I went here with my brother, not expecting much. I saw their desserts on display and decided I wanted to try.
Upon walking down, we saw a beautiful cafe that looked like somewhere I'd host a tea party. It felt very princess perfect. Everything seemed relatively clean.
I got the raspberry tea, coffee mousse, and strawberry mousse. The raspberry tea was delicious, tasted fresher than something bottled or canned. My guess is they used tea bags? The strawberry mousse was cute but it tasted like whipped strawberry yogurt. That was the strongest flavor. My favorite was the coffee mousse, it had a creamy tiramisu taste with honey at the bottom. It wasn't too sweet or too bitter. The crunch from the mousses was just the cherry on top as it gave it a satisfying extra texture.
Thanks to Rosa, we got a free sample of their pesto pizza. It was unique, I never had flaky pizza before. The bite I had was soft and flavorful, with each element combining to taste like the feelings of warm and fuzzy. This is high praise from me since I don't like pesto. Had I not gotten lunch right before, I might have requested a slice. Both my brother and I agreed the pizza was a solid 8.5, it felt like possibly it was missing something. Rosa, was a 10/10, as she was kind and very open to talk.
Overall, a good place. I think our total was $30-$35. For the city, this isn't a bad price and it felt like it was worth the money as a good once in the while treat. read more
