July 15/21: This was a just slightly above average restaurant in Elora. I had the Lobster/Crab Roll with fries. Very small meal for $18.00. The Lobster/Crab consisted of mostly minced crab with WAY too much celery. The flavour was very much lacking & it was mostly drowned out by the celery! The fries were very tasty but there were very few of them. Our server Jayme was uninspired at her position. This is my 2nd disappointment in Elora. The two that I've been to really have to up their game!

You have to be patient with the wait time. Nearly 55 mins of waiting after giving the order, I lost my appetite! So to begin with on a weekend it was definitely busy but got a seat inside right away. Ordered the crispy brussel as well as the main course. The crispy brussel arrived in barely 15 mins and were super awesome. Personally loved the dip. However post this the wait just would not end and we had to wait another 40-45 mins , by the time food arrived barely even had an appetite. If you plan to spend the entire day exploring Elora and not just sitting at one place then do check in advance how long you have to wait for the food.

Good food, good atmosphere, well done Devil, well done. Located on Metcalfe Street in Elora, Handsome Devil posts the menu prominently outside on the walkway which made it easy to determine if we were interested in its offerings. We went at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon in April, it was moderately busy, by the time we left, there was a line up out the door, clearly a local favourite. The service was quick and friendly, the staff clearly works as a team making sure guest needs are met. We ordered the Reuben and the Smoked Brisket Sandwich, both came with fresh-cut fries and fry sauce (delicious). The sandwiches were tasty, hot, and had the most delicious home made pickles. Those kitchen people are a creative bunch. Observations included a lot of sandwiches being enjoyed, a few charcuterie boards, and the soup of the day. The total lunch cost us $48.59 (we ordered non-alcoholic beverages). Over all experience? Yeah, we'd go again

Community Café is a small locally owned coffee shop hidden down a small alleyway in downtown Elora…read more It's a bit hidden but there is signage indicating where it is. The café is small with a few seats inside and more seating outdoors where it is primarily take out only. In terms of the menu, they offer a variety of caffeinated beverages, teas, cold drinks, pastries (cakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, scones), as well as breakfast (croissants/bagels) and lunch (hot dogs, sandwiches) items. My friend and I stumbled upon Community Café as we were walking along the main street of Elora. We decided to pop in for a beverage as we were killing time as we had a reservation for lunch elsewhere. Service is friendly and a bit slow, but there is only one staff there (I assumed the owner) who was making the beverages. The cute thing about this café is that you notice a wall full of dog pictures, all taken by the owner. I opted for the cold brew while my friend ordered the London Fog. Our drinks were made a reasonable time. The cold brew I had definitely was strong! Beware if you do have this beverage since the caffeine hits you after a few sips. Overall, cute small coffee shop with great coffee in Elora!
