Oh Seven Shores, how worthy you are of my praise…read more This has got to be one of THE spots I need to hit up when I am in KW. I love their concept, honouring the Earth-compostable containers, serving up local fare- supporting the surrounding area and being housed in a building with yoga. I cannot remember if this is a co-op or not. This place is definitely a hot spot, as it is usually always busy. And honestly, hits all the points for me... great space, both outdoor and indoor seating, food selection is varied and oh so scrumptious, their staff are professional and friendly. On a first name basis with their regulars. Whether it be a salad, a coffee and muffin, or a soup and burger, there is nothing you can't order that would not be mouth watering and well worth it. Generally I stick to my usual plant based burger. I have ordered it multiple times and it is always delicious. Sometimes, it's a long wait, yet whenever I take a bite I am reminded how worth the wait it is. I've dined in for breakfast, treated a friend to lunch. It is such a pleasure to enjoy this beautiful venue and experience it differently every time. If you live in the area, take a walk, hop on the bike, bus, scooter or get in the car and take a friend, you will be delighted! Thank you Seven Shores for being here and to all the lovely staff, you're awesome and appreciated. I very much look forward to my next visit.

They have your common cafe options and flavored syrups to choose from, along with a variety of tea. The server was very kind and was willing to think up something unique for me when I asked if they had any specials. I went with a hot classic Hazelnut latte. The coffee was creamy, not too sweet, and the hazelnut was subtle. They had different pastries, sandwiches, and cakes to choose from. I got a bacon egg croissant sandwich, which they kindly heated up. I really liked the croissant they used; it wasn't so flaky that with every bite I was making a mess. The tomato jam they used was sweet but paired really well with the ingredients! Honestly would love to try to recreate this at home because it was just that good. It was a warm cozy place, small area with a small side table with about 3-4 bar stools; it's connected to the restaurant (The Bauer Kitchen). This was a pleasant first visit and would definitely come again.
