    Risotto balls

I would give this place 3.5 stars. It was busy when we came in but there were still a few free tables so we got seated right away with no reservations (Saturday dinner). We ordered the risotto balls for appetizer and they also brought a bread basked with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar plate that had been pre-poured. I wish they had olive oil and balsamic vinegar bottles for every table. My husband enjoyed the risotto balls as they were quite dense. I had the seafood pasta and the flavor was good once I squeezed my quarter lemon into it. The squid in it was a bit chewy which I had seen as a comment in another review so I didn't finish it. If I come back, I will order something else. The service was friendly, professional and prompt. No complaints there. The Reese cheesecake was delicious.

The ambiance was cozy and calm. The food looked great but taste was just okay - Nothing I'll be returning for. The owner.. weird. Lacked boundaries with personal space. Made uninvited conversation and comments about physical characteristics of people at our table. He is definitely "off".

FOLLOW US @roastdreviews on INSTAGRAM FOR MORE! RESTAURANT: Casa Americo WHAT I ORDERED: spinach risotto Atmosphere: the dim lighting and small, open-concept space is a little crowded at times, but is still comfortable. Taste: when I feel like Italian, this restaurant is my go to. Their risotto (no matter what kind) is rich, creamy, and delicious. It is perfectly cooked, and if you do it right, can last for 2 meals. Service: This restaurant is family-run, and they treat you like a part of their family. I go there fairly often, and they've gone to the trouble of learning my name and my order (always the spinach risotto) Bang for buck: I believe it costs about $18 for the risotto, and considering how filling and tasty it is, the $18 is completely worth it. Extra perks: vegetarian, gluten-free options available. OVERALL ROAST RATING: 4.4/5 #risotto #spinachrisotto #miltoneats #italian #miltonitalian #vegetarianoptions #glutenfreeoptions #italiancuisine #food #familyrun #milton #finedining #mainstreetmilton #patio #mainstreet

The ambiance, the food quality and the service are good, but the price they charge for the food quantity they serve is too high.

I came here yesterday with some friends and we all had such a great time! As soon as you enter the restaurant, it's classy yet has a homey feeling. All of the staff were very attentive and charming (especially the owner... I'll be back just for his lovely compliments). I ordered a latte, both of my friends ordered cappuccino's, complete with your choice of topping of cinnamon, chocolate, both or as is. As soon as my friend took her sip she claimed this was the best cappuccino she had ever had. Which was unexpected yet delightful. The latte was good, it wasn't the best but it was tasty. Our meal began with complimentary bread and oil, a tradition that has sadly ceased to exist in modern all-alike chain food restaurants. Sad. We then ordered three appetizers to split: 1. Spiedini Di Agnello: These lamb skewers are placed upon a pillow of fresh, mesculin greens with fresh parmesan cheese. The skewers were flavorful but sadly they were cold so I did not enjoy them as much as I would have if they were warm. The mesculin greens were great, there was a light oil and balsamic dressing that went perfectly with the meal. 2. Risotto Balls: These were AWESOME! They are deep fried risotto and cheese balls topped with a tomato sauce. Now, I don't like red pasta sauces but this sauce was amazing, it was such a lovely and fresh compliment to the fried risotto. 3. Antipasto plate: this was a treat, it came with kalamata olives (pitted, phew), fresh parmesan cheese, tomato slices and bocconcini cheese (for anyone who does not know what bocconcini cheese is: it is a very fresh mozzarella cheese and incredibly milky at times) Tip: eat the tomato with the bocconcini, yum! As well as pesto soaked zucchini and eggplant. This was lovely, light and fresh. Everything really complimented each other on the plate. For dessert the three of us shared a piece of tiramisu.. oh my lord. This was heaven on a plate. We are really glad they ran out of carrot cake (our first choice) because we would have missed our chance with this creamy, moist, delicate dessert. All in all. we had a great time at Casa Americo. I would love to come back and explore their menu a bit more, maybe a dinner? This was a wonderful experience and I loved every bite and minute.

Parmesan crusted halibut with baby spinach risotto and mixed veg. Delicious!

WHERE DO WE EVEN START?! THE NAME?! THE DECOR?! THE FACT THAT ITS WOOD OVEN ZA?! yuhh you heard it…read moreright, your favourite pizza friend is making a wiiilldd appearance and for the best of reasons. Goodfellas, y'all were gooood to us. K, if you need pics that make it look like you're in Italy...this would be a good place to start. The decor is so cute, so cozy, so....transporting (k maybe not the right word but y'all know what I'm tryna get @). Our waitress, Beverley, was so welcoming and helpful in terms of both the drink and dining menu. We ended up getting the Goodfellas amber & Goodfellas dark - both of which the boy said were 10 outta 10s. Hiiighly recommends. The dark actually tastes like chocolately...the aftertaste anyway. The amber is hoppy fr, nice and light. Iiiii used it as a palatte cleanser but apparently that was what the H2O was for l o l OK THE MAIN ATTRACTION, SOOOO we ordered the calzone (napoletana style) & the diavola (also napoletana style). Beverley let us know the ins and out (trusss mi dadddi, if you're in Milton & visit, you better ask for her). But as I was saying, napoletana for the pizzas means it's done in the wood oven (for the calzones however all were gas oven)...BUT HONESTLY, THEY BOTH SLAPPPPEDDDD. 11/10. Bestie said to dip the contents of the calzone and stuff thr crust (WHICH BY THE WAY, WAS ALREADY STUFFED WITH HAM AND CHEESE?!? I KNOW. I KNOOOOOW). OMG DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR CONDIMENTS. HOUSE MADE CHILLI OIL?! AND YO, THEIR GARLIC SAUCE IS TOP TIER. Wheneverr I eat pizza, pizza pizza's creamy garlic sauce is necessary (if you know, you know) BUT YO...THIS DIP. TOP TWO. MIGHT NOT BE TWO. GO THERE AND LET ME KNOW. FRFR. OK LET ME STOP BEFORE I WRITE AN ESSAY BUT FR IF WE COULD GIVE BEVERLEY AND THE GOODFELLAS A HIGHER RATING WE WOULD. WE'LL BE BACK.

Nice food good service, one of the best you can get in milton I suppose…read more I will constantly coming back for sure. Thank

Today our family went to east sides to enjoy a mediocre meal. When we sat down in the restaurant…read morethe table was sticky like glue. What we got was almost that mediocre. 4 of us received 1 small loaf of bread and two Cesar salad with next to no dressing. I ordered the mangia sampler which this will be my 4th time having it but to my surprise it was half the meal I use to receive. The lasagna had 1 tiny hunk of meat in it, the chicken Parm was not even half a chicken breast and the Alfredo pasta was dry and undercooked. You as a company should be ashamed of taking people's money and providing them with less and less these days. We will not go back to your shotty establishment and have your over priced food. Service was also non existent

We ordered here for take out through their online ordering system. I love the ordering system…read morebecause it's easy to use. They also have a great selection of combo meals for families. We ordered the pasta meal for 2 which came with a choice of 2 pastas, bread, soup or salad and 2 soft drinks. Food was delicious and large portions, enough for leftovers for lunch the next day. The only downside is if you ate in the restaurant then you could take advantage of the all you can eat soup, salad and bread. They only gave 1 of each through take out. But it's great value since it was only $32
