Oh Seven Shores, how worthy you are of my praise. This has got to be one of THE spots I need to hit up when I am in KW. I love their concept, honouring the Earth-compostable containers, serving up local fare- supporting the surrounding area and being housed in a building with yoga. I cannot remember if this is a co-op or not. This place is definitely a hot spot, as it is usually always busy. And honestly, hits all the points for me... great space, both outdoor and indoor seating, food selection is varied and oh so scrumptious, their staff are professional and friendly. On a first name basis with their regulars. Whether it be a salad, a coffee and muffin, or a soup and burger, there is nothing you can't order that would not be mouth watering and well worth it. Generally I stick to my usual plant based burger. I have ordered it multiple times and it is always delicious. Sometimes, it's a long wait, yet whenever I take a bite I am reminded how worth the wait it is. I've dined in for breakfast, treated a friend to lunch. It is such a pleasure to enjoy this beautiful venue and experience it differently every time. If you live in the area, take a walk, hop on the bike, bus, scooter or get in the car and take a friend, you will be delighted! Thank you Seven Shores for being here and to all the lovely staff, you're awesome and appreciated. I very much look forward to my next visit.

Came here for a quick meal after performing in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. I did a Google search on where would be a good place to go to after brunch and discovered this place. It had high reviews overall, so I figured I'd come here. I'm glad I did. The overall atmosphere is very calm and cozy, at least from when I was here. I am not sure if it is like that when the students are in town since I was here when students would not usually be around. Service is also friendly. The food sometimes takes a while to come out but that's totally fine because the quality of the food is always excellent. For reference, I ordered the Uptown Omelette. Note that breakfast is served until 3pm. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit here and I'd happily come here again when in the KW area.

Came here for the first time for a quick coffee fix and pleasantly found that their espresso is really good!! On a warmer day, my go to is a double espresso on ice, and you can tell this was packed unlike other cafes where a double feels more like a single. Have not tried their food, but one day, it looked and smelled amazing - I plan to be back!

Love the feel of this cafe. It's a good place to study and get a drink and treat! The staff are great and I like how the kitchen is fully visible to all customers as well. While my boyfriend loved the breakfast burrito, I tried their lunch snacks (ie., fresh spring rolls & hummus) and wasn't a fan. Their lattes, teas, and pastries have all been great though!

Super cute cafe with fairly priced drinks and food items. Got a macchiato and a soy vanilla latte. Both drinks were good with a huge plus being that all milks are the same price (unlike starbucks who charges you more...) which was inclusive to the non-milk drinkers. Lots of good seating and a cute interior. Lost a star because the espresso was slightly acidic and the latte wasn't as good as I hoped.

Food was very average, not much salt or flavour. I found the service very slow, the coffee is self serve and for the tables you have to clean up after yourselves. The food took 30-40 mins to arrive and it was just sitting in the back of the kitchen when we went over to the cashier to ask if they forgot our dishes.

Really nice atmosphere for studying or catching up with a friend. Large variety of food and snacks as well. Their breakfast and lunch items seem really reasonable, but I didn't try any. Had the apple cider, which was nice on this cold day. They put a lot of thought into making the place welcoming and nice. Local art for sale is displayed on the walls, the washrooms are gender neutral, and there's a corner with kids' toys. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place based on atmosphere alone, though I haven't tried any of their food so cannot speak on that.

Visiting from California and looking for a healthy breakfast and I found Seven Shores. Delicious oatmeal with fruit and a beautiful omelette for my travel buddy. The mocha chino with almond milk in a adorable teacup was so so good. What a great experience! Outdoor seating too! What more could I ask for?

Seven Shores is amazing! We showed up at 11am on a Friday with 12 hockey players and their parents. The cafe was buzzing (not a free table in sight). The staff quickly opened up the patio for us and promptly filled our bellies and topped up our low caffeine levels & satisfied our smoothie cravings! The boys are 9years old and typical for their age (loud and excitable). We were treated like family! I have recommended Seven Shores to anyone that will listen and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for remembering what good quality food, drink & service is all about. - Erin Hillsburgh Atom AE Devils

This is such a cute spot! The menu has many different options that appeal to all dietary restrictions, as there are clear notes about gluten-free and vegan options as well as notes about containing dairy products. The food was amazing and the outdoor patio was a very nice place to sit to enjoy both my meal and the weather. I will be coming back for sure!

Casual, friendly, tasty bakery treats. Wish their tea was hotter, but I forgive that, cause the place is so friendly

As we walked in, I noticed the open concept and minimal decor and fell in love with it! We were greeted by both the employees working right away and I must say, the customer service was perhaps the best part of the entire experience. We were never rushed to order as they gave us plenty of time to debate the menu and when it came time to order, the gentleman was very thorough and helpful with the sizes of drinks, explaining the milk alternatives which are free of charge, order was clarified to ensure it was correct - all in all, you could feel he took his time to get things right for us. When our iced matcha beverages were handed off, he realized he didn't let us know they come Una's a default and there, he offered simple syrup or vanilla syrup of our choosing since we do prefer our matcha sweetened. After tasting, we told him two pumps wasn't sweet enough and he kindly added more syrup for us. I personally ordered the seasonal white chocolate matcha as a hot beverage which was tasty but a little too sweet - I would request for half sweet next time. I also got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie as I couldn't resist (it looked so good in the pastry display!) It turned out to be absolutely delicious - the edges being the best part. My mom said it paired well with her Americano which was made with their Heritage blend. Speaking of which, before my mom ordered her coffee, she was offered to try their brew before buying which was really helpful as it ended up being too acidic for her. The Heritage blend was much more her preference with the nutty notes. All in all, a nice place to study and/or grab a coffee and snack to go! I'd highly recommend anyone to visit if in the area.
