Did a last minute day trip at my parent's cottage in Elora and decided to visit the lost and found cafe after a good friend mentioned it and gave a big thumbs up. I visited the cafe before but only ordered cappuccino and because it was late in the day I never had a chance to try their brunch menu. They had sandwiches and pastries. The sandwich at first looked pretty ordinary nothing special at first look but the first bite blew me away. It was fresh, the bread was amazing and simply yummy. We tried the house brekky, the smoked salmon and the classic brekky. 10/10 cappuccino 9/10. House peach ice tea 6/10. It was lacking in flavour. The service was excellent. They were fast and pleasant in serving the food. Did not wait at all despite it being busy. We sat outside and the patio was nice and the actual cafe was cute and cozy.

I think this was the tempeh club. Or the veggie sandwich... it was Soooooooooo Gud!

Popular place and I can see why! The food is damn tasty! I remember walking in and we had to wait in line. Not too long. Kinda late in the day to show up at a cafe and when we reached the front, they were out of a lot of stuff... the bread in my sandwich had to be swapped for what they did have available. It didn't matter it was gooood. The drink I ordered was rather bland I went to return it and it was promptly taken care of, which was great. The sandwich I had was phenomenal. Superb. The bread was toasted, so it had some crunch, there were adequate veggies, the flavours in sauce and non meat, meaty goodness (tempeh) blended wonderfully. Mmmm. My mouth is salivating as I recall. A table was hard to come by, thankfully someone was leaving as our food was ready. We had to dust crumbs off the table, yet scored a comfortable seat, complete with a variety of pillows. What a collection of funky wall hangings: portraits, art and other knickknacky type attire. Very ecclectic and enjoyable to look at. It's like walking into a living room. Washrooms are on the upper level. I remember sitting down and watching more and more people come in. Worth visiting!

Great lunch spot for a quick bite*. Fresh ingredients. Highly recommended. Did a day trip to Elora for the tubing, and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. Google maps gave slightly different directions so we, indeed, get lost then found this cute cafe. Was recommended by a local and happy to have tried it. Ordered the roast beef sandwich, deli sandwich and a peach iced tea. Everything tasted fresh and it was the perfect amount of food before starting our tubing adventure. Note: there is limited seating (indoors and out), one bathroom for all genders and the wait for our order to be made was around *10-15 minutes. Overall, would recommend for anyone wanting fresh delicious food who lives near or passing by Elora. Will return to try different drinks and sandwiches. Yum!

The Lost and Found cafe is a cute cafe in Elora. Elora surprisingly has around 5 places to get an espresso and this is my first adventure for espresso in Elora. My favorite part of this cafe is the atmosphere, even though it was COVID times, the patio outside is quite enjoyable to be in. The espresso was alright and the food was ok (chocolate ball and twinky bar) but I probably will skip the food next time. Recommended for meeting with a friend, reading a book or some quiet time with your coffee.

Simply pretty cafe at a wonderful spot across the Elora mill. Loved the coffee flavor and the ambience is so good. Though we chose to sit outside on a lovely fall sunny day since they have decent seating outside. It's a perfect spot, pretty much the first cafe of you enter from the Elora mill side.

Researched for some breakfast options in Elora and we decided to come here. When we walked in, the decor of this place is rustic with the old bookshelves. This reminds me of those old school cafes. What's more, this place is busy! Even for 9 am on a Sunday morning. Anyhow, we browsed the menu and decided to grab a croissant with apple and brie + a Mediterranean breaky wrap for food and then 2 cups of much needed coffee. After, we grabbed a table outside of the store to chill while we waited for the food. After a few moments (about 15 mins), our drinks came out. I was waiting for my food though as we were a bit hungry. A short moment after our food came out piping hot. First bite ain't bad as I can tasted all the ingredients: eggs, roasted veggies, olive oil tapenade and goat cheese. Surprisingly, it's not over salty and food was piping warm. Coffee tasted great too. Overall experience was good. I got respect for the employee as she had to help many customers all by herself.

I require coffee on the daily and my little day trip to Elora brought me to the Lost & Found cafe. The atmosphere is so unique and memorable, I was captivated by the vibe and the set up the moment I walked in. My boyfriend and I each got a medium coffee ($2) and a chocolate chip cookie to share, we sat by the window and took in the calmness of the cafe while enjoying our coffees. The cookie was something special, it was soft and had a nice strong vanilla aroma. There is so much to see in Elora and this cafe is one of those special places that you've gotta check out when you're here!

It was raining heavily when we arrived in Elora, so we decided to wait in a cafe until the rain stops. The lost & found café was a random choice but it was also a correct choice. I was so in love with decoration of interior, the paintings on wall, the old bookshelves, and the old guitar. Coffee of The Lost & Found was great, they had rich coffee flavour unlike Starbucks(was just like milk and water). The coffee&bbqchicken wrap we ordered was very special, love the taste.

Just absolutely fantastic - an incredible start to our trip to Elora. We recommend the yogurt parfait and iced green tea. Also appreciated their GF bread options and speedy and incredibly friendly service!

I drove from Mississauga to get a cup of coffee at this cafe. The drive was worth it; the coffee was great; the service was not.

The café is small with a few seats inside and more seating outdoors where it is primarily take out only. In terms of the menu, they offer a variety of caffeinated beverages, teas, cold drinks, pastries (cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, scones), as well as breakfast (croissants/bagels) and lunch (hot dogs, sandwiches) items. My friend and I stumbled upon Community Café as we were walking along the main street of Elora. We decided to pop in for a beverage as we were killing time as we had a reservation for lunch elsewhere. Service is friendly and a bit slow, but there is only one staff there (I assumed the owner) who was making the beverages. The cute thing about this café is that you notice a wall full of dog pictures, all taken by the owner. I opted for the cold brew while my friend ordered the London Fog. Our drinks were made a reasonable time. The cold brew I had definitely was strong! Beware if you do have this beverage since the caffeine hits you after a few sips. Overall, cute small coffee shop with great coffee in Elora!

There are a lot of wonderful shops, and it's very walkable. We stopped in this story, which is nominally an olive oil and herbs shop, but because it was summertime and it is hot, I suspect they decided to diversify, and they also have some ice cream. It was good, but not jump-out-of-your-skin wonderful. The counter was a little disorganized for checking out, but it seems like it would be a better place to visit for olive oil purposes.

The Village Olive Grove is a gourmet extra virgin olive oil and vinegar shop that imports from all over the world. There we learned how to tell if extra virgin olive oil is authentic and how it's made. We also learned how to taste vinegar without the acidic flavour getting in the way. Just when you think you're a foodie, you learn something new! Love it! Last, but not least, we sampled Mapleton's Organic Ice Cream. It was flavoured with dandelion. It had a mild mocha flavour. Pretty good! We all looked worried when he said it was made with dandelion, but were all impressed. The owner is very knowledgeable and will allow you to sample any oil or vinegar in the store. The prices are higher than grocery stores, but you're here for the quality and you will definitely get it!
