The most filling high tea ever !
    Jasmine L.

Our group came here for their afternoon tea service. I've been to quite a lot of high teas and I believe Wild Tart has the largest portions (especially for the very reasonable price). Everything was served in towers of LARGE dinner plates (not the dainty small plates), and thus the food on them were not teeny bite-size. Be prepared for some super-sized finger sandwiches and very sweet desserts. The scones were our table's favourite. It was warm, fluffy, and the jams & cream paired so well. Each person gets a pot of tea. The earl grey is a classic and the verbena blue is fun especially when you watch the colour change with a squeeze of a lemon! They also sell 50g of their own teas for $15. Unfortunately, I do have to mention that they refused to honour their Yelp Check-in offer of a free brownie.

The Wild Tart is one of my favourite restaurants in Elora. The patio is so nice and they allow dogs on the patio. And the food is really tasty. I highly recommend doing the tea service. Also, all the staff are really lovely. I will definitely be back the next time I go to the Elora.

Love the fact that they did a pop-up tent for Summer/Covid. Made for a nice atmosphere to sit out and eat. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quite quickly. They had some unique options on their menu and overall despite the proportions in my opinion being a little small for the price, the taste was pretty good.

(Late post) Spectacular cocktail and high tea food items! We visited in the end of August and sat on the patio - food was amazing... Possibily the most polished high tea I've had. Cocktail that came with the signature set was surprisingly delicious. Unfortunately we had to rush our meal to beat the swarm of 4-5 bees who kept coming back and sat on our desserts. Our server was apologetic and brought us napkins to cover our food (also offered the same to the other tables on the patio). It quickly became a weird meal where I could only see my girlfriend through the gap of the two tea sets because of the napkins draped over them.

tea, service and desserts were good. Breakfast was a bit disappointing....$22 for 1 piece of avocado toast with a poached egg...no side salad or anything. I was still hungry after and one shouldn't be when you spend $22! We should have just ordered the high tea!

Love Love Love the ambiance of this place! Clean & Friendly Staff with amazing brunch/light fayre and dessert menu! A must-go if you're visiting Elora for a, day trip or a weekend get-away! Make sure you make a reservation in advance before you plan your visit here! Most shops are opened until 5pm or 6pm here, but restaurants and cafes are usually opened a little later, but if you're from out of town, then I'd suggest dining here "after" you've done your scenic walks earlier throughout and enjoy a nice meal here as a reward! Their lemon meringue was amazing and their patio was very private, which we enjoyed a lot without a huge crowd!

    Classic (sweet) tea set

My doctor told me about this place after I told her I'm going to Elora. So this has been on my 'favorite' as a reminder. Finally, the day come to try this place. It was lovely food, service, and place! We ordered ham with quail terrine and spice apple chutney, and classic (sweet) tea set. After waiting for (not sure how long), the attendant informed us that it will take bit longer because the chef is making new batch. We were not 'hangry', so we dont mind the waiting. Turn out they came back and gave us complementary gazpacho (husband love it and eat my portion too). How thoughtful! Then the food came. The ham sandwich is sooooo good. The melted cheese on top of the bread, the terrine sauce and ham, and the spice apple chutney on the side , all is well balanced. I put the chutney like a jam (put it little bit on the sandwich, then i savour it slowly and passionly). It also come with green leafies salad (which I didn't expect, but it's nice to eat well-balanced food anyway). The tea set came with 2 bread (and 3 different 'sauce' on side), 4 mini sandwich (cucumber, smoke salmon, egg, ham), 4 dessert. All is very delish!!! Soft, tender, light, fluffy....nothing too strong/overpowering/heavy. Dessert is a very nice ending! I wish i can order more dessert to take home, but worry that it will get ruined after 2hours drive home. The garden patio is lovely and I could imagine it is pretty at night. French music is also playing in background. Overall is a beautiful experience. Highly recommended! Make sure to make reservation to avoid the wait.

Came to Elora and couldn't leave without trying some delicious high tea. We were not disappointed despite them running out of savoury bites by 4pm. They substituted it nicely with other savoury eats. We shared one signature tower for two people because we were restaurant hopping. Otherwise, we would have each gotten our own. But even then, we were a quite satisfied. We got the Niagara tea and it paired perfectly with our food. The Prosecco was strong and made us very bubbly. The service was great and eating in the patio is always lovely. The inside decor is just as nice. Would highly recommend to come here and I can't wait to come back!!!!!!

What a perfect lunch. From the greeting from James, our host, to the ambiance and finally the food (lunch; salmon gravlax open faced sandwich and roast beef open faced sandwich), it was a perfect lunch. Lots of tea and dessert options. Highly recommend

    Classic Afternoon Tea

This place is the real deal. We heard about it through word of mouth, and ordered the Classic Afternoon Tea x2 (see picture). Ambience: 5/5 Beautiful interior - we loved the blue of the seats, and the artful furniture. The patio seating was also very excellent - the surrounding view reminded us of a villa in Italy (old stone walls, lots of trees, etc.) Food: 5/5 Wow. The pastries and cakes were simply on point - they were flavourful and rich, yet delicately done (everything felt complimentary, with no single taste overpowering) and simply beautifully constructed. My personal favourites were the Almond Financier, as well as the cheese scone with garlic butter. This place easily had one of the best pastries/cakes I've ever had at any high tea experience. Service: 5/5 Great service, polite and courteous. One of the owners was also serving food, and took some time to chat with us and tell us a bit about the history of the place. Overall, this is 100% a must-go if you enjoy pastries, cakes, and high tea. We will most definitely be returning to try out more of their menu.

Lemon Meringue pie, Raspberry mousse cake, Fruit Tartlette, croissant.

Finally got a chance to stop by the Wild Tart after seeing their amazing reviews. We bought the Lemon Meringue pie, Raspberry mousse cake, and passionfruit tartelette. The owner was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to give us a complimentary croissant. :) Each piece was spectacular in taste and I couldn't help but finish everything. Thank you for the great service and delightful treats. I will definitely be back again!

Community Café is a small locally owned coffee shop hidden down a small alleyway in downtown Elora…read more It's a bit hidden but there is signage indicating where it is. The café is small with a few seats inside and more seating outdoors where it is primarily take out only. In terms of the menu, they offer a variety of caffeinated beverages, teas, cold drinks, pastries (cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, scones), as well as breakfast (croissants/bagels) and lunch (hot dogs, sandwiches) items. My friend and I stumbled upon Community Café as we were walking along the main street of Elora. We decided to pop in for a beverage as we were killing time as we had a reservation for lunch elsewhere. Service is friendly and a bit slow, but there is only one staff there (I assumed the owner) who was making the beverages. The cute thing about this café is that you notice a wall full of dog pictures, all taken by the owner. I opted for the cold brew while my friend ordered the London Fog. Our drinks were made a reasonable time. The cold brew I had definitely was strong! Beware if you do have this beverage since the caffeine hits you after a few sips. Overall, cute small coffee shop with great coffee in Elora!
