Classic breakfast with bacon and hash browns.
Ray B.

A nice place for a good breakfast in Kitchener. Quite a large place with seating options for large groups, family gatherings, couples, and individual patrons. Seating is with booths, comfortable tables, and at the bar. I had a classic breakfast with two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and rye toast. Eggs were nicely cooked sunny side up without being steamed on top. Bacon was crispy, and toast nicely toasted and not soggy as is some places. Kudos for the hash browns being made with shredded potatoes and not being deep fried as a lot of places do these days. Anyway all in all a good breakfast. Will return when am back this way.

We were a little concerned when we arrived here for brunch and saw a lot of people waiting, but we ended up getting a table within 15 minutes. The brunch menu is very large so it took us a while to decide what to order. We started with a Classic Mimosa and Iced Coffee and both drinks were great. My partner got the Mega Breakfast with french toast and the portion was huge. The sausage and ham were great and the bacon was pretty good. The french toast was fluffy and delicious. I ordered the Fiesta Skillet and it ended up being a lot more filling than it looked in pictures. There was a lot of flavours with salsa, ground beef, beans, and corn. The pickled jalapenos were tasty but also quite spicy. We were really happy with our food and the service was excellent. Our waitress always seemed to be walking around the area so it was very easy to get her attention when we needed something. I also liked that it was only $0.75 to substitute for gluten free bread. We would definitely be happy to come here again for brunch!

Mega breakfast. $16.99

This would not normally be a 5 star, but compared breakfast places around this waterloo, this restaurant clears. This meal was so bountiful that my friend became the modern day Socrates after eating. Mega Breakfast is the best item on the menu for value, and has the most variety as well.

Poached eggs avocado toast with fruit in foreground. Triple decker club sandwich with fries in background.

Food exceeded our expectations given how large the menu is and the reasonableness of pricing. I asked for my eggs poached medium and they were done perfectly. Hash-browns were also really well made: crispy, fluffy, and not really oily. Fries were amazing and the decker club was one of the best clubs we ever had! Interior was very clean and lots of servers around/by the tables.

The food was so good prompt delivery even though the restaurant was so packed. I would love to come back anytime I'm visiting.

Service was great. Restaurant was clean, big, and spacious. Menu has lots of variety to choose from and the portion sizes were big. Food also tasted good and prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were huge. Great spot for breakfast and lunch.

Visited this spot as it was recommended by a friend but I was a bit disappointed. I came on a Wednesday around noon & was immediately seated (party of 2). Looked at the menu & the prices were pretty reasonable - I went with an eggs benny & my friend tried the tofu scramble. The portions are amazing however I wouldn't say the taste is anything impressive. The eggs benny came with shredded potatoes & side of fruits/oatmeal. I really enjoyed the oatmeal & shredded potatoes but the eggs benny could be improved. The bottom was really dry which didn't make eating it a lovely experience. We were served by Brenda & she was a lovely lady with amazing service!

Yes! I made a promise that I would be back soon and I kept it! I got the California Eggs Benedict AGAIN and once again, it was mind blowing how good it was! The portions were big, the price was reasonable (around $15), the Hollandaise sauce was immaculate and the fruits were SUPER SWEET! I tried out the Chicken and Waffles today and it was also pretty good! They gave out a decent amount of fried chicken which was seasoned super well (enough salt with a kick of pepper which I loved!). The waffles were very fluffy and super satisfying. I went on a Friday at lunch hour (12pm) and there were lots of people, however the restaurant was large enough (indoor + patio) that there was minimal wait time (~5-10mins). Honestly, you have to try it out for yourself otherwise you're missing out this treat!

Cobb salad (avocado on the side, as I'm allergic but my husband wanted it)

This place was way better than expected. After a few duds in this location, it's great to get a breakfast and lunch joint with food that's legit pretty decent. I love a brunch salad and the Cobb did not disappoint; it was a premium salad. Absolutely laden with chicken, blue cheese, olives, etc. My husband had the avocado that comes with it (I'm allergic but always get it on the side since it comprises part of the price). The house iced coffee was good, I had it black and it wasn't bitter or oversteeped. Service was extremely efficient and brisk, zero issues. I would definitely return.

Service was excellent. Food was good, but wish there were a few more healthy options for gluten-free folks.

Wonderful establishment. The food is amazing. We of course…read morehad the broasted chicken as this it what this restaurant is known for. There are various plate sizes available. There is an attached store where you can buy assorts of baked goods, take away broasted chicken, and textiles. I tried a pie but I couldn't finish it as I was full! For me the service wasn't the best, I have been twice and the first visit we were told the regular plate only has two pieces of chicken the second time we had 3 as per the menu. It felt when communicating with staff they didn't want deal with us. There were people who were seated after us but were served before us. The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet, there can be a wait as this place is popular.

Based on a recommendation to come here I saw fried chicken and didn't care about anything else. We…read morelucked out because our wait time was only 30 min just past the lunch around 1-2pm. Usual wait time I've heard is over an hour or more. When you walk in the restaurant is to your left where you wait on church pews. Put your name on the list and wait. But the right side of the entrance door is a big space full of locally produced items for sale along with some toys and things. They also have freezers full of their food for sale including desserts and gluten free items. They have fresh butter there as well. The selling point for me was their front aisle full of desserts from cookies to cupcakes to tarts to fresh bread! And their front of store where the cash is; is the gold mine of all the pies you can dream of. It's literally pie heaven and donuts. EVERYTHING is made in house it seems or local for sure. Nothing is mass produced here. So this front of store will keep you occupied until your table is ready. Once you are seated. The menu is small. Average. But it's their best seller the BROASTED chicken. (Broasted chicken is a type of fried chicken cooked in a pressure fryer, which combines pressure cooking with deep frying.) and they have a $25 combo which includes soup/salad and bread, broastech chicken plus side and veggies (corn, mash potatoes, fries, coleslaw) and then dessert included. Any pies/cakes on the menu!! You must try this place out. I will be back most definitely!! It's 30 min west of St Jacob's market. Worth the drive!!!!

I have visited this restaurant before, has always been good. My last visit was the kickoff to my…read morebirthday trip to Kingston, and it was exceptional. Really love this place, because Stacked is one of the few breakfast places I've found in Ontario that offer gluten-free pancakes, waffles AND French toast. Most bfast places just offer GF bread, which is nice, but these days, with all the products available, I'll die on the hill that it's just lazy to not offer all menu items GF. Stacked always delivers. I picked up my rental car in Kitchener, and decided to eat breakfast before driving to Kingston. Good choice. It was a Thursday, but there were still a good number of diners eating...usually a sign on a weekday that the place is really good. I started off with the celebration of Cinnabun pancakes. Do you know what a treat that is? I don't eat this stuff at home and these taste like the best cinnamon bun you ever tasted. With the pancake stack, you will also get meat, eggs and potatoes. It's a big meal full of carbs yes, but always good to treat yourself on occasion...life is short! My server was Pratyasha. She is the most friendly and engaging server I've had at this restaurant. It's always nice when the server asks you a few questions and has a little conversation outside of just the food. She shows a genuine interest in her customers and it was much appreciated. Best server I ever had at this chain. She also knew that the sausage was not GF, and I always appreciate when your server knows that about menu items without you having to ask. Makes you feel safer about the food and shows they really care about their customers. The food came out quick and was delicious. The scrambled eggs were not dry and the bacon was so good. Potatoes were perfect as well. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom and decor was cute. Easy free lot parking too. I'll definitely return. Hope Pratyasha is always my server!

Special mention : Pranjali made our experience even better. She is a great server and a good conversationalist. So we ordered a kiddie meal ( made some substitutes) - a birthday pancake and fries with apple juice. Avocado toasts, coffee, mango lemonade and cinnamon pancakes. For 2 adults, when the arrived on our table it looked like the food was for 5 people lol. Their pancakes are humongous and delicious. I could not finish even one. (A full pancake platter has 3 pancakes) the home fries are seasoned and delicious. They are addictive. Spicy home fries were topped with picked jalapeño, bell peppers and onions, and you can't stop munching on them. Coffee was a total miss. But overall a great place for brunch!
