I came here because it is close to my house- I didn't read the reviews and I'm glad I didn't! I was greeted warmly and seen immediately without an appointment. It was a busy Saturday but they were adequately staffed. I highly recommend Tam who spent a lot of time filing my nails to this shape at my request. We also had a nice conversation. I actually waited a whole week to write this review to see if the "dip" I got ($35) would stay strong and it's perfect- I work with my hands and do a lot of dishes and not a single chip! Got gel done on Thursday, 2 nails already chipped by Thursday night so I went in Friday to get them fixed. The technician fixed them Friday and Saturday it chipped even worse. They were closed Sunday so I went in Monday and told the older man working there what happened. His response was "next time get dip it lasts longer" I replied politely "I always get dip somewhere else, I wanted to try gel again like I've had before it's should last at least a week without chipping." He had an attitude fixing my nails for me after I paid $45 on Thursday to return twice to get them fixed. Would not recommend this place to anyone, the man was rude, and acted like I was an inconvenience for his company doing a crappy job on my nails. He did an awful job fixing my nail and pulled the gel off making my nail even more brittle. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

Was looking for a new nail salon in the area and came across this one on accident. I decided to give it a try and it really turned out to be a great find! I regularly get my nails done (at least once a month), and am picky because I get shellac. I have found upscale salons to be the worst at this so I am all about the small mom and pop salons. That's exactly what this is. Do not expect anything fancy. They have pedicure chairs with the massaging units in them (what more do you need?!), and plenty of manicure stations. They take appointments but also do walk-ins. I've never had to wait very long. There is a large selection of shellac colors to choose from. I've been here four or five times now and each time they have done a very nice job. The shellac has lasted at least 2 weeks with no chipping. I just starts to grow out at that time, which is to be expected. It is also very affordable. $25 for a Shellac manicure. Less for just a shellac change. They do take credit card but ask for tips in cash if possible (the fees add up!) Definitely worth checking out! read more

My experience here has been awful. I have been to this nail salon on several different occasions, but this past one was the worst. An earlier occasion was getting a pedicure with my mother. We had an appointment, but my nail tech started on my pedicure about 10-15 before they started on my mom's so they were almost done with mine when they started my mom's so we couldn't enjoy it together. This last experience has been the worst. I decided to get a full set of acrylics for prom. I believe it was the owner of the salon that worked on me. I felt extremely rushed. I have had acrylics before, so I know what they're supposed to look like. The nails are extremely thick and uneven. The acrylic starts too far away from my cuticle and they already look like they're grown out. And he didn't clean up the acrylic that is still attached to the sides of my nails that's cemented to the sides of my cuticles. One nail is even CROOKED!!!! He did not file neatly and I left with acrylic shavings still attached to my nails. The nail polish was uneven also. He also got dirt on my nail polish and put a top coat over the dirt anyway. He was also extremely rude to me. I told him I wanted a coffin shape, but I didn't want them to be very long since it's very impractical and he told me that they have to be a certain length. I said that I didn't want the coffin then and wanted to say I want a rounded square kind of look. In the middle of me trying to explain that, he interrupted me and did the coffin anyways. I kept telling him I wanted it shorter than that and he ended up yelling "oh my god! Why didn't you tell me!" It was extremely disrespectful. He was also hurting me! He was filing my nail so hard that the tip came off on a couple nails. On the first nail that broke he said "s**t!" Extremely unprofessional!!! Had a French tip manicure done and the next day almost all of my nails were chipped. I work in an office and was very disappointed that my manicure hardly lasted 12 hours. This is my 3rd bad experience here. I tried to give them another chance and all it did was remind me of why I didn't go there for 2 1/2 years. read more

I would NOT recommend this nail salon for gel manicures. The owner is very impatient, and rushes you through the service. In addition, the quality of the polish they used - Just Gel - and it didn't last 4 days. Not worth the money - go elsewhere. read more

I visit an old friend of mine twice a year at her home over here in Ohio and this time we thought we'd both go and treat ourselves to getting our nails done. The service was very nice and the salon was clean and tidy. There wasn't a wait so de got in without a reservation no problem. The woman and man working with us were very sanitary and did a fine job but nothing spectacular, if not a little slow. My one complaint though is that now, two days after having a standard manicure and pedicure applied, both of our nail polish has chipped to the point where it needs to be removed so it won't look bad any more. Both of our nails began to chip within 24 hours of application which is strange for me, as a usual manicure lasts about a week in my case. They also didn't get all of my nails and left quite a large gap between my newly trimmed cuticles and the rest of the painted section. I can understand a little but this seems like a lot. The manicure and pedicure was $48.04 without tip which seems a little expensive for something that didn't last as long as normal and I can easily find a mani-pedi back home in Pittsburgh for $30 that will last. Over all, not thrilled, and probably won't come back next time I'm in town, but it wasn't the worst place I've ever been. read more

My girlfriend and I came here for pedicures bc her mother in law had gotten her a gift card since it's her go to nail spot. I called on Monday and made appointments for two pedicures at 10am when they opened. We got there ten minutes till and there was already someone there and three nail techs. We were immediately showed to our chairs with water filling up. My girl started right away and said the other tech would be there soon. I was practically done with my pedicure and my girlfriends water was getting cold when another tech walked through the door and slowly made her way over to my friends chair. She didn't say hello or sorry for being late and didn't speak to my friend at all. My tech, at the very least was polite and efficient. My friends tech barely touched her feet during the massage portion mainly focused on her calfs. My pedicure was not bad by any means and was inexpensive but, the experience overall was terrible seeing as while I enjoyed my pedicure my girlfriend waited and frustrated. What's the point of making appointments if they can't manage their time, needless to say I will never return. read more

Terrible service. I made an appointment and they took a walk in before me. I had a shellac mani, which I've had several times, and they applied the color very splotchy and you can see the tips of my nails hanging out from the polish. There is shellac top coat and color all over my cuticles and stuck under my fingernails. The worst manicure I've ever had. There are plenty of other nail places in the area do not waste your time at this one unless you just like a trashy manicure. read more
