The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was SO big and tasty, we had to go back for day 2. Filling sandwich, latte was very fresh and plenty of options to pick from. Quick service and although the location is tiny, great setup inside. Go try the cheese balls!
Love love love this hidden gem! Everything is made from scratch here, freshly made every morning in this cafe itself! I loooooove those Brazilian cheesy breads, coffee is legit, and the pesto chicken sandwich on cheesy bread is refreshingly good (if you like pesto). Very very cute ambiance with sufficient seating inside, and friendly welcoming service. I wish there were more salads on the menu (but that's just a personal preference and you can always request a side salad). Highly recommend and would definitely be back next time I am in town.
The Brazilian cheese puff breads were the best ones I've had so far. The puffs are stuffed with cheese and the bread doesn't get hard right away if you don't eat them right after like other ones I've had. People were ok. Downside is that the bathroom was kind of gross.

They had 3 kinds - the Original Cheese, the Everything Seasoning, and the Jalapeno - We tried all 3, and felt that the Original Cheese was the best - they could have been served warm, but it still had the nice cheesy/salty flavor to it with the chewiness from the tapioca flour; the Everything Seasoning and the Jalapeno were more on the stale side and just were not tasty. Staff were friendly, and there's some seating inside. The one restroom needs a key, in which you'll have to ask the cashier. +Original Cheese pão de queijo +friendly service
Cute spot for breakfast bites, coffee, and pastries. Tired an iced matcha, the breakfast sandwich (croissant, sunny side up egg, and cheese), the veggie omelette sandwich, and the banana bread. All were tasty and made fresh so that nothing got soggy. Drinks can be customized with sweetness by the bar cart containing sugar packets and simple syrup. The breakfast sandwich would be a tad easier to eat if the yolk was a tad firmer but was otherwise good. The veggie omelette sandwich was also balanced. Service was good and they cut the sandwiches in half for ease of sharing the items. Would come by if in Seaport!

Unassuming hole in the wall in south street seaport on a quaint street with cobblestones and historic buildings. The Brazilian cheese bread was so tasty and chewy. Get a dozen of them and you won't be sorry! The avocado toast and quiche were great. Dulce de leche latte is also a must get here.
The food is absolutely wonderful here! The staff is welcoming and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. The place is spotless and inviting. My friend and I enjoyed a slice of brigadeiro cake that was perfectly fluffy, moist, and incredibly fresh (warm). We also each tried a chicken tapioca, which was light yet packed with flavor. When we reached the cashier, we couldn't resist the pictures of the croffles (croissant waffles) -- they looked so tempting that we just had to get them. We thought we might take some to go, but they were so delicious that they disappeared in no time! LOL
Very cute spot at 2pm on a Sunday. A cozy coffee shop/bakery that doesn't rely on perfectly straight lines. The counter is beautifully crafted old wood that has probably been there forever. The display cases showing the pastries are well lit. Felt ma and pa to me. I got the Brazilian cheese bread - 5 pieces for $6.50. They gracefully warmed them up in a toaster oven before handing them off to us. They were little pillows of flavor - cheese forward of course. They are chewy and light. Not much seating. I see this place busy in the summer when tourists are abound. The chocolate cake was staring at me while we were seated eating so I might have to get that next time I'm in the area.
When I think tapioca, I would think of boba tea, but apparently they have something call tapioca chicken. This was a very interesting take using tapioca as a wrap for the chicken. It made the texture a little more chewier giving you savory taste of the chicken. It's a bit pricy around $15 dollars, but if you're in the mood to try something unique then I would recommend their chicken tapioca!
I came around 4pm on a Saturday and unfortunately they were out of the Pão de queijo. I tried their brigadeiro latte ($6) which was delicious. It's on the sweeter side and has that fudgy chocolate taste. It's also pretty - it has the brigadeiro sprinkles on top. Service is so nice and friendly! There are a few tables inside to sit down at, mostly 2 person tables. Looks like there's WiFi as well. Definitely want to come back to try more of their Brazilian items.
A small and cute cafe near Seaport. I usually walk my pup around the neighborhood and like to stop by this cafe from time to time (my pup also drags me to that cafe so she can pick up some crumbs on the ground). I always pick up a bag of Pao de Queijo. And this time, brought some to work to share with my coworkers which they really enjoyed. My fave is the original but they do have other options like everything bagel seasoning and bacon with cheese. They also have other Brazilian pastries and sandwiches which I have yet to try. Will be back to try their coffee and other pastries. But if you enjoy Brazilian cheese bread, definitely a must try.

Pão de Queijo - Maple Bacon: Wasn't a fan of this new flavor. The little bacon bits reminded me of Bac Os and the maple flavor wasn't working for me in pão form. Pão de Queijo - Onion & Chives: Meanwhile, I was a big fan of this innovation. Onion and chives taste great on potato chips, so why not pãos? It seemed there was also cheese in this one, so a bonus. A little more flavor than the original. Tapioca Chicken Crepe: A very hearty lunch choice! Lots of nicely spiced marinated shredded chicken. Covered in a dusting of queso fresco. And with a chewy and hearty tapioca crepe shell. Very unique compared to anything in the FiDi. Brigadeiro Cake: Chocolate overload! Rich moist devil's food like chocolate cake. Kind of a ganache meets syrup chocolate "frosting" in the layers. And lots of fun sprinkles. Almost couldn't finish this after my meal... almost.
Casual/cozy Brazilian coffee shop in Seaport. I stopped in for a late breakfast on a Saturday afternoon. It was a very chilly winter day so there weren't too many patrons. I ordered a cappuccino and pesto chicken sandwich. The cappuccino was good, but I was really blown away by the sandwich. I love how they used pão de queijo as a bun! I just got back from Rio and can honestly say that the pão de queijo here was just as good if not better than the ones I ate in Brazil! Friendly service and the coffee/food came out quickly! read more

Best coffee shop we visited on our NYC trip! And best of all, we found it by accident when we saw a sign on the sidewalk while walking back to our hotel! Also love the cute duck theme! Drinks are reasonably priced at $3 to $5 unlike a lot of other places in NYC! And they also have the best pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread)!! Especially if you get them fresh out of the oven! They usually cost 12 for $12 but on weekdays from 3 to 4 PM they have a happy hour deal where you can get 12 for only $8! Highly recommend you try some!! read more
Legitimately the best pão de queijo I've had in my life. If you come between 3-4 PM on weekdays, you can get 1 dozen for $8, rather than the $1/each price that they are usually. Beverages are fantastic and feel affordable, unlike so many spots in NYC. I'm so glad that we found it because after my husband and I went in to our hotel with my au lait and my husband's drip coffee, the staff at the front desk said it was the best coffee shop in the area! read more
After 7.5 miles of sight seeing we headed back to our hotel to rest our feet and I was in need of a caffeine boost. This inviting little shop is close to our hotel. The gentleman behind the counter is so very polite, kind and helpful. As it's after lunch, the variety of available pastries was limited, but there were still plenty in the display case if I had wanted one. And that chocolate cake! O.M.G. That chocolate cake looks absolutely mouth wateringly, decadent. The coffee was a full pour, right to the top. They add the milk and set it on a counter where you can add all the sugar or whatever your taste buds desire and pop on a to-go lid. There are a couple tables inside, but I took mine back to the hotel where I took off my shoes and enjoyed this full bodied coffee, with a nice smooth finish. A really good cup of coffee. I definitely recommend this place. read more

This was a 10 minute walk from the hotel we stayed in and it was worth the walk over! The inside was cute and had a few tables to sit at. There were several types of pastries in the glass case and I ordered Five Original Pao De Quiejos for $6.50. There was no line and the server was friendly and helped me right away. The Pao De Quiejos were great and definitely different from other breads I've had before. Next time I'll try the jalapeno ones! read more

A small space, so a few seating tables, that you bus yourself. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful and we ordered a bag of five pao de queijos--two original, two chive, and one italian seasoning. My favorite was the original, I wouldn't bother with the other flavors again. They heated them up for us, which was nice. The almond milk latte I ordered was slightly sweet, and brigadeiro latte with oat milk was basically a mocha. We enjoyed both. I wish they had plates/cups for those to stay, but I suppose it's to cut down on the cleaning work. read more
To start off, when walking up to the counter of this place a wasp flew in front of the employee working, instead of just ignoring it they tried to clap it in between both of their hands and it flew right into my face. Instead of being apologetic, the employee laughed, like it was funny a wasp flew right at me after they aggravated it. Great start! On to the actual drink I got. When ordering a large hot chai latte I have some expectations on what I would be getting, this place did not deliver on any of them. The large drink I ordered was in what looked like an large expresso cup. So small, I had to even ask to make sure that it was a large. Spending $5.50 this just left like the biggest rip off. I get this is New York City but come on. I passed quite a few Starbucks walking here, I want to support small business when I can but for the same price at Starbucks I could get just as good as a drink for three times the amount. The Chai itself was okay, nothing to make me go back. read more
Original cheese bread - it seems like their cheese breads are made from tapioca. It's tastes mochi like texture on the inside. There's yellow cheese bits on the original cheese bread, which is salty but balances out along the way when chewing. Everything seasoning cheese bread - it tasted like everything but the bagel seasoning with strong garlic flavor. Jalapeño cheese bread - you can taste the pickled jalapeños bits and a bit of a kick but on the very mild side. Mixed berry scone - fluffy on the inside and semi crunchy on the outside. The flavors are not overpowering but well balanced between sweetness and acidity from the berries. Brazilian cream cheese - very thick and creamy cream cheese. For me tasted like sour cream mixed with cream cheese. Guava sauce - not too sweet! This will pair very well with the mixed berry scone. Service was great! The cashier/ server was able to answer my questions and offered to heat up the cheese breads. A small cafe with seating available. It is clean and well put. 8.1/10 for me! read more

Cafe Patoro is a cute Brazilian cafe and bakery with pastries you can't really find at many other places. I tried: Original cheese PDQs (pao de queijo): really tasty! They're like little cheese bread puffs. They have many other flavors like jalapeño, garlic, etc Cornbread: really good Brazilian carrot cake: this was my favorite. It doesn't taste like carrot cake at all though, pretty much just a little chocolate bundt. read more
Stopped by Cafe Patoro while walking around Seaport. We grabbed an Au Lait and Matcha Latte, which were both great! Their coffee and matcha were both delicious and flavorful. They have simple syrup and vanilla simple syrup by the counter for you to add sweetness to your liking. We also tried their brazilian cheese breads, which were a great snack. Would definitely recommend for cheese fans! The inside seating and ambiance was also really nice. And prices were very reasonable for what we ordered! read more
This is a cute Brazilian cafe! I ordered the chocolate brigadeiro cake for takeout. It was a great as a moist chocolate cake, but I wish the 'Brazilian chocolate truffle filling' came through stronger. I am obsessed with brigadeiros, so I was hoping to taste that decadent flavor within the cake more. I'll have to come back and try some of the other items that stood out to me, including the brigadeiros truffles, Brazilian carrot cake, brigadeiro latte, and pão de queijo. read more
Came in for a quick order of beverages and the place is clean and cozy. The service was quick and had no line. The staff were nice and courteous. The drip coffee was decent. Most of the pastries are sold out except the Brazilian cheese balls (pao de queijo). read more
Cafe Patoro is a gem. Their coffee is excellent but the pastries are something to hype about. Get all kinds of Brazilian cheesy bread and all sorts of different cornbread; they are all superb! Highly recommend stopping here for a morning coffee and grab a pastry (or two). read more
A unique Brazilian cafe in the seaport area, I've been to Cafe Patoro a few times and it doesn't disappoint. Their po de queijo are chewy cheesy bread balls that they heat up for you and come in a few different flavors too. This time I also tried their Brazilian hot chocolate which was a bit too sweet but still pretty yummy. The chocolate sprinkles around the rim were a nice touch too. Unfortunately the shop is pretty small so there isn't much seating but I think it's a good to-go option in the area if you don't want a basic coffee shop. read more
This is a nice small coffee shop with great options. The chai latte was flavorful and not sweet and the hot chocolate tasted natural and delicious. The blueberry scone was great... flavorful and not dry. They have a great selection, nice staff, and everything was average NY prices. read more

Oh man, this place was good. Wanted hot chocolate in the area, but also ended up getting lunch. Got the arugula salad and the mini pdq sandwiches. delicious! I liked the ham and cheese one and pesto one. The salad was surprisingly good too and filling with all the toppings. The hot chocolates were good, not great. It was more milky and dark chocolate than solid milk chocolate. I did like the marshmellows though. They have about ten seats but it's a cute place and tons of foot traffic/kids. Nice street in fidi too. read more
