said that they always rush and the nails come out bad- in the end she actually did a terrible job on my nails. I've been to 4 different nail salons since I've been getting mine done and this is by far the worst I've ever went to. She left acrylic on my actual nail around my cuticle. You can see that in the photo clearly how awful they are. She did a bad job cleaning them up as well. I had the matte top coat that lasted 2 days and wore off. Just ONE WEEK later they were lifting so I had to pay for another full set somewhere else. It isn't cheap getting your nails done and you shouldn't have to get them REDONE ONE WEEK LATER. My 5 year old daughter and I came in today for pedicures. They are doing some remodeling, but the salon is still very neat and tidy. Our tech was very friendly and did a great job with our pedicures. The best part of our visit was the interaction with the owner. He is such a nice gentleman and was so good with my daughter. My daughter's pedicure was done before mine, so he entertained her while I finished up. The place is clean, the pedicures are great, but the owner really made our visit. We will make this our regular nail salon from now on. read more

I visited Nails Creation on July 13. Overall I am happy but there are a few things which prevent me from giving it a glowing review - one item in particular. I had a pedicure and a manicure in which I received acrylic nails. I loved the pedicure - she did a great job! The only thing I noticed was her long hair was not pulled back and a few times her hair went into the polish on my toes. Ewwww The manicure was ok - she did a fabulous job in shaping my nails but after only a few days there is a noticeable gap between the cuticle and the polish - I've never had that happen so soon after getting acrylic nails before. When I arrived the one girl was giving the other a pedicure but they stopped what they were doing and waited on me. I waited about three minutes? Both girls were super friendly - I believe the owner? was coming in late that day. But the girls were friendly and courteous and easy to talk to. Now my problem - when I left and got to my car I remembered that I wanted to ask if I could buy some extra polish. Due to an ankle injury I didn't want to get out of the car and go back in if the answer was a "no". So I decided to call to save myself the trip. Problem was they did not answer the phone so I had to go back in anyway. When I got back inside there were no customers and they were doing the pedicure thing again. They just didn't answer the phone - not very professional. I haven't decided if I'll go back or try another salon next time I want a manicure. A+ pedicure. Paint job is perfect. Nail shaping is great, and I have no dry skin around my nails even a day later. Very smooth and couldn't have asked for more. Got the simplest pedi they offer ($30). Fair price (some cheapy quality nail places in the area charge $40-45 for their basic!). Great foot and leg massage. Kennedy did it and she took her time and seemed to care about quality. Maybe I coulda even had a bit harder of a scrub/scrapedown of my soles. But that's it. I have simple needs. They did a good job. (And service was attentive, done with a smile, and made sure I was comfortable, offering me magazines and water.) read more

We had an unfortunate experience at this salon. We were the only people in the salon so you'd think they could get reasonable customer service but :( My mother in law has only had a pedicure one other time in her life. Unfortunately they cut her foot (it bled) and were generally rushed. Not a good experience for the price. read more

I had the worst "manicure" I have ever had in my life, if you could even call it a manicure. I went in to get a shellac manicure, the shaping and cuticle aspect went fine but when she put on a base coat it kept warping and creating bumps. When I mentioned it she said "oh that's weird" but kept going and said to try putting it under the light to see if that made it better. It stayed the same so they buffed it off and tried another layer. Same thing again even after I asked them to try another bottle but they refused. After a third attempt they said it might just be my nails. I had to leave so I asked them to remove it so that I could go. They continued to buff it off causing me to bleed. I told them to stop and that I would take it off myself, but they still made me pay for a regular manicure. They buffed my nails so much that my nails are so thin and keep breaking. They should never have buffed it so much, acetone is the better option. Worst customer service, the owner was even there and did nothing about it. read more
